I took back an item purchased for my mom this morning. To avoid long wait times I arrive at 09:00hrs and took position two in line. The female associate who assisted me stated intimate item (bras) detached from the hanger returns are no longer accepted since and due to nCoVid19. I asked does receipt state the policy or this posted. The cashier stated no. So, I took my receipt and the items (a 3 pack) to my car. Once there the exchange did not sit right or make sense to me. I returned to the store went to the bra section a located numerous bras not attached to the hangers with the plastic insert. I took them to the register and showed them to the associate. By her premise, anyone purchasing the items would find the them non refundable. I brought this to her attention as well as the statement on the reverse of my receipt stating "If for any reason you are unhappy with the purchase, return the item within 30 days for refund." At that time this associate exclaimed, I just work here and asked me to please to talking to her. I explained that I only wanted clarity as the store practices (detached items), the policy on my receipt and lack of posting were inconsistent. Her inability to hold an intelligent conversation and explain the discrepancy cause me to requests manager. She became extremely agitated and flipped her inability to articulate or defend the policy in conversation stating she was giving me the energy I was giving her. WHAT the heck this is business. I don't care about your energy. I'm a customer and you represent Burlingtons whether you like it or not. The manager understood my concerns and points of contention. He and his assistant promptly and courteously resolved my issue. Customer service, conflict resolution, problem solving and professionalism all mirror a company's standards. This cashier displayed none. The security professional displayed greater customer service and attentiveness than this the cashier, asking if everything was alright and how could she help. Really sad. The three rating is only because I made a second trip into the store to resolve the issue. On a side note. nCoVid19 being the reason not to accept intimate returns, I hope they know there are people (men and women) who do not bathe or wear underwear or bras and return pants, shirts, blouses and dresses. read more

If it's really cold you might need one of these. But then it's called Brrrrrrr-lington. Burlington is a very popular company and sells very expensive coats of all kinds. They have some really huge locations and then some much smaller ones. This is a fairly big one located way out in the Northeast section of town right next to the highway. The whole plaza is new and it's cool that they have a Burlington here, although coats are not usually too necessary in Houston, at least not the the bulky heavy baggy kind anyway. Still it's a cool store to have up here, and if it was a little bit cheaper, I probably would give it a better rating. read more

Came to find a heavier Winter jacket in anticipation of more cold weather and snow (yes in Houston) in the upcoming week. Of course, I was waaaaay too late. There were jackets available for much smaller people (Lots of Mediums) and decently priced, but nothing for my size or taste. Since I crapped out finding a coat, I decided to look around and see what I could see. Found a few pieces for $30 bucks (that included a hat, top, and pair of pants, with a back relief brace--you know infomercial items getcha sometimes). This was the first stop in the am qnd it was splendid. No screaming, crying, hollering, and kids hiding under racks or peeping under ones dressing room door....I even mentioned my happiness to find such a quiet shopping experience. She told me that usually its quiet until 12...thank goodness I came early in the morning. Only thing I would appreciate is all tue clearance items in one area. They kind of melt into the regular price items at some point, leading to digging for certain items in some areas because the racks are full. Great place to shop, pick up a few bargains and go about your day! read more

This is a new store in a new shopping center. It's a great location and the store is nice and clean. I like that it isn't a huge store, like some I've seen. Everything is set up nicely! Everyone who shops these stores know that you can find some gems among the many selections of goods. I found an $80 pair of Levi's boots (that were saved on a Wish List online) for $35. Although my cashier was very nice to me and my kids, The manager on duty was no where to be found. I had my cashier call manager Jacinta four time just for her to never show. They told me she was on break so I waited and shopped around for a hour thinking she was done on break just for my cashier to call her again and she never showered. The managers on duty needs to do better read more

Today, I went to the store to make a return on some tops that didn't fit and as soon as I stepped in the door, their door greeter/associate berated me and raised her voice at me that I couldn't come in there because I was wearing a face shield and they only allow people who wear masks. She was very aggressive moving toward me like she was going to grab me by the shoulders and turn me around. I'm a school teacher and I like to buy clothes there because they are in the neighborhood and I they have clothes I like. I told the lady that I had another mask in my purse and I put it on standing right there but I said that I didn't think it was right that I had to wear a second mask with my shield and she told me that nobody said I had to wear two masks in a very snide tone of voice. I work hard for a living and don't need that kind of treatment. There are lots of stores out there that will welcome me shopping there especially since many of them are using the shields themselves in order to better communicate with their customers. I got my refund instead of store credit and I won't be going back there again. Even the cashier apologized to me for that lady's behavior. read more

I always come to this store but today I received some low customer service. I was already in line outside waiting with the rest of the people when the staff lets in 3 people cut in line and didn't even say anything to them. I walk in and I'm asking one of the staff members I'm returning something just incase they have some different procedure going on and she so rudely tells me to stand in line and then when I get to her she doesn't even acknowledge me and just stets complaining about how she's the only cashier there. She doesn't even ask me if I wanted my money back to my credit card or cash and just chose to give me cash. I get it that a lot of employees don't want to work during a pandemic and risk themselves but drop the damn attitude and rudeness to others that have no fault to how you feel.
