After emailing them I received a rather prompt response that our tent was welcome on one of their back in sites, which I'm very glad we chose because it had a little paved driveway that fit a picnic table, our car, and had a little space left over that our toddler loved drawing on with chalk. Check in was super easy, and very friendly. All the staff we interacted with were happy to help and answer our questions. This is a VERY family oriented campground, there are kids everywhere, but it was a blast! They have a huge sand pit area that has giant jumping pillow, a tether ball pole, some plastic playsets, and a large swimming pond with lots of inflatables. There is also a pool, but it was closed for the season. At the main lodge there are board games, carpet ball, giant games, and a handful of arcade games. The bathrooms were also very well kept. There were a limited number of flushing toilets on the overnight campgrounds, as a good portion of the area is used for seasonal permanent campers. However, there were port-a-potties very strategically placed and well maintained. Showers are 50 cents for 7 minutes. I would highly recommend this campground! We are already looking at coming back next year. It's also very close to Devil's Lake, but a little too far to walk to (parking at the Lake is $16).

They have a pond with inflatables, which the kids love. They also have a pool. There is also a pillow bounce thing and playground. A major plus is that they have bathrooms and showers! It is a pretty large place and gets booked up quick! The prices are reasonable, but have gone up over the years. They do have a store there, but be prepared to pay. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have activities throughout the week so be sure to check the events calendar.

It's an easy distance from where we live in Milwaukee, as it's in close proximity to the Wisconsin Dells. That said, even though we were deep in the woods camping, there was plenty of civilization close by should we have needed to restock on anything. Since we had quite a big group, we booked a double-site and boy did we luck out. I think we had the largest double that was available. It fit two large RV/campers and five tents, leaving ample room for tons of chairs around the fire pit and the big picnic tables provided. Oh and they are *electric campsites* which can be hard to find! No water hook up though. Not too far down from our site was the big shower houses/bathrooms. And let me just say, these are NICE! Like very nice. And very clean. Probably the best campsite bathrooms I've ever seen. I feel as though the building was very new / freshly redone. Other pros: plenty of lake activities (we rented both kayaks and pontoon boats), great walking paths (freshly laid wood chips and clear signage), lakeside beaches, and various playgrounds for the kiddos. Oh and fun planned experiences by the park - it was "Smokey Bear's birthday" when we were there and they had a firetruck on-site, water games, bday treats, prizes, and a meet and greet with the bear himself. A hit with our kids. Even if you're not camping, this state park would be wonderful for a day trip!

The bathrooms were truly next level for a campground--spacious stalls, tile finishes, automatic soap and towel dispensers, and very clean showers. They were some of the nicest campground facilities we've experienced. The inflatables on the lake were a huge hit with the kids, and the beach had perfect soft sand for swimming, sandcastles, and relaxing. The kids also loved both pools and spent hours enjoying the water. Our granddaughter was thrilled to win bingo during our stay! We appreciated the little details that made camping easier. Garbage was picked up at our site multiple times a day, and staff watered the roads to keep the dust down. My favorite feature was the dump station--hoses were already hooked up and ready to use, making the process quick and easy. More campgrounds should do this. The mini golf course was fun, the campground store had a great selection of toys that the grandkids loved, and quiet hours were actually respected, which made for peaceful evenings. Indian Trails does an excellent job creating a fun, family-friendly camping experience while keeping the campground clean, organized, and comfortable. We'll be back!

Burger patty had a layer of cheese in between. Tot rings were nice and crispy. Crispy chicken sandwich and chicken nuggets were good. Chicken Alfredo pizza was lotza mozza pizza. I like that brand. Root beer float was a decent one. There was a complimentary softee cone, a kayak rental and a bundle of wood. That was a nice surprise.

My family and vacationed there last month and we really enjoyed our stay! I'll start off by talking about lodging. The resort has five main types of lodging. There are cabins, lofts, studios, and lodges of different sizes, which means there'll always be something that suits your specific group. The accommodations are divided into housing "colonies," which makes getting around the resort (and remembering where you're staying) easier. My understanding is that some of the lodges are actually long-term rentals with people living there full-time, while others (like the one my family and I stayed at in the Terrace Colony) are set up for short-term hotel-style stays. My family and I came to the Wisconsin Dells area for a weekend retreat, and this was the definitely a great way to get us outdoors. This is an "outdoorsy" resort, so there's outdoor activities for all ages. Guests can rent electric bikes to explore the surrounding trails, which my parents tried and loved. I actually ended up catching a cold halfway through the trip and couldn't leave the hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and quiet the surrounding area was. I was expecting a lot of noise from people's outdoor activities, but I ended up actually being able to rest comfortably without being disturbed. Unfortunately, there isn't complimentary breakfast onsite (as far as I know) and the resort doesn't seem to serve other meals either. But there are plenty of great breakfast restaurants in the area to make up for that! The resort also offers a 24/7 self-service laundromat, and (although I didn't try them myself) I believe there are also pools, playgrounds, and other standard hotel-style amenities available. One final thing I would note is that the staff can be pretty strict about check-in and check-out times, so be aware of that and plan accordingly. But overall, I'd say that this cozy, camp-style destination resort has enough lodging and activities available to make it a great fit for any trip.

The campgrounds themselves are well-kept and honestly massive. Can't even imagine how many campsites they have. Ours in particular was in quite the open space with tons of grass, but there are plenty of options that are more wood-like and covered. Nice they have electric hook up options, as we were traveling with both tents and RVs. Hiking trails were awesome too, wow. Really enjoyed our excursions out and about, winding through the woods, rocky up-hills, and taking in the beautiful lake views. Also awesome? The beach and the attached gift shop/restaurant. Super duper well-kept. Tons of beach space (though it was still packed!) with clean sand and shallow waters, great for the kiddos. Also that gift shop is more of a convenience store- it's got it all! The adject ice cream shop was also enjoyed by everyone we traveled with. My only small gripe was the lack of garbage cans. I feel like this is some kind of state-park rule maybe? I don't know there was only one area with dumpsters and unless you trek over there, you're kind SOL with wrappers, ice cream cups, rubbish left over from your restaurant meal, etc. 100% will return here, whether it's for future camping, just hiking outings, or beach days.
