I was scared and sick. When they came to my house,my pup was barking with all the visitors. They didn't blink and he is a big guy. By the time they got me in the ambulance, they had calmed Wilson too. The thing is, they didn't just transport me and dump me off t the hospital. They stayed with me till the Emergency Nurse came to take over. This helped. It's hard to be alone when you are not well.. I appreciated their care and kindness. Then the RN, I think Tiara? Began her professional attentive care calmed me. When you can't breath it creates fear and she was quick to give me care. Jade was already waiting to do a chest x-ray and was as kind as could be. They don't want you to drink anything, when you first arrive till they determine your care. But when you are struggling to breathe you become very uncomfortably dry. My Nurse gave me a sponge wipe for my lips. It sounds small but it so was not. Dr. Sing was terrific and efficient. Answered my questions and admitted me to the hospital. I was eligible for hospital at home because I am a senior . An excellent choice. I had been in this program before. I have asthma that can get out of control and they have been able to stabilize me before. The care you can get at home without being in the hospital is a big plus. A virtual doctor visit every day and 2 RN visits give you the support that you need without the trauma of being hospitalized. The Doctors were fantastic. I can't remember all their names but I do remember a Dr Leu and Dr Malek. There were 2 others and I am sorry I cant remember their names. The Doctors did not just give me medical directives, they partnered with me and planned with me. Very noble. Thank you. My Nurses, Christine, Michael, Joe, Sarah and Emily, all very thorough and compassionate. Even the couriers who delivered needed medicine, equipment and even food were prompt friendly and professional. I am feeling better and those partners are the reason why. Wilson Cheese made a bunch new friends. It's nice when the folks are caring for you, accept and understand your extended family. Thanks to you all.

He's VERY personable, very funny, truly cares about my well being, and wants to make sure that I am taken care of as if I were a member of his own family. The ONLY thing I recommend is trying to avoid going in for simple things that can be handled over the phone. Their wait time can be astronomical, so if you have an appointment, allot yourself plenty of time to be there so that you're not rushed. This is a VERY busy office, so keep that in mind! And of course, to maximize profit. 3) Bloodwork is done in their clinic which is convenient, but would charge additional for what is supposed to be 100% covered by insurance. 4) Will charge $30 for no-show, but will not send a single reminder either via text or email or call. I did not feel comfortable at that point receiving any medical attention from the staff. I was honestly in shock and just walked out. I went to Atlantic Care Express in Berlin and the staff was amazing. I ended up needing to be given steroids to help the swelling in my throat go down so that I could breathe. I was so embarrassed and uncomfortable, I did not feel safe. This was not the first time I've received attitude upon entering this place, I will not be returning for any medical emergencies.

Quite frankly, I felt badly about the late arrival because I was aware that between intake, cleaning/irrigating the wound, having X-rays to determine if shards of glass remained in my finger and stitching the cut would result in a late departure for the staff. From the moment I approached the reception/in-take desk, to being treated by the medical assistant, I believe her name was Jennifer, to having X-rays taken and read and finally being evaluated and stitched by NP Laurel, I left the center around 8:40. Every individual whom I encountered welcomed me warmly and professionally, put me at ease, and provided great care. Despite my numerous apologies for keeping them late, all they said was, "I'm so glad you made it here before we closed". The staff at AtlantiCare Urgent Center Berlin, NJ are exemplary. I have been receiving procedures at the Endo Center since 2012, and until now, my experiences have…read moregenerally been positive. As usual, the front desk staff were professional and courteous. Unfortunately, this was my first negative experience with the care I received following a procedure Dr.Patel and the anesthesiologist were both excellent. They were professional, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. Dr. Patel was also informed of the negative encounter I experienced afterward and was very supportive and responsive to my concerns, which I greatly appreciated While I was in the PACU recovering from my procedure, Nurse Jean attempted to assist me with getting up. I informed her that my arm was hurting and that I was unable to move my left arm\. Despite expressing my pain and concerns, I felt that my concerns were disregarded, and she continued insisting that I sit up in a manner that I experienced as aggressive and rude. I directly informed Nurse Jean that I felt she was being aggressive and rude and requested assistance from another nurse. Given that I had just undergone a procedure and was experiencing pain and difficulty moving my arm, I expected my concerns to be acknowledged and handled with greater patience, care, and compassion. Following this encounter, Nurse Jen, who assisted me in the Rejuvenation/Recovery area of the PACU, and Jan, the Director of Nursing, provided assistance. Both were very professional, attentive, compassionate, and respectful. I sincerely appreciate the care and professionalism they demonstrated following such an upsetting experience. Having received care at the Endo Center since 2012 without a negative experience like this, I was particularly disappointed by this encounter. I want to emphasize that the remainder of the staff, including the front desk staff, Dr. Patel, the anesthesiologist, Nurse Jen, and Jan, the Director of Nursing, provided excellent and professional care. I hope my concerns regarding my interaction with Nurse Jean are taken seriously and appropriately reviewed so that patients recovering from procedures are listened to and treated with patience, respect, and compassion, particularly when they communicate that they are experiencing pain or difficulty moving.
