I immediately went to my local store and showed them my receipt. Since the picture of what I ordered and what I received they could not do the return in store. REALLY? The problem seems pretty obvious and was definitely NOT of my making.they wouldn't even do a store credit. MY receipt clearly showed what I ordered and how much I spent. They referred me to Marshall 1-800.I called on 5 separate days and spoke to 5 different people, each assuring me they would email a return label. I didn't get any return labels (yes, of course I checked my junk emails). This seems pretty incompetent considering the original order, and subsequent follow up emails were sent to the proper email address, clearly they have it. Yes, when Marshalls sent out a follow up on my shopping experience, I send a detailed email explains their mix up and the problem. I Amat a total loss and pretty disgusted with the entire process.

So I made an appointment at the Fairview, TX location with Tina, whose bio on JCP website, says she's been a stylist for 20+ years. There was only one other customer in the shop while I was there and Tina was working on both of us (no complaint about that at all) After the perm was done, she dried my hair and THEN cut it. Never have I had a dry-cut. She cut in what I can only call a frenzy, with dry hair flying everywhere. When she was done, she asked me to check it and I could see the sides were different lengths, as was the back. She dry-cut to 'fix it', and had to do take several attempts to even everything up, but I still came away with one side shorter than the others over my ears. She was nice enough, but seemed to rush through everything. And I don't think she left the neutralizer on long enough or it was a bad brand of perm because now that I'm home, it hardly looks/feels like I had a perm. I would never go back to her and would caution anyone who likes their hair evenly cut, to reconsider it. I should say, I've had many MANY perms over the last 40 years and I know what it should look like and feel like, and this isn't it. I feel like I just flushed $135 and half of my hair down the drain. Very disappointing.

I had an hour to kill so I came in to look around. The first thing I noticed was the racks barely had any stock on them. The items they had seemed good, just not a lot to choose from. I watched a woman shopping and she reached out to another shopper that she didn't know, asking for her opinion. She said she had an event that evening and wondered what she thought of this black and white blouse that could be paired with white or black pants. It was a cute blouse and I'm not sure if she tied it like it was or if she saw it on the rack that way. She tried it on over her clothes right there in the aisle. I'm not sure if she ended up buying it or not, but I thought it looked good. I would come back to the store again, hoping that they had more items to choose from.

For example,this brand spanking new larger than life location just opened. As it happens I was going to be at my daughter's home around dinner time and she had just been shopping at the new store. She served the Mission Hill Bistro Smoked Sliced Brisket and it blew me away! The quality and preparation are exceptional. I just couldn't believe it and made a pig of myself eating slice after slice. My daughter showed tremendous courage serving this as,she grew up on my Backyard Texas Smoked brisket! Thanks Costco for the excellent product in the heart of brisket country.

We drove to the edge of the earth, because this was one of the few stores that were carrying a wine we wished to give as a gift for Christmas. Well, Adam in the wine department did not disappoint. He helped us find our wine choice and also offered some other excellent choices for a great price...best bang for your buck. Thanks Adam, you Rocked it!!!!! It's always amazing how each store has different finds. I purchased two pairs of jeans that I know were regularly around $88 and were on special for $29.99. If you are a WHBM fan, it would be worth a trip to check it out. They had a good balance of casual and dressy items (I did almost get another little black dress as well). I do tend to purchase many items on the WHBM website since I know how their clothes fit me, but I did buy jeans that I didn't buy online because I wasn't sure how they felt or what the fabric was like.
