This is specifically for the Starbucks experience inside of this target. I didn't catch her name. It's Sunday of 14 June at 4:00 PM. Short girl, pale, complaining about everything when I asked a question side and said I don't know. I asked for a drink with a splash, listen to me when I say this a "splash," of heavy cream, and she poured, "poured," so much heavy cream it's disgusting. I don't know how you are training these people, but the difference between, and I'm trying not to curse here, but this is the second time these people don't know what the hell they're doing, if you don't know the difference between a splash, and a Poer, I don't know what to tell you a customer is asking you for a very specific thing. I wanted enough to change the color of my coffee as I said. You poured almost an entire shot glass full of heavy cream into my coffee. It's just kind of stupid I don't get it Train your people to listen to your customers and give them what they want when they requested. Tell them to get a better attitude, look at people in the face address them directly stare them in the eye, and at least act like they enjoy working here. One place that will always dominate any neighborhood besides that other depressing behemoth store is Target. A huge sprawling parking lot with enough space under one roof to get in a mile of walking, if one were so compelled. This brings me to Target in Austin Tx. Located in a safe albeit busy part of town this place will have, almost anything you need since it's a Super Target. They're aren't many people walking around so if you need something be prepared to "hunt." Finally the place is always clean and stocked so that's a huge bonus. As for the food, it has what one has come to expect from Target, average products at a low cost however when it comes to fruit and veggies, the supply is always needs a lot of washing. The baked and homemade food items are average but better than that other "blue" store! I've also found they're limited in toys as I tried to purchase some items for my kids but they only have the absolute most popular items. So, if you want that GI Joe action figure, you won't find it here, or at least anything new. As for electronics, they have most of the newest gaming consoles, games and controllers however 4k media is limited, but that's a standard among all stores now as physical media continues to be replaced by inferior forms of content like streaming. Most items like pet food and accessories are in abundance, hardware and housing goods have most of what someone needs and the kitchen section has a lot of average equipment to great stuff depending on what you need. For example, the knife selection is horrible but mixers are just as good as anywhere else. I do all of my vitamin and specialty medicine (not prescription) from Target as it's the cheapest. Overall, Target is exactly what you expect anywhere and that's by design. The only real differences are subtle things that regionally might sell better at one place then another state won't offer a product as it won't make sense. Think of a heavy winter coat for sale in Texas - it isn't needed. Other than those items, it's Target so you already know what you want. read more

Holy Shit Target has gone downhill. This is a lovely retail store and great location. This is for Managment of target, and the cooperation who stopped DEI and it really shows in your leadership and same store sales drops. There has been a boycott especially during weeks of boycott and I wasn't boycotting until this. Target gave out swagbags at this location and nothing to the employees since they were up super early, but to management. You guys passed people out people less than optimal prices compared to other retailers like Lowe's. It truly made me think why I give them any business when target is starting to Alienate any and all customers who support them. Never shopping here again! Customer service is abysmal and apparently they have quietly changed their return policy so that some items do not qualify for the 90 day policy anymore. I live in Central Texas which has pretty much been underwater for the last two weeks. Not knowing there was a new policy I opted to stay safe and not go to Target to return a watch. Now because I am a few calendar days past the window they are refusing to accept the return. read more

A "Super Target", basically the Disneyland version of Target. If you leave a normal Target with about two dozen extra things you didn't expect to buy, you'll probably be doubling that amount in here. It's fairly clean and organized in here, and given it has a full sized grocers, mini food vendors, a CVS Pharmacy, and rows and rows of food/clothing/household supply wares, you'll likely find anything you'd ever need in here. Otherwise, there's nothing special or different about this Super Target than any other normal sized one. Highly recommended as a safe haven during the zombie apocalypse. read more

