I love Ross stores. Anywhere I travel it's a must to check out their style of garments. Considering the location of this store there wasn't much of a selection for summer attire. Not much dresses nor shorts or cute bathing suits. There was a decent selection of workout gear. Big, decently clean store. Cashiers were very fast at check out, kept their lines moving. read more

Everything could use some improvement. Especially the non- English speakers. Learning the language speaks volume. Lines are too long while facing unfriendly cashiers whom rush you out while throwing your merchandise in the bag. They don't speak because of the language barrier. Maybe waving would help! read more

This is a huge store with an elevator and second floor , that part was awesome but let me tell you what happened while shopping here , I was standing in line to use the restroom located by dressing rooms . There was 1 lady in the restroom and one in front waiting to use it . The woman running the dressing room / restroom was only allowing one person in the restroom at a time but there was 2 stalls in there . I really had to pee BAD . And the First Lady in the stall was in there shitting it up forever .. anyways, a young lady walked up , cut in front of me , kissed the employee on the cheek and walked straight into the restroom. Y'all here in Miami treat your tourists like shit . You are rude but have no problem taking our money . Was it because I was white and y'all were Latin American ? I think so . As I was standing there waiting to use the restroom I was telling this employee that I had gotten too my sun here and was very swollen and feeling unwell from the heat ... but you let your relative or friend whatever cut in front and told me you need to keep one stall open for employees? What employee kisses you on the cheek when you get to work ? I can't wait to get back to Tennessee, we don't treat people that way . Makes me appreciate what I have . Place never disappoints with terrible EVERYTHING Everything is completely disorganized, rude staff and non existing customer service. Few days ago we popped in to get a few towels for our boat since the store is located next to the Marina and had to wait 30+ minutes in line with only 2 working registers out of 15. 50 plus people waiting in line and no one bothered to open more registers while the rest of the employees aimlessly walked around. On top of everything on the way out the security told us we could not take the shopping cart to our car and had to carry everything by hand including our one year old baby. read more

Last time I visited South Beach, there wasn't Ross store in the area. If you have time to look, they always have nice things. It was cold that evening and I didn't have the right clothes, so I just went in and found and nice top. it wasn't very busy, so it took me 10 minutes from the moment I walked in until I left. read more

Yep, it's true. This store is a total disaster. There is no way the employees can possibly keep up with the animal-like behavior of the clientele who drop, and then leave items on the ground, leave clothes and empty hangers strewn all over the dressing room, throw shoes randomly on the floor and on the wrong shelves over and over, and basically turn this store upside down on a daily basis. When the customers don't care, how can the employees? We all need to do our part to help this store recover and not be the current crap-show that currently defines it. That being said, if you have hours to meander around and search through the mess, I guarantee you'll find some great deals. I got 3 Calvin Klein dresses, a Tahari suit, and designer shoes for dirt cheap. Yes I had to stand in line for 40 minutes, but I probably saved myself about $600. #worthit read more

