HUGE store! This is by far the biggest Burlington I've ever seen! Oddly enough they didn't have larger sizes (2x+) in men's underwear while I can usually find a few at any other smaller store. My wife also seemed to notice that the clothes here had more tears, stains, etc... on them. So I guess since this is an outlet mall, this store may carry their lower quality products that they don't want to or couldn't sell at their other stores. read more

Most recent visit was the morning of 9/28/24. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the security woman who told us to wait due to monitoring the number of customers entering the store. She let us in after a moment. We grabbed a cart and started walking around to see what new inventory of items this store had. Definitely looked more organized than before, to our surprise. Didn't see anything on the floor, or stuff as disorganized or unkept like it did in the past. Saw a whole lot more Halloween accessories, Funko POP Toys, Men's socks and underwear with Freddy, Jason and Michael Myers on them!!! Noticed less items in stock for the Men's section. Bought some nice new threads for our baby boy, workout gloves that were on sale and a few other things. Didn't spend too much time inside the store, but did see more items on sale, which was a plus during our shopping spree! read more

I always have enjoyed the Auburn Burlington until my last visit. I brought a friend and bragged about how wonderful it has been shopping at the Auburn Burlington. We both took a cart and was buying products when my friend asked for the restroom. I had just been to that store and had used the restroom. I walked to it and asked the nice gentlemen. He glanced at my cart then smiled and said follow him. He had me leave my cart and he opened the code on the door. My friend was told no restroom ! We put are cart to the side full of items and walked out. I understand with how the world is today. I have worked many years and have even placed signs that say restrooms for our customers that purchase only. read more

if it wasn't for the prices at this store, I would NEVER do business with Burlington Coat Factory. Review is purely based on Loss Prevention, not products, will explain below! Me & my fiancé were at the Auburn Supermall for the monthly card show that happens the 1st Saturday of the month. While he was shopping, I decided to go into Burlington since it had been awhile and wanted to see what cool bathroom items they had, recently remodeled our master bathroom and wanted to find some cool canisters. I found some items I wanted, waited in the 25 minute line, paid for my items and left out the mall exit. As I am walking out, the security sensor went off....I was shocked. A frizy dark haired 20's female with glasses yells at me "I need to check your bag".....again, SHOCKED. I walked over to the girl, opened my bag, handed her the receipt and said PLEASE CHECK IT. She goes through my items, and realizes that there was a sensor that wasn't' removed off a hair product. She took if off and handed the bag back to me. I just looked at her and said "Sooo, now that you have embarrassed me, accursed me of stealing and having the security system go off, AND CLEARLY I DIDNT' STEAL, your sales associate failed to remove the tag....how are you going to make me whole again" She just stars at me...and says "I have no idea"...... I worked in retail in college. When we forgot to remove a sensor, we gave them a 20% coupon for the trouble and OUR MISTAKE for not removing the sensor!! Employees do not care about customers. I really was just hoping that this loss prevention associate would have just apologized "I am so sorry that we didn't' remove that sensor and you had to go through this" SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT...nothing Burlington, DO BETTER. After awhile, prices as low as they are won't matter, there is always Amazon that we can go to! read more

The inventory at this store is depleted, large sections of the store are emptied and closed off, so what's left is grouped in the center. The racks are sparse. Still, what's left of the store is very cheap, great bargains. I guess people could always find something to buy, because the lines at this location are ALWAYS long. There are usually only one or two employees ringing customers out. When I was there, the mall entrance registers were closed and I had to wait in a line for over 30 minutes at the south registers. There were probably only 7 customers in front of me from the beginning but the two employees were extremely slow. read more

Makes me dislike this location. 1 cashier ring up. Other employees just talking. 1 of the customer in line asking for help to check out us already because waiting an hour but employees they can't? This store is a disaster! The aisles have products spilled out into them as if nothing is ever put back by employees. The clothing aisles are disorganized with multiple items not the size shown on the hanger or the racks. It makes it almost impossible to find what you want. I don't plan on ever returning. I love shopping at Burlington and was excited to see they had a location here when visiting the Outlet Mall. This store is so disorganized, it was ridiculous. Merchandise was thrown around in random places/wrong departments. Stuff was in the aisles making it feel tight & cluttered, and the store being extremely busy did not help. I was just kicked out for being harassed by another customer. I was shopping, minding my own business, when a vulgar mouthed customer started harassing me. I get that this is the United States and we have the right to free speech, it's just so sad that some people choose to be so ignorant when out in public while on their phone (for all to hear). The public wifi never connects and they block cell service. Companies only do that when hiding prices and charging too much.