I like this Super Target a fair amount because it often has more of the items I'm looking for than my regular Target closer located to me in Kyle. Also they have a lovely bakery section that is always a struggle to resist! But occasionally I come up to Manchaca to shop. Today I had to go to Party City to grab birthday supplies which is in the same shopping center, so I also dropped into Target! Right now they are in the middle of a remodel and have been for a few months now. I'm unsure when they are scheduled to complete it, but in the meantime it does make things a little more wonky. I'm sure it will be an improvement once they're done. While I've been here on numerous occasions since moving to the greater Austin area in 2020, I'm writing my review today because of a great interaction with an employee named Charlie! He was working today (Sunday 4/30) in the toys section and I'm always on the hunt for the newest wave of Jakks Pacific Sonic the Hedgehog toys. He noticed me in the aisle studying their selection and my phone and asked if I was looking for anything. I showed him the back of the box which figure I was missing from my collection and he scanned the barcode to discover they had some in the back. He asked me to wait just a moment while he searched and he came back with the exact one I was looking for! I was so delighted. This Super Target has a great selection and wide variety of products available in their store. The only downside is there are several areas that are cluttered very much like your nearest kleptomaniac middle school girl's closet. I understand rules. However, I know there can be exceptions to rules. So, my daughter bought a monitor from Target on August 15. She did not realize the importance of the deadline for electronics. She did open the monitor but seeing it would not work, put it right back into the box. Fast forward--I contract COVID on September 6 or thereabouts. Two weeks later, she gets COVID. Her case is even worse than mine. So, this past Sunday--four days after it's due, we attempt to return the monitor. They tell us no, Thinking, "Yes, but I can show you our doctor's excuses and that we were both in seclusion for that long (I failed to mention we share living space). Surely that will work." Sadly I was told again that they could not take it back. Because we had opened it, she would not be able to resell it. I accepted that and walked away. Now that I think about it, what IF my daughter had returned the monitor two days after buying it. It would have been opened--would she have been told "no" then? We are trying so hard to shop local--to help keep our brick and mortar stores open, but once again, Target has let me down (I was not a fan before this and now I'm really not.) Check those expiration dates--clearly that is more important than keeping a customer. I won't threaten that we will just go to Amazon from now on. But this certainly makes Target a last option for me from now on. read more

It's Target, which comes with its own expectations in relation to other retailers. A certain reputation if you will. This Target falls short in many areas in what you would hope the experience to be. I took the time to speak with a manager during my last visit and was not impressed with any answers or solutions provided. The problems at this location are long term and have not improved. Specifically, the toy section of this store is a disaster. I have spent a lot of time trying to find items to purchase here and the disorganization is disappointing, but the trash, disgusting conditions and the employees ignoring the issues is the real tragedy. The floor would be littered with items, shelves with trash, half eaten food, and things from other departments. Employees actively avoid the poor conditions by stepping over the products, ignoring the trash, and go on their merry way. I spoke with the manager and was given standard excuses of lack of employees, blah blah blah. Other departments at this location are spotless and organized. A crack team of 5 people from clothing or grocery could snap this toy section into shape in an hour, but management hasn't done it. Sad. I worked retail and if my manager had seen his, he would blow his top. I told them I have seen Ross and TJMaxx with cleaner and more organized stores. read more

Target is nice. But this location isn't exactly the best for Target standards: Parking is difficult to find, pedestrians waddling around are all over, and the store itself is messy. The worst part of this Target location is their customers: They are rude and inconsiderate. I cannot count all the times an aisle I was shopping at was blocked by a shopping cart. If you tell them "excuse me", then said inconsiderate customers give you a glare. The attitude from the customers seems to have rubbed off on the Target workers. Doesn't help that many workers seem to be on the younger, teenagers. North Austin may be considered the boring mom suburbs, but at least the people living/working there have basic manners. Parking and getting out of the shopping center is atrocious too. Messy, parking spaces are narrow, and trucks everywhere that don't understand the concept of parking inside yellow lines. Shopping here is not an enjoyable experience to say the least. read more

The curbside team has been a lifesaver during covid. I have rarely had to wait very long even during the holiday season. Also the times I have gone inside, carts are sanitized, they have masks available if needed, and sanitizer at the checkouts. Also, they try to sanitize between users at the self checkouts. Yes, sometimes they are out of things, but you should go earlier in the day. The early bird gets the worm! read more

I absolutely love this location. It's closest to my apartment and it's easy to get to. For the most part (pandemic or winter storm aside) they are always well stocked with inventory and the staff is also really friendly as well. They are definitely keeping safety precautions when it comes to COVID which I sincerely appreciate. They also have a Starbucks which I tend to visit as the other Starbucks location nearby is awfully slow. I also get my prescriptions filled at the CVS in the store and the staff there is also super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend visiting this store! read more

