Given the price, the Tamarack is a reasonable place to stay -- away from the busy water parks, but still close enough to drive to any attraction. The unit I stayed in was relatively clean and spacious, with enough amenities to make it feel like home. I loved the generous amount of kitchen equipment that was provided, in case I didn't want to eat out. A small patio added a nice touch to the unit. In addition, there are also indoor and outdoor swimming pools available, and an arcade room available in the main building.

A simple tranquil getaway place at the Wisconsin Dells. Beautiful, well maintained exterior especially with regard to snow removal and very reasonable pricing. Wonderful wild ducks swimming in the pond, ready to be fed. The lodging is clean and somewhat modest, but operational and practical. Kitchen with microwave, cooking range, toaster and dishwasher. Living room has fireplace. Bathroom has shower and tub. Really nice and quiet with a parking spot right in front of each unit. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This is by far the worst resort experience I have had. At check in everything seemed fine until I arrived at the condo. The path to the unit is broken and has large holes you can easily trip on. Once inside I wanted to turn around and leave. The furniture is old...extremely old. The sofa sunk the chair unbearable. It comes with a 20 something inch tv in the living room you can't hear. When I tried to go on the patio the door latch came off. The bathroom has hole patch but was never painted. In the bedroom you have a horribly uncomfortable bed that has left me in back pain. The television in there is even smaller at 19". Appliances do not match and are dated. I will never return here. The other condo we rented was no better with a leather chair missing most of its leather from age and use. Do not stay here if you want a good Wisconsin dells experience.

It is rented as either a two bedroom (either end of the cottage), three bedroom (an end and the center one bedroom), five bedroom (the entire cottage). It is a timeshare. It can be rented out. I noticed on the website right away that sundara had construction going on. So when I called to reserve I asked right away exactly How the construction would affect our stay. They assured me that where we were going to be staying they wouldn't be working and that all the work was being done on the way opposite side of the resort. So I went Ahead and gladly paid $577 for my over night stay and couples massage. The room was awsome and the massages were great! But then to get woken up at 7:30am with loud banging literally right next door was frustrating. I think it's great your trying to imprOve and expand but then be honest with me and I would have waited to spend my $577 when the construction was over. My friend works construction everyday and took today (Monday) off of work to get away and relax with me and we dealt with it the whole time. Also I think it's pretty unsanitary to have the breakfast food literally NEXT to rooms that are being worked on. I could see dust coming from a room very close to wear all the fruit and other food was laying out.

Woof. I am SO glad I looked up this hotel on Google instead…read moreof Yelp because the reviews here are all over the place- but I think I know why. As I read through the reviews it's clear that people are leaving reviews for other locations / places they thought were the VUE. This hotel is perfectly located for adults, slightly off the beaten path with an amazing view! They have a restaurant and Starbucks in the hotel and partnering restaurants 10 minutes away. We checked in for two nights and honestly had a good time. There's a pool, sauna and hot tub that overlook the water which was perfect for watching it snow. Our rooms were nice, bed super comfortable. The only thing I would say is one of the rooms next to us had a loud shower and we heard it every time it started, but it would go away pretty quickly. I would stay again, this is not our go to- but the rating on Yelp is far from correct.

The location was good but unfortunately this was a bait and switch situation by Natura. Viewing…read moretheir site, I reserved the extension building (street view) which is across the street from the "hotel". I reserved the two queen room. The picture of the room in no way reflects what my room looked like AT ALL. Definitely a motel with poor amenities and dirty! I spilled some water on the floor and used a towel to clean it up. The towel ended up completely dirty from wiping the floor (disgusting). Added picture. Also saw a piece of what I think was dried up meat next to the microwave. They indicate you get free WiFi and cable TV. I was unable to get any WiFi unless I went across the street to the lobby. I asked the front desk about it and they use the router from the hotel and expect that the buildings across the street will connect to the signal (no extender). I included a pic of the message I received on all of my devices. When it did connect, it would then indicate "Internet no connection". My nephew wanted to watch a movie so we turned on the TV. Only got 5 of the cable channels and they were 3 news channels and a cartoon channel. All other channels indicated the signal was too weak (again, probably wired into the cable from across the street). As I sat in the lobby over two days when I needed WiFi, I counted 6-7 customers who went to the front desk complaining about various things. The front desk sticks to their script and we're not accommodating or helpful. Always offered to give the money back and the person could go elsewhere. I have never observed so many complaints from a variety of people (in two days) and I do quite a bit of traveling. We have stayed in 4-5 places in the Dells and this is BY FAR the worst accommodations and customer service we have encountered. Even the "free" use of the Natura beach (which is a great perk) won't lure us to stay at a Natura "resort" ever again. Recommendation: STEER CLEAR of their hotel/lodging!!

