Lakeside Auto Detailing Review -…read more Service Date: July 4th, 2025 Location: Lakeside Auto Detailing, Odessa, NY Rating: (1/5 stars) Paint Damage and Poor Workmanship I brought my vehicle to Lakeside Auto Detailing with minimal existing wear--just a few microscopic paint chips typical for the car's mileage. The hood had no prior damage. After the detailing service, I discovered a large paint blister and erosion in the exact area where Keegan had worked when he delivered the car, and upon inspection of the finished work. He acknowledged using a power washer on the hood but refused accountability, stating it "wasn't his responsibility" if the paint chipped while he was servicing it. This response is concerning from someone who should understand proper paint care techniques and equipment settings. Incomplete Service The detailing work itself was substandard, and multiple areas remained dirty, including: -All windows -Door bottoms and joints -Back hatch (particularly neglected) This level of incomplete work is unacceptable and unlike any professional detailing I've experienced elsewhere. Unprofessional Customer Service After documenting the damage with photos, I contacted the business immediately through multiple channels, requesting a resolution. The owner (Keegan) has completely ignored my communications--no response, acknowledgment, or attempt to address the situation. Final Thoughts The combination of careless technique resulting in paint damage, incomplete service delivery, and a complete lack of professional customer service makes this business unreliable. I cannot recommend Lakeside Auto Detailing and would advise others to seek services elsewhere. Photos of damage are available upon request. Happy to provide additional details to anyone considering this business. Value...When dropping off my car, he simply walked away without asking for payment or acknowledging the damage, avoiding any conversation about a solution.

It's Blaise Alexander now and I took my truck to the body shop for a bumper and fender deer hit…read morethat wasn't super bad at all but I was without my truck 15 days. They didn't even touch it from 5/3-5/8 at all it just sat there SMH! Pick a diff shop if you wana get your car back faster. The work looks really good tho.

They contacted me because they saw I was interested in selling my truck ( I was on various sites…read moreresearching my truck's trade-in value, and it seems they must track some of those sites). Anyway, I explained to them several times that I was looking at trade in value and that I had a couple of offers from carmax and nerdwallet. The lady I spoke to said that they usually (key word) do better than them. I figured, what the heck, they are only an hour away, why not. Now, I was brutally honest about rating my truck, actual mileage, scratches, as well as the accessories. Well, they lowballed me by $3000.00 and made it sound like they were being very generous and magnanimous about the whole deal. I told him he was low and thanked him for his time. He was a bit taken aback about that. Asked me if I wanted his estimate, said I could keep it or even throw it in his face if I wanted to. Okay, I did kinda chuckle over that. Obviously, he has done this before with limited success. As I left, he tried to engage and explain his position, I just smiled and left. The lady I originally spoke to sent me a half-hearted apology email that made me chuckle, too. Update: I sold my truck to Driveway.com for $25,150. Blaise Alexander offered to go as high as $22,000 (after telling me it was only worth $21,000 and change). Even though I was only asking for trade-in value, I was prepared to take $24,000 when I went there. Lucky for me, they low balled me. I guess I owe them a thank you.