This Target is nice, but there's a young employee, Juan, who catfishes people here and threatens to call the cops on you if you confront him. He's done it to myself and other people that he matches with on dating apps. This employee has made it very inconvenient for me to find a target on my way home from work because I am now afraid to go to this location in South Park Meadows. I know three other people who are victims of his games. We just want to shop at Target and mind our own business, but unfortunately we are too scared to shop here because he threatens to call the police if we ever go to this location-For NO valid reason. I work at a store right beside this target and always for the past 2 years have taken one of my stores carts in to buy water and gatorade and energy drink. but the female manager today refused my services because she said it was against store policy to have other carts in store so i called customer service she is wrong it's not against any policy. I only have one hand to use and it's not like I can pack everything to my store not use their carts that lock. What a bad manager. That is no different than having a stroller or your own bags or an elderly person with a cart not walker in store so does she do this to them. If I could give 0 stars I would. I recently created a registry with Target and went in store and made purchases that would count towards not only my registry but for the welcome kit that is advertised for expecting parents. When I asked on how to link the purchases with my registry at checkout I was told that it links automatically because of me being a circle rewards member. I made my purchase on 6/13 and called customer service on 6/16 when my purchases didn't show up on my registry nor did the welcome kit coupon. I was then given a case number and told they will add the purchases manually to my registry and I should have the coupon within 24-48 hours after the phone call. Called again on 6/20 when the coupon failed to appear and was told that my ticket failed however was never notified and they didn't put in another ticket untiI called and asked. Made my final call to customer service today 6/28 as the coupon has still yet to appear on my registry dashboard. I was then notified that my purchases "did not count" because I didn't have them link it at checkout and if I want the coupon I will have to make another purchase of $10 or more. I feel severely let down by Target and their customer service due to them blaming me for this entire situation. I was told at first I didn't receive the coupon because I was not a rewards member (which I was and have been for awhile), then the second time they blame the ticket failing however failed to notify us or recreate another ticket, now we are being blamed for not making the purchases correctly. You have made me not only delete my registry now because I want none of this but I'm no longer going to Target for any purchases whether it's for my pregnancy or daily life essentials. I have never had a worse customer experience and have never been blamed so many times for an issue that was not my fault. Shame on Target truly. The optical here has kick ass customer service! I buy my contacts here instead of online b/c of my excellent interactions with them. This is for the optometry office connected to it. The receptionist is overwhelmed and very off putting. I will be switching back to my old office in the arboretum. Unfortunately the doctor working in the office is very good at her job and is very thorough. Her front office is ruining this practice. I called last week to get my prescription faxed and got told with a rude manner," I have to get off of the phone I have people in the office right now" and she hung up. I was literally five steps from the doors at Warby Parker and would have happily been put on hold until she was free- to give her the fax number. Now Warby Parker has reached out saying the office is not responding to their requests this week. Today I have called and keep getting voicemail from the office. No replies back. I will be coming to pick up my recent contacts order and will not be returning. I love in Del Valle and work two jobs downtown 12 hrs shifts. I don't have time to keep running down south just to pick up the script- and frankly I don't want to go the optometry office b/c I am going to be rude and that helps nobody. Teakettle: Want to make coffee the way I learned from being in Costa Rica at the outbreak of COVID-19. Nothing related to COVID-19: Only my desire to easily replicate an awesome cup of joe without using a saucepan to heat water and to listen for a whistle, lol! (Goodbye Keurig! Hello coffee "sock"!). - Bath back brush: With a skin condition that needs to be scrubbed where it's hard to reach, the Target helper knew exactly where to send me! - Blackout curtains: thought I'd have to make them myself - YAY Target for $ saving alternatives, minimizing alteration needs and ultimately saving me $ & time from making them from "scratch." (& Yes, there was a COVID-19 line to enter JoAnn Fabrics). - Curtain rod - yes, and thx for the selection. - Digital thermometer (cuisine) - Picked 1 up because apparently x-ray machines can wreck yours in checked luggage (brought ours to Costa Rica - it was wrecked upon return - x-ray machine? Dunno). - Sewing needs: During COVID-19, Yes they are sold out of nearly everything related. Thank you, unknown Target helper for informing me of this even prior to where you said where they "should be"! - Black poster board (not foam board): Target does not carry this item regularly. - E6000 glue: Target does not carry this item, FYI (& thx to the employee who not only knew about this product, but who knew that Target doesn't carry it, COVID-19 or not!) Target-specific during COVID-19: Absolutely delighted that the cart I used was obviously sanitized before I used it (typically & regardless, I use my own sanitizing wipes). Everyone had masks on (as a customer, can't enter the store without one; all Target employees I encountered wore them properly). Anti theft devices on carts:solid fail. Apparently the sensors are hardwired into the asphalt and the parameters in which you can pull a cart are directly in front of the store & nowhere else. We park slightly off of center about 8 spaces in & have had the cart lock up the last several times we've been, this last time directly behind where somebody was parked. So not only do you have to lug all of your stuff bag by bag to your car, however far away the cart decides you must, but then, unless you're willing to block somebody's egress, you have to drag the thing out of the way so Target's other customers can leave. It is downright customer-hostile. Obnoxious. read more

