A routine appt for two small fillings turned into this dentist doing panoramic X-rays which were not why we went there, a consult appointment added to what should've just been an appointment to get fillings. On top of it, at the appointment to get the fillings they only did 1 and told us he had to come back again. Why? I am guessing extra $$$ to be made. We have a dentist! and this office then contacted an orthodontist and had them contact us behind my dentist's back to come in. This place is a joke, completely out of line and trying to poach us from our dentist. Do not recommend.

We visited Dr. Song for a second opinion, and she was immediately at ease. The whole staff had her comfort in mind, as did the incredibly well-curated, thoughtful space, which was clearly designed with patients in mind. Dr. Song made easing her worries a top priority and was sure to address those first. After examination, he offered a much less invasive option. The procedure was fast and painless. My daughter greeted me back in the waiting room swiftly and SMILING! I can't thank him enough. My teenage daughter is now his #1 fan and telling all her friends to see him! In addition to his incredible empathy, understanding, and talent, his office staff easily navigates insurance and scheduling. We can't thank him enough.

From the start speaking with Theresa who is a wonderful person to be super educated about the process, to meeting Dr. Song, I can't say enough about this practice. I'm going to have a root canal there. Not thrilled. Dr. Song was amazing and putting me at ease by talking to me about what is going to happen. So personable. Although he isn't doing it, they have somebody right in their practice who can do it. I don't have to go somewhere else, and I like that! The office is spotless. The staff, super friendly. If you don't have insurance, they have a membership plan that gives you proper dental care annually. Who does that nowadays? They do. They have all sorts of ways to put you completely at ease while in the chair. I think I'm jumping ship from my current dentist and moving to them full-time. Can't wait! I only can think of one downside. (Not a big one ) They don't accept care credit. Which is what I've used at my previous dentist because dental can be expensive even with insurance ! My wife was convinced that they just weren't really willing to be patient and take the time to work with him, and we switched to Coppe and Sears after hearing great things. Sure enough, our assistant Ayaz was incredibly patient with our son and spent time really getting to know him, and Dr Coppe was equally wonderful. Within a few visits he was letting Ayaz take X-rays and he let Dr Coppe scrape his teeth! We're so so glad we made the switch and so grateful to our son's new team!

Understanding the issue first and patiently listening before bringing up penalty and late fees is what sets apart quality care. Interesting thing is that we left a message on Friday and Saturday and then someone from the office also called us to confirm cancelation and since I was driving she said to call back with a new time request (when I could access my calendar). However, when we called later, we were told they didn't have "any notes". And, asked for a name of the person who we spoke to. It is not our responsibility to know the name of the front desk staff we spoke to - it is understood that someone is making a note at their side. And, if the office staff is unsure, why not give the benefit of the doubt and if unsure, why not first check with your staff, your records, your voice note? Finally one staff member did confirm speaking with us but hadn't made a note. Could have done the due diligence first instead of reminding us that we are getting penalized? Also there's a dog in the clinic that freely roams around and barked...really don't feel comfortable with that.

I called the practice to let them know we would be a little late and no one picked up, so I left a voicemail. When we arrived (15 min late), there was NOT A SINGLE PERSON IN THE WAITING ROOM, but they said they were cancelling both our appointments and would not see us. I am a health care provider at a busy hospital practice myself and I cannot imagine refusing to see my patients under the same circumstances. If PDA's business model relies on scheduling appointments with such a compressed schedule that they can't or won't accommodate any late arrivals (even as a first time event from an established patient and without anyone waiting), they obviously do not care about patients or the service they provide. While it's unlikely to make a dent in their hefty incomes, we won't be returning.
