This Burlington is horrible. I've been shopping here for the past 6 years and I've decided that it's about time to write a review. This used to be such a great place - find great deals, find something really cute that originally was a great deal and now it's even better because it's on clearance! Fast forward - you will find nothing: if you do = it'll be torn, stained or in another size. Don't ask for help because they'll look at you and say that's all we have. Not one shoe will be in the correct place - worse than that - they will be thrown in different boxes all mismatched or all over the floor. Baskets will be filled with merchandise all over the store that their "employees" will never get around to putting up. AND the last straw you will walk into the restroom with your child, where every single stall is nasty (I can't even go into detail because it was that gross) - I did try to go into detail with 2 different employees one told me "well, I'm not cleaning it" and the other told me "the cleaning lady doesn't arrive 'til 4."...I guess that meant my shopping trip was over, thank God. read more

The cashiers are wonderful!! BUT IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE WHY IM WAITING 40+ MINUTES in line!!! For two items!! I went ahead and counted 11 cashier booths AND ONLY THREE WERE IN USE. THREE. The line extended all the way to the front door (I'm not exaggerating). This must be a higher end issue, the cashier boxes MUST be broken or something. It doesn't make sense. To those higher ups, GET MONEY AND FIX YOUR STORE. and for the love of my sweet heart, put more cashiers on the floor. OR add a 10 items or less option. It's repulsive and I and the other 30 people in line definitely debated leaving everything behind just because of the wait. read more

I think it was put together nice! Idk why these people give it such bad rating. What do you expect. This is not Nordstrom. Some people have these crazy expectations. Come on now buddy! Calm it down. I found some really cute things to decorate here with and a cute top! The clothes section is wow but I do the home decor part of the store. Super cute! read more

The selection may be good but you will end up waiting in line for over 30 minutes because they only have one cashier "due to corona virus" even if there is a line of 8+ customers. Not to mention the cashier is slower than all get out. It's enough to have made 3 people decide the line is not worth the wait. read more

It was almost comical looking for a coat at Burlington last weekend. My three friends & I had been on the hunt for some warm coats for an upcoming trip to Colorado and figured we'd stop in to see what they had. What they had were rows of EMPTY clothing racks. Not even one tiny rack with a few jackets but literally racks (both men's and women's) of hangers with noting on them. It looked like the place had been looted or something. If Burlington COAT Factory wants to honor to their name, they should probably have at least a handful of coats/jackets... don't you think? Additionally, the entire place was dirty and unorganized so my fiends & I didn't even try to walk around & browse. Avoid this location if you can!! read more

Oh. My. Word. I am writing this review actually out of concern. I wish I could post pictures with this review, because after wading through garbage on the floors I really couldn't believe this place hasn't been shut down or declared hazardous! I'm not commenting on service (not that I received any) or quality as yeah, you get what you get with discount stores. And do not take my disgust with this place as being snobby, my favorite store in the world is TJ Maxx (glorious). But holy hell!! Clearly customers have no care for the store to follow suite of the workers. I saw FIVE different half enjoyed drinks just left visibly on shelves, I saw empty product containers where people just took the items for themselves- and left the evidence on display! Every isle had things thrown on the floor... I just have never been in a business that was so uncared for. I have pictures that would make the head of BCF nauseated. I'll be looking where to send! DO NOT SHOP HERE, BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! DON'T BE TEMPTED BY THEIR CHEAP CRAP, IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. First of all, I almost don't want to write a review because this store has done nothing but waste my time. But I feel that if I could save just one person from the experience I had then I had to try. First of all, the store is poorly organized, smells, and is a safety hazard at best. After I had climbed through and over items littered all over the store, I did find a few items to buy. But then I got to the checkout- The credit card machine was acting improperly and the woman put her hands up and said " I don't know what to tell you... " I asked her if there was another register we could use or if there was a manager to speak to and she said no. Just no, that's all. Then she followed up with "can't you go get cash from somewhere?" I leave the store... they say they will hold the items if I want to return by 10pm. My boyfriend thinks, at this point that I am over reacting. Without my knowledge, he calls the store to ask if they will hold the bags until tomorrow morning so he can go pay for them (as a sweet gesture) They say no. He asks to speak to a manager, they say no. He now realizes I am not exaggerating. I wish I could leave a 1 star review. I would rather throw my money out the window of my car than spend it here. This is by far the worst store PERIOD that I have ever went to. The staff should all be fired. Everyone that works there is incompetent and uninterested in helping a customer in any way. read more

Pros: *The selection is extensive. *You can get home decor and clothing here. *You stand to find some pretty inexpensive stuff of decent quality. *There are plenty of brand names available. *I've rarely seen it crowded. Cons: *The quality of some of the clothing and decor is not great. *Finding your size in something you like can sometimes be difficult. I'm not sure they keep up with reordering/restocking inventory. *I've never found a good purse or jewelry here, and I really think they could step these items up. *There is never anyone on the floor to help if you need it. You are completely on your own here. *If you are looking for trendy, look elsewhere. This place is good for finding a few basic shirts, maybe a jacket, or a wall picture. This is one of those places that really is hit or miss. Sometimes you find a deal on what you are looking for, and many times you walk out with nothing. read more

This is THE WORST Burlington Coat Factory I have ever been to in my life. Yes. Bad. The store was so dirty. There was food wrappers in a brand new coat pocket. The bathroom was something to run from. Whomever manages that store needs to be fired quick. This is no way to run a large store like this. If you're too busy to clean up or keep things straight, hire more people. The company makes more than enough money to compensate new employees. read more

Wow. I'm not sure why the word coat is in this store's name. Three small mostly empty racks of trash. What should have been women's coats was three, small, mostly empty racks of sorted child and women's sizes light jackets. It was dark, it was scary, and it smelled. Avoid this place. read more

This is one of the worst Burlington's you can go to. The main reason I go to it as much as I do, is because its right down the street from me. So the convenience of it makes me go and its one of the few stores that still does Layway. Other than that, this store is always in a huge mess and so disorganized. Finding your size in the clothing section is just an annoyance. Items are the shelves are stacked on one another with no kind of order. I've been in areas of the store where there are some pretty bad staines...Not sure if its just spilled food or possibly throw up but its pretty gross. The staff is nice though. There are some people who look miserable but most of them are nice but they can be really slow in getting your items. Sometimes its hard to find anyone to assist you. If I was the manager of this store or was like a district manager, I would fire everyone and hire new people. The condition of the store on the inside is just horrible and people either need to be retrained or just get rid of them. read more

Shopping here stresses me out, it's a huge mess. I spend the whole time I'm there trying to find what section I'm suppose to be in. It's just a really bad place with anybody with even mild ocd! They advertise as a coat factory yet have very little to offer. read more
