Burlington used to be very nice and had some good deals. I went by today to go look since I haven't been in years. And oh my gosh, it has gone down hill. The floors are so dirty with splotches of stains everywhere. It looks so sad in there, dim lighting, trash and disorganization everywhere. And the bathrooms, the bathrooms are awful. At least the women's bathroom was. There is trash everywhere. The ceiling tiles are opened with wires exposed that it could be dangerous. People throwing their waste right next to the toilet it some hole in the wall, not good. Besides that, products weren't available really. They had a pretty small selection of things and the things they did have were sticky, dirty, opened, half empty, etc. Do not recommend. read more

Burlington is a great place for families on a budget. Everything from suits to baby toys. The prices are often much lower than major retail stores and quality is always good. This location is really bad. Carpets were ripped up. There were entire sections empty like the apocalypse happened. It was really strange to see a store in such bad shape. Thankfully the place didn't stink and it's in a good location. Ascetics aside it's a Burlington which is good with me. read more

Filthy!! Torn carpets, filthy covered floors, dusty displays and crud on the doors. There are zero covid 19 protocols in place. The layout is so bargain bin that I was taken aback. I wouldn't be surprised if this place was a health hazard just from air quality. read more

First time here. We went on a road trip to check it out since we don't seem to have any Ross stores here. While I did find a few things in this store, I was mortified at the condition of the store. I came because I heard they have a maternity section, which is in fact true. Sadly, I'd never heard of the brands they carried and the fabric is mostly cheap. But I didn't walk away empty handed after finding a cotton blend sweatshirt on the clearance rack for $2.98. It should be great for autumn! The baby section also has some decent things. There are plenty of strollers and car seats, though they don't seem much more cheaper than at Target or Toys R Us. They also have a large selection of cribs and nursery furniture, and other baby needs. Definitely worth a look. read more

I like this location. They have store personnel that will actually proactively greet and ask if they can direct you. Clothing is neatly on racks and not on the floor. The store is spacious enough that the racks have some space between them. Large baby section. read more

Love Burlington stores. Shop in them wherever I travel. But the Frederick, MD store is the worst by far. Actually one employee made the experience very bad. First of all the store is in such disrepair. Hundreds of Ceiling tiles are missing, water damage in the ceiling, exposed pipes and wires. Light coverings missing, exposed light bulbs. But I found some deals, went to check out, there were 9 people in line, 2 registers open. All of a sudden the one employee, said, "I'm closing my register and going on break". And puts a "go to other resister", sign up. Who allows an employee to do this and where is the store manager?! So now we are down to 1 register open with 9 people in live. Unbelievable. read more

I recently moved back to Frederick after having been away for a number of years. I used to shop at Burlington and got a couple of good deals on coats here. It is with great sadness that I must say that this place has greatly deteriorated. Firstly, it is just filthy. Floors look like they haven't been vacuumed in weeks. The paint was peeling off the walls in the dressing room and I didn't even want to take my shoes off to try on pants because of the state of the floors. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the carpeting on the main floor is unraveling and in some areas appears to be held together by duct tape. The racks are a disorganized mess and the one cashier who was working speaking to the previous customer said she didn't want to come in today but had to because 3 other co-workers claimed they weren't available. If they were smart they were interviewing elsewhere. read more

OMG.... what is going on with the burlington's around here. This was my first time here and this location needs a body lift inside. This one seem to be pretty empty regarding clothes on the rack. Everything was pretty spacious and the choices were extremely slim picking. I will not be back to this location. I stop here every once in a while to see what's new. They have a good selection of items such as discounted clothes, home decor, toys, shoes and baby items. My last good find here was a Tommy Bahama down decorative pillow for $5.00 which looks great in my guest room. I have also found good deals on baby items and toys. The store is often messy looking and they rarely have enough cashiers working. Several times I have just left my items in my cart and left the store after waiting so long to check out. They don't employ the most professional looking cashiers either. read more
