Instead, he offered a deal to persuade me into signing the agreement: if I agreed to give my inheritance to my ex, he would represent me in a partition to divide undisclosed assets case next. I did not hear from her until a week later after my initial request. I always had to call for updates and her usual response of " we haven't received a police report dear" was standard and the word "dear" was used a lot too. The service was SLOW so I sought another company to handle my case. On June 11, 2026, I wrote to Elizabeth that I will no longer need their service and please send my new law firm a drop letter. Elizabeth informed me that it'll take 2 weeks for that to happen. I called weekly on whether the drop letter has been sent and as usual her " I submitted it the day you asked me to dear and it's out of my hands. That goes to another department ". Frustrated, I asked why she hasn't followed up after each of my call. Same answer. Today, 7,9,2026 I called the front office instead of Elizabeth. Her supervisor informed me that today is the only day that she has heard of my request. Communication is very poor--calls are not returned, and there is little to no follow-up. I waited nearly three weeks for an update and only received information after I reached out myself. When I called to ask why paperwork had not been filed as ordered by the judge, the receptionist (Vanessa) responded, "I didn't know there was a time frame," which was very concerning. My court date was scheduled for January 5, and had I not called the office myself, I would not have known to appear. Even then, I had to wait until 4 PM to get any information, only to be told that the lawyer wanted to speak with me. When the lawyer finally appeared in court, she was late and unprepared. To make matters worse, the office charges for communication with the front desk, yet the information you provide is not properly relayed.Overall, I felt ignored, overcharged, and unsupported during an already stressful situation. I would not recommend this office if you value timely communication, professionalism, and follow-through.If you are looking for a law office that lacks communication, fails to address concerns in a timely manner, and charges excessively for incomplete work, this would be the place.
