Was there this afternoon. 10 registers available and only 1 cashier working. I saw 2 managers just standing there. I left.

I've been coming here since the days when Howard Austin Feld had his shop here, when you could still park on the street and the crowd felt more local than curated. Back then, it was quirky galleries, mom-and-pop shops, and artists setting up easels by the fountains. History matters here. Originally designed in the 1910s by Carl Fisher (the same guy who basically invented Miami Beach), it was later reimagined in the 1950s by Morris Lapidus, the legendary architect behind the Fontainebleau. He turned Lincoln Road into a pedestrian mall--a radical idea at the time--that gave Miami Beach its own open-air Broadway. For decades, it was where retirees fed pigeons, musicians played for tips, and snowbirds people-watched under the palms. Today? It's glossier. Trendy flagship stores, outdoor cafés charging $9 for a latte, and enough selfie sticks to arm a small militia. The pigeons have been replaced by pickup artists--guys working the crowd like it's spring break year-round, angling for phone numbers from beautiful women in sundresses. Depending on your vibe, it's either comedy gold or background noise. But here's the truth: Lincoln Road is still Lincoln Road. The fountains still splash, the architecture still hums with mid-century glamour, and the people-watching is world-class. From models strutting past with shopping bags to a family of tourists melting under the Miami sun, this strip remains Miami Beach's beating heart.

Lincoln Road Mall is a must stop when you're either visiting Miami Beach, visiting from out of town…read moreor just to have a nice night out. There's a lot of potential to be an even greater destination spot and lots of events and activities. Live music is often played on the weekends. Excellent variety and options for food and desserts along with shops and stores and even art galleries! Most parts of Lincoln Mall are clean and almost every restaurant will offer outdoor seating while providing great service. Great destination with easy parking around and overall spot for dining, shopping and leisure and perfect to relax and people watch. Great mix of high end stores and regular boutique stores to cater to every person.

Speak Spanish then she change her tune. Today told open til 103p but at 1027 door personnel say no were closed sooner in his best bald headed machismo accenting, my Mexican husband will tell you these are both backwards representations of reverse racism that can't be condoned by coming here. I've been a total Rss lover since the day I came here from my county, fluent in English, Spanish and Tagalog with Mexipino kids. I can tell you this is effectively not a good place to go. Gave them three trips out here and two of those trips years apart has shown me this location is biased in the worst ways til they realize you speak Spanish. Shop elsewhere bc as a mom to mexipino kids, I can't possibly choose a store that supports reverse racism against half of my kids' culture.

How do you NOT notice leaving a security tag on my shoe. A light tag, on the top of a BLACK shoe…read more...with no box.... I understand people have bad days, make mistakes... it does happen occasionally that a tag gets left on (although I have never had it happen in such an obvious spot) and the couple times it's happened, I've found easy/quick solutions online. This is a $50 pair of shoes. I have been working on this tag since Friday. I needed these shoes Saturday and did not have time to go back to the store. I've scuffed up the stupid shoe at this point and cried. So this is not against the employee who checked me out; the problem I have is putting a tag on a shoe (one that clearly doesn't set off an alarm while you are AT the store...) that is literally impossible to remove. Maybe the employee tried to remove it with the actual tool and said "forget it!" This is a $50 pair of shoes at a massive chain store. I don't even want to call and deal with an automated system to end up hearing "bring it back to the store" BTW, I work in retail - a local store with ONE location, and out least expensive item is $89. No armed guard at the door either. And NO, we don't use these useless tags.