The indoor pool was absolutely fantastic for the toddlers and even my 7 yr old. Pool stays open late too till around 9-10 depending on date and times. I'm here on a week day and there's plenty of room and free space to roam around. There is a sweet trail and tether ball court as well. They just put in a new playground too for the kids. This place is a gem and the family who runs it is great. You feel like your off in the woods yet your less than a mile walk away from downtown where all the bars are! They also have package deals if you want tickets to water parks or attractions. We went to the deer park, adare go karts, knuckleheads, and a few other things. Great time! We were in search of a place where we could rent the entire property for our wedding and wanted a place where we could offer all of the ages of the family something to do at any given moment. This place delivered!! My best friend and I called this place on a roadtrip because we found it on google and thought it was worth a shot and Chris the owner answered and was so kind and thoughtful that we detoured and stopped to meet him there in the middle of winter. We chose this place because of him and the fabulous, well kept property. We talked with Chris and his wife several times prior to our August wedding and they were patient with our planning process and able to accommodate all of our requests. We cannot thank them enough for the use of the clubhouse and pool! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service that made our stay truly unforgettable.  Chris and his wife Angie, the staff and property were more than we could have dreamed up! The property itself is absolutely stunning, nestled in a picturesque setting that offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere of the Wisconsin River. It was the perfect site for our wedding and family gathering, providing a beautiful backdrop for our special day and ample space for all our guests to relax and enjoy.  The owners went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Their dedication to excellence and genuine care for their guests truly set Cedar Lake Lodge and Settlement apart.  Whether you're planning a wedding, a family reunion, or just a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend Cedar Lake Lodge and Settlement. We couldn't decide out of the two experience which one to do so we did a double feature. We come into the building on the 4th of July and there is an information desk because the place is loaded with other things to do at the resort. We get to the Take Flight and wait in line until it's time for us to go in. It was a bit of a wait because a group before us had just gone in. We did the Space Flight first. WOW is all I can say! I don't want to give it away but I would recommend the experience. It's full of surprises. We really enjoyed Space Flight. Then we unfortunately had to stand in line again for Wonders of the American West. That wait was even longer. We enjoyed that experience too. We got our pictures taken by a photographer for both experiences and we took advantage of their picture offerings after we were done to remember the experience. The one thing that needs improvement is that you have to be weighed before getting access to the line (which is fine). You have to be less than 325 pounds. There is a red light/green bright circular light on a tall pole right above the scale for everyone to see. It's embarrassing if you step on and it turns red for no entry. That should be moved so only the attendant can see. No one should have anxiety about people seeing if you get a green light or red light. Next we were hungry so we stopped at the Camp Social Burger Bar. Many were hanging out at the bar and the food looked pretty good so we decided to get the Burger BBQ which is an angus beef patty with cheese, bacon and onion strings with bbq sauce. It came with homemade potato chips. Hubby got a pina colada mocktail and they decorated it so pretty with the 4th of July colors and decorations. I must say the burger, chips and the drink were divine. We sat in the seating they have and just chilled which was nice. They have so many other eating places and a candy shop. We really enjoyed our experience there and highly recommend. Thank you Wilderness at the Resort. A+ in our books!

We stayed in a single king room and were pleasantly surprised with how much space we had, it didn't feel cramped even with all the toddler gear. Both the hotel and the waterpark were consistently clean throughout our stay. For a high traffic family resort this was impressive and much appreciated. The wave pool and dedicated toddler area were a huge hit. Our little dude had a blast and it was great to have a safe, age appropriate space for him to explore. The lodge is due for some updates, specifically the waterpark equipment - the water jet skis in the toddler area were all broken and material was visibly chipping. While my toddler didn't notice the cosmetic wear, as a parent it is a little worrisome. I'd say visiting in the winter was the perfect way to beat the cold, though it did limit us to indoor sections. We're definitely curious to return when it's warmer to see how the outdoor area fairs. Overall a great choice for families with toddlers, but hopefully, management will invest in some much needed repairs to the play features soon!

The room itself was large, which was nice, but the broken toilet seat was hard to overlook, that's something housekeeping should have caught and fixed before anyone checked in. They did offer to fix it or change our room promptly. The outdoor Waterpark felt very unregulated. The drop slide didn't have a bar to hold onto like every other slide of this type, and kids were allowed to stand right where riders came off the slides, which didn't feel safe. The outdoor bar in the sand wasn't open on a Thursday or Friday, which was disappointing. The arcade closes at 9, and after that there's basically nothing left for kids to do. The gym was AWFUL. It's three hotel rooms with a ripped out sink and dim lighting. The weight rack is an embarrassment. They had one set of 10lb dumbbells. The next lowest weight was 30lbs and it topped out at 50lbs. The zip-lining on the property is offered at $25 if you purchase it prior to check in. It costs $70 if you book afterwards. It felt like we were in another country - we had one guide for the 4 of us. She let my husband go on his own, my 11 year old followed. Then she zip-lined over leaving my daughter and myself to hopefully set ourselves up properly. There were times she was already ahead of me and not there to receive my daughter or myself when we zip lined across. Really increased my anxiety as a parent. Overall, it's a low‑budget version of a Great Wolf Lodge but they allow you to bring your pets with you.