My mother came into your store today was there for over an hour when one of the employees at this store came up to her and said she needed to leave and refused to tell her why. Then they wouldn't let her even check out after shopping for an hour. He lied and said he was the manager but he was not. I was a regular shopper here and spent quite a bit of money at this store until today, June 11th @ around 7:20 pm after shopping for over an hour for luggage for a trip I am taking a store representative approached me and bluntly told me that the management wants me to leave the store immediately?!?! I thought he was kidding!! I had been minding my own business , didn't have a cross word with anyone , I was completely confused and embarrassed. I asked him why?? he told me they don't have to give me a reason and to get out! I asked if I can buy my stuff first snd he said msnagemfnt , well me, I'm the manager and I want you to leave my store now. get out. I've never been treated this way in all my life!! when I got home I called the store to talk to the real manager and she didn't sound like she was familiar with my situation, which makes me wonder why this store employre is pretending to be a manager and taking it upon himself to throw out good paying , long time customers for no hood reason?!?! it's wrong!!! I am mortified! there were other customers in every direction! I'm still waiting to hear back from the store manager , but she didn't really seem to think this issue was a big deal, telling me all the stuff she needed to do before calling me back about this issue. Has a decent selection, all the cashiers and workers are friendly. But they are always almost short staffed. I should not have to wait over 15 mins on a Tuesday to checkout. I do not understand why they have one cashier for the entire day on each side. Managers dont seem to do anything besides watch there employees, they should be greeting people instead. read more

The Women and Children department here is pretty big. They have a large selection... especially of coats (well, duh!). The only downfall is that the place is always a mess, but you can expect that at almost any discount store. The prices that I have found are pretty fabulous. You just really have to look since there really aren't any displays and the organization sucks. I can't really blame them though because the store is almost always packed and it is rare to have less than 5 people waiting in line at once. You might not get the best quality of items here, but if you want a good deal, give it a shot. read more

I have shopped at this location about 8 times within the past year. I continue to do so because of the great deals the store offers. However, I do hope that Management considers a serious adjustment to the level of "customer service" that should be provided by the cashiers. I have yet to experience a "happy-ish" transaction at the registers. That's always the part I dread during my visit there - and that's so sad. I scored a cute coat and a really cure pair of PJ's for my nephew for an amazing price. The floor was crazy messy like any discount place I have been to but the staff was exceptionally nice and the selection is huge. Being a rather small person has its disadvantages here unless you are petite small, they tend to carry sizes that are in the middle range, which is great for some but not the tall lanky types. As a seasonal tip, if you want to dress your kid up as Pooh they by far have the cutest costume! read more

What happened to this place - it use to be an OK place to shop but now it looks like a cheap thrift store. The aisles had product laying all over - in the cloths aisles there was coats, dresses, etc. just laying everyone. Sizes weren't even close to what the signs said on the racks. I do not think this would happen in the middle of the week in one day - I am guessing they are not hiring and thus not taking care of the store. We had a question - but try to find some - no employees anywhere in the store - you would think they would have a team cleaning up. No customer service. We looked over at the long lines waiting to pay and just left - looking over at the cashiers - many were just idly gazing at the computer screens - counting the minutes until they can go home and watch TV. 4 stars because you can find some amazing deals here. You just have to be willing to deal with the other people and the mess. You could spend over an hour in here. They seem to be doing some construction in here which adds to the mess. When we walked in, the line was huge and I didn't even want to try to find anything for fear of having to stand in line for Lord knows how long. We decided to just hang and see what we could find. I am glad that we did. Yes, it is a mess, you will not find any employees on the floor to see if you need help, that is not a huge deal to me in a place like this. I think that they do the best that they can with trying to keep the mess off the floor on a busy Saturday with sketchy clientele. My husband scored 2 pairs of sweet pumas for like $25 a pop. Killer deal. I found a pair of men's frye boots for $130 which was WAY cheap. Didn't get them, but you see the point, hunt, you can find amazing items at rock bottom prices. The line was still long but I stood there less than 5 mins and the cashier was super nice. I'm giving this place one star. I was there with my mom checking out some clothes. Clothes were nice and all, but my experience went downhill the register. A girl named Sofia (something like that) was our cashier and her attitude was horrible. She was constantly giving a passive aggressive tone when my mother was asking to check if she scanned everything correctly. As my mom was putting her card in, she told Sofia to put an item outside the bag and Sofia clasped her hands together and said, "Ma'am, can I HELP you?" in the most rude tone. I spoke to my mom in our language and added in that she was being extremely rude. The girl hears us talking and proceeds to close her register aggressively and pushes the receipt towards my mom's hand. I was biting my tongue at the time so as not to further aggravate this cranky lady. I am a young person like her, but as a person who works with older people and customers, at least try to act nice and helpful instead of acting rudely. You may not like your job, but make sure to have a smile regardless. If my mom asking you to recheck your scanning is the most annoying thing in the world, get a new job or learn to reassure people nicely even if you are annoyed. My mom was simply asking for her to recheck if she scanned the items and asked to see the list of the items as it seemed sketchy with how she placed the items on the counter all over the place. No one wants to leave the store with items scanned twice. Love the deals, but some employees there make the visit horrible. read more

