And we know the last thing they wanna do is greet more people on their downtime/break! ;-) If she's not training, she should be! Don't forget that raise! She greeted every single person who came in the doors, no other employees did that in our experience. (We were there an extended period today). Store was relatively clean and well stocked with options and super tidy! (Esp the men's shoes/dress attire). Lots of staff working their sections! Only took a star off bc half the escalators weren't working and the elevator was slow and not inspected in over a year like it was supposed to (lights/sounds not working). Hopefully both are being addressed! Our trip up and down 3 floors for various needs took **forever** waiting on the elevator when we couldn't even walk up/down some of the broken escalators. We will be returning frequently soon and hope to find what we need and receive such excellent service again! :-)

I attempted to exchange a dress that I bought my aunt for Mothers Day. When I found the correct size, I was checked out by an associate that was not helpful. She stated that I had to have the same method of payment for my exchange, the receipt and she could not look up my purchase. I informed her that previously, associates were able to assist. Slightly frustrated, I proceeded to pay for the other dress and hopes that I would find the receipt when I got home. On my way out of the store Ghita in a high spirited voice stated, "thank you for coming, I hope you have a great night". Something told me to ask for assistance and as I stated, she was able to find my purchased and refunded me with a gift card. The smallest interaction can really make for a different outcome if you just attempt to dig a little deeper, or go the extra mile sometimes. The previous associate didn't ask for manager, co worker or anything to confirm, but gladly took my method of payment. Ghita, just know. Shoppers like me, truly appreciate great customer service when everyone is choosing to shop online and have less interaction with people/human beings due to the potential lack of customer service. 10/10 Definitely recommend

I actually had perused some pairs for purchase through the app, but one of the pairs of shoes wasnt available for pick up (for free)--only available online. Since I hadnt purchased enough merchandise to get the free home shipping, I would be paying for the delivery. Umm. No. Sought option 2: see if the shoes are in store for purchase. Came to this Famous Footwear since I was in the area. It may have been my 2nd time visiting. There was hardly any foot traffic in the store, which suits me just fine. I was greeted upon entering, checked on while I shopped to help me find my intended purpose of purchase, in which was shared to me that I could order any shoe and have it delivered to my home for free. I explained that I attempted to do this through the app, but it was later explained to me that there are no delivery charges, regardless of your transaction amount, when you order through the store. Nice! I was at least able to find one pair I had already identified for purchase previously in store. I tried to see if another pair in store could compliment my needs, but it didnt happen. Decided to take a chance on the pair that iniitially caused the delivery dilemma and see how they work out once they arrive. The online ordering with the store was very smooth. They inputted my shipping info and telephone number and I was able to verify the info before it was finalized. Additionally, I was able to stack coupons for the transaction. Not only did I get the BOGO, but had earned a $5 off coupon and was able to utilize the BOGO + 15% offerred at the time. Can you say score?! One pair by themselves were $40 regular price. I ended up only paying $45 for BOTH pairs! Plus I was able to take the pair that were in the store. I was sent my tracking info for the order a few days later to see when the order will arrive. From someone who hates shoe shopping, Famous Footwear has definelty softened my stance on this statement. In fact I think Im becoming a shoe junkie because have several boxes of unworn shoes under the bed right now! A girl has to keep her shoes game tight, right? And if you like to do so while saving a few dollars, then Famous Footwear is the place to go!
