Sure they've got coats, but they've got other stuff too? That's right. In this case you should probably forgive the lie. Nothing special really but they have decent prices and yes, many coats of many varieties. I just wish stuff was better organized and the aisles weren't so packed. This store is extremely filthy, I've been here a couple times and every single time the store is a mess. Made a couple comments about it being so dirty employees could care less. Most of them are just "hanging" clothes while talking to coworkers about their weekend plans. Merchandise wise , you can find pretty cool things. read more

I went into the store today and I probably will never go back. Their cashier was rude and talking about customers while I was at the register. I waited in line for 30 minutes, even though I was slightly irritated just like everyone else in line I kept it pleasent until the rude cashier says " I refuse to help people like that" indicating the people behind me in line. Yes they were a bit more boisterous about the slow service but really talking about customers in front of other customers. I was so irritated I told the cashier never mind and walked out of the store. I called the manager and she apologized even offering a discount but at the end of the day its not worth my time and I refuse to spend my money at a company that treats their customers in that way! read more

I bought some pants for my son in March of 2016.I was diagnosed with melanoma stage 4 cancer in March also. Burlington is what it is cheap clothes and other items but when it comes to customer service you can at least have a smile. I walked up to the register and no hi how are you nothing I just put my clothes on the counter and the sales associate just started scanning my items. The only time she said anything was my total. I love Burlington for certain things. A lot of their items are overpriced in my opinion. I loooove their name brand purses that I get for cheap though. Their jewelry is cute but too expensive. Good deals on clothes, but I have been there twice and asked to have sensors removed from a suit set so I can try them on. Both times I was told that I have to take the clothes to the front to have the sensors removed and then bring them back to the dressing room to try them on. This must be store policy since it happened twice, but it impossible to try on pants that are attached to a jacket. Customer service serious lacks in the dressing room area, the attendant was even rude. read more

The only reason I give this place two stars is for their prices and things they sell. The rest is crap. Idk how a store can be so dirty. Everything is all on the ground. Who lets it get that bad?? I've been to this store a few times. It's not my favorite store, in fact, I'd rather choose to not go there(I only went because my family wanted to). Everything seems so unorganized, and the lines to pay are always long. (maybe try opening more than two registers? This Bakersfield store was DISGUSTING! (Never have been to any other) Talk about a mess! The managers there obviously don't care about appearance! Stuff all over the isles. (floors) Shelves that frankly are indescribable - things hanging, stuffed, opened, damaged, out of place and crammed. Awful, awful, awful! This is the worst store ever. I brought a pair $800 boots from their designer show room on-line. Of course he sent me the wrong size I try to return them at the California store Hugo, the fake little security guard (he's a little pathetic joke) Lou Pita, assumed I stole the shoes help me come back to their store four times I supplied the shipping receipt the receipt that came in the box and the barcode receipt and I was unable to return them because no one in the store ever saw $800 shoes. I know this store isn't all that organized when it comes to clothing and I'm okay with that. But there are a few things that I encountered on trip there yesterday (may 1st). One was the horrible customer service, while looking through the racks of clothes two employees who were working in the section were chit chatting with one another about what they were wanting for dinner and what they had done over the weekend. Normally this type of small talk among employees of the store wouldn't bother me, but when they are talking almost yelling across 3 or 4 rows of clothing racks while I'm standing right there isn't okay with me. Also when I went to check out the women who was waiting on me barely said 3 words to me. She mumbled something when I handed her a coupon and then told me the total I owed. Never a greeting or a thank you for shopping with us, or anything. Secondary was the women's bathroom....ugh the horror of that place. I wouldn't even pee in there! Apparently the management doesn't care if their customers have toilet paper because every single stall, I believe there are 4 in total, including the Handicap stall was completely out of it. Obviously the store was aware of the issue since they're solution was to place a pack of brown restaurant style packs of napkins on the floor of every stall. Mind you the floor was wet with what one can assume is urine and the napkin packs where sitting in that. All but one of the toilets had been "clogged" by the napkins. The floors around the toilets had soaked napkins piled up, it was disgusting. Third, as if the no toilet paper wasn't bad enough, they didn't even have paper towels for you to dry your hands if you did decide to pee there. They did have the air dryer but those are so unsanitary and I'm not sure if it even worked. If I where to wash my hands I'd have to use of the the napkins left of the floor....not happening! Usually when I decide not to return to a business it's due to being treated rudely or the poor quality of food, but never before today was it do to the bathrooms. read more

They need more employees. They need workers who are happy and energetic about their jobs. The store is a mess usually and has a very stagnant energy about it... Very bad feng shui! They really should reconfigure the entire store to run efficiently for customers and employees. Burlington on California needs to step up the logistics team, making sure the displays make sense. Everything is jumbled up together, disorder, disorder. There are some very nice things in the home decor department. This store happened to have the exact item I was going to purchase online: 12 pair Whitmore over-the-door shoe organizer in white and clear vinyl. It is just like a Ross Dress for Less mixed with Factory 2U. It is messy on the inside in all sections of the store. The prices are reasonable on some items. Very poor service. My friend reccomended me this place. I have never been to this store ever before and It was my first time at Burlington's. Inside thrthe store, My friends and I came across a soccer ball upon the floor and decided to put it in its rightful place While walking with it, i lose grip of the ball and it falls on the floor causing it to roll. As it is rolling it happens to tip an employees foot. This employee warns us that "There is no playing inside the store...!" We then pick up the ball and put it away. Then my friends and I wander off to look at some clothes. We then found a shirt and grabbed it off the clothes rack pole. Then the rack pole falls off, same employee comes by and warns us again that "There is no playing". Then this employee, after the second warning, reports us to the manager. Then the manager comes up to me and asks us to leave. I was in shock, and asked her why? The manager says that we were horseplaying inside the store when all we really came here for was to shop. I refused to leave because i needed to buy some clothes. She said, I have no right to be there and gave me the worst attitude ever. she brought security and demanded me to leave. I will never go back to that store ever and i would not recommend this place to anyone. The employees are rude and the service is cheap. I love the prices and the name brand clothing for the prices- 65% off retail price !!! My only issue with the store is their isn't enough workers to help with what im looking for rather it be sizes or merchandise ,they seem to be all cashier workers .which helps at the end of my shopping but what about our visit in between??? The store needs to work on getting more department workers overall ! read more