This is our favorite grocery store. In fact, sometimes we go to this Target just to hang out. My wife can get a Pumpkin Spice Cream thing at Starbucks, they have reasonably priced pizza and breadsticks deals at the mini Pizza Hut, they stock a great variety of nice groceries including boutique spices and sauces like Moles and Kormas that make meal prep a breeze. Their meat department isn't as good as say, HEB, but it's certainly serviceable, and their vacuum packed ground beef lasts forever. They have good deals, especially on the clearance endcaps. (50% off some soda from Mexico I've never heard of? Why not!) On top of that it's a Target, so it's perfect for picking up some lightbulbs or a throw blanket or a toy for a kid's birthday party. For Halloween Target put up huge inflatable Domokuns, which makes it even cooler. Style for not that much more than Wal-Mart? And I can sleep at night knowing they treat their employees better and care about design? Hallelujah! read more

I was in the shampoo isle around noon today , a very heavy associate woman with a black mask was stocking the shelves, I'm an elderly woman and was with my four year old granddaughter. I am very disappointed with the service I received today. I've never been so embarrassed in my whole entire life and the situation should've of never happened. I needed to make a trip to get some personal items and take advantage of the coupons I received via target circle app. The cashier forgot to give me my $5 gift card for a promo that I took advantage of, the cashier instructed me to go to the service desk because it was already to late to give me my gift card. I went to the service desk and explained to the service team member that I didn't get my gift card and I forgot to scan my cartwheel for $2 off Colgate toothpaste. Brie the ETL was right next to her and I explained my situation again. Instead of making it right she belittled me and argued with me about giving me my gift card and $2 off! She told me I'm not allowed to get $2 off and my gift card.Since I told her verbally I was going to return she told me "I'm not allowed to get my $5 giftcard".I've worked for target over 7yrs and I never once argued with someone over something so small. For someone to tell me the policy when I know it is ridiculous. I'm so upset and had to leave because I was shaking and then she was telling a customer who was behind me about why she didn't give me gift card which is also unprofessional. Last time I check employees don't own target or the items inside and I wasn't trying to get over on anyone. For someone to argue with me over a gift and $2 is beyond me. This needs to be fixed on this entry ASAP because there is nothing greater than a Super Target (The Super Duper Target is just an urban myth). THIS IS FOR THE STARBUCKS INSIDE TARGET. I am not the type of person to complain unless it's an ongoing issue, so here goes. Sandy. Omg. For crying out loud. If you Sandy behind the counter, be prepared to wait (no exaggeration) almost 20 minuets for your order just to be taken. I stood in line behind 3 other customers, so I wasn't expecting to be immediately served obviously. So I waited... and waited... and waited. Finally I look up from my phone, she is- I kid you not- just standing there. Standing, like not doing anything. Turns out the person had ordered a cup of coffee and guess what they didn't have ready... plain coffee. So instead of telling them that it would be a moment for it to brew, helping the next customer, and calling out their order when it was ready... she decided it was better just to stand there and do nothing. Guess that's easier. Took roughly 10 minuets to make my drink. Want to know what is in my drink? Strawberry Acai Refresher ( which is a juice they pour out of a box), lemonade (also a juice from a box) and ice. Shake it, then pour into the cup and hand it out. Literally just pour 2 juices and ice. That's it. It's at the point where if she is working I keep walking. ( side note, never had an issue with anyone else there. Turns out they decided to close early without an explanation when they say they will keep the doors open until 9:00 pm but decide to close early.