I found a $450 suit for $110 and think I bought about $700 worth of nice clothes for $260. I was here during a weekday -- sure, it's vaguely like a rummage sale - but, it's a Burlington Coat factory...they're all like rummage sales. That's the fun! For the most part, the aisles are wide and clear. Mess in the aisles is usually the hardest part of bargain shopping stores. Happy to say, at least when I visited, this places was pretty floor cover free. I also just like Burlington Coat Factory because it's a good place for a transplant from the East Coast to find East Coast brands and things I can't otherwise find in California and Washington. I think of this place as a kind of East Coast Ross. It's also in an outlet mall type thing with a lot of suburban shopping options. read more

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I bought pants, and they keep claiming to me that I wore them for a long time and washed them. However I've put them on for maybe 2 hours as I had to go to important meeting. When I took them off they turned out to be very bad quality. And I NEVER washed them. I was trying to return them, but manager Sarena was keeping to refuse my return. When I went to another manager she ran across from the whole store yelling "No! Don't return!". I was speaking Russian with my daughter, and she was looking strangely to us, like we are some garbage. Interesting, is this Burlington policy or her general dislike to the immigrants. I love Burlington and a lot of my friends use it. After such an awful customer service I will very unlikely recommend Burlington to any one. read more

This place always looks like it got hit by a hurricane. I would never buy any clothes here but I since it's across the street from my office, I pop in here once in a while during my lunch to see if I can find some cheap housewares. I did pick up a pair of dress shoes once. I wouldn't say it's this location in general, I think Burlington stores are always disaster areas...kinda like how Ross is usually a mess. Plus the people that typically shop here are not near the top of the income ladder. Anyways, if you're feeling it adventurous..give it a go and see if you can score something on the cheap. This is the go to place for my childrens jackets. Always great deals. I come to burrlington twice a year for many years. I was reading some reviews about this place being messy. I never noticed this. But what would you expect with all these "cave man" shoppers knocking jackets off racks and keep rolling along. The store is huge. Horrible employees and not about customer service!! At the BCF the CUSTOMER IS NOT RIGHT and they WILL NOT HONOR THEIR MARKED PRICES. They lost all my baby/ child business I gave them an will in the future. I am going to make sure everyone hears of this terrible experience and never supports their company again. My family and I were purchasing multiple things and two of those included two 50 pack of breast milk storage bags. After trying to purchase them at the $5.99 labeled price ( what the shelf tag read) they were ringing up at $16.99. Apparently the employees had mis priced the products on the shelf. They refused to honor the price shown. The shift supervisor I spoke to - her name was NANCY- she said if I had read the fine print on the tag I would have seen it was mispriced. I was very upset they wouldn't honor the price. NANCY said it wasn't the stores fault it was mispriced. I asked for corporates phone number so I could call them. I also asked for her to write her name down. After restocking a few shelves and helping two other employees, she brought me the number. I asked her for her name and she covered her name tag and informed me " no I am not giving you my name you don't need it. Call that number". I asked the three people at the check stands what her name was and they too refused to give it to me. So, I then had to call to speak to the store manager to get NANCY'S name. As we were leaving nancy told my fiancée and infant " some people are just so rude". TALKING ABOUT ME- THE CUSTOMER!!! I have called corporate and are waiting for a call back. I am hoping from a professional stand point they make this right; They prove to me that they know what customer service is all about. I'll keep you YELPers updated. read more