I LOVE ROSSES but I didn't love this one. First parking was impossible. The store was a mess and the folks that worked there are RUDE. We waited in line for 40 minutes. There were 10 people in line and one cashier and naturally she wasn't happy since people were snotty to her by the time it was their turn. 4 other workers were standing around talking. I really like this store, it's always clean and organized, and they seem to have nicer, more upscale merchandise than other locations, I guess due to it being South of Fifth. Free parking (provided you don't stay more than an hour), and TJ Maxx is right next door. Their home decor section is nice and vast, unlike the Ross at Midtown. The customer service was terrible at the checkout,the cashier"Anne Marie" was rude and rasist(told me that I was not better than her becuase I am white and she is black) she insulted me, all this for a small issue, I was buying a jacket and it was missing the skirt,i didn't notice that and she told me i couldn't buy it, I ask her if an employee in the floor could help me to find the other piece,and the told me to put my attitude together, and that nobody will help me with that, that I had to find it myself. When I copy her name she told me she did not care, That i could do whatever I want that she wont stress out for that. My husband told me that we are never coming back to this place. I LOVE this shop. We all know it's hard to find good clothes without having to spend a lot of money. This place is actually about "dress for less", as its slogan says. You can find so many things here, not only clothes but some technology too. It's for both men an women, although I found that there were more options and stock for woman's clothes. Here you can find a bunch of famous brands for less than half the price! I think this place is guilty for triggering the " shopaholic trapped inside me: I literally went crazy and came home with more bags than my both hands were able to carry. They are lucky to be a tourist trap because TJ Max is right next door, and they are way better. I was very happy to find this store. They had a fabulous selection of what I was looking for (professional dresses), and especially the color I needed for work (aqua). I felt some things were a bargain, and some things weren't - as with any discount store. I got a changing room the second I needed one, was allowed to bring many items back at a time - and it was adequate - not nice or great but adequate. Parking is very easy and I also appreciate that for South Beach. I had to return some of my purchases and I was very pleased at how smooth of a transaction that was. While it took some time in line to make my purchases and do my return/refund - I have to say - the service was great, the store was well lit and I'm thankful to have had an opportunity to shop at a great discount. I did try the TJ Max next door which seemed more cluttered in the departments I was shopping (women's dresses). They had less of a selection - so I was thankful I started off with Ross and got just what I needed. read more

Always a nasty store. Horrible staff that are nasty and rude. Today we had to run in for an item and there was one cashier. One. There is a huge line and right as we walk up the "manager" tells the girl to close the register and that we can just wait. When I asked her what the rest of us are supposed to do she just glared at me and turned around. After demanding that the cashier ring us up she and the other two worthless workers who were doing NOTHING BUT STANDING AROUND yelled insults. Nice customer service! There are always long lines at Ross stores and they are always a mess and there is never enough help, that's why the prices are cheap and its not the same shopping experience as Macys. That's been my experience at all the stores I've been to including north Miami on Biscayne, downtown, Midtown, the beach and even the Ross stores in L.A! You don't go to Ross to expect to be "in and out" and if you are short on time, I suggest you don't go in the afternoon. I go in the morning and am in and out quickly. You have to go to Ross with a strategy and avoid going on weekends, esp. Saturdays. Sometimes I'l have my husband wait in line while I get my things and by the time I'm done, he's at the front. read more

Fantastic selection of clothes for phenomenal prices. I bought 8 gorgeous summer outfits and a cool toy for my son for $110!!! The lady at the fitting room was a bit cranky and the check out line was long. Honestly they have the longest lines out of the Ross outlets here in Miami at times, (Don't go between 5pm and 7pm. But the selection is always good, much better than the other ones in the area. Well although it took me a week to write this review, I think it's only fair they get reviewed. This is probably the worst Ross I have ever been to in my entire life! All clerks fighting with customers. And this is the best part, I asked a rep on the floor to clarify about a pair of sweat pants that I was thinking of buying, I told her that I was not going to take them bc they were juniors and I thought they were adults, the women tells me to take them to the registers ( I am in a dept shopping, not even close to the registers) to tell 1 of the cashiers to have them put the pants back. ( she was in a section rehanging clothes from a shopping cart she was pulling clothes out of) Can someone please explain to me why she is working if she wants customers to do her job? I am not a snob. I worked at stores when I was young, I know it's hard sometimes but I wasn't even nasty, I just told her hey, I'm sorry I'm not going to take it bc I did not realize that it was a juniors size. And she still asked me to do her job. I should have spoken to a manager but I am a better person and she probably needs her job. Needless to say, u will probably have to pay me to shop there again. They had a pretty good selection of mens' dress shirts for a good price but the service is not good. I asked a sales person there if she knew how to properly measure a neck to determine what size I needed....and she did not know. She wasn't curious to know nor could she help me find someone who knew. She did point at the security guard and he didn't know.....He shouted towards the cashiers and the one or two who heard him didn't know ....and then he said but ah!...the sizes are printed on the shirts! I already knew this information and it wasn't my question. So not one single person in the entire CLOTHING store knows the proper way of measuring someone for a shirt...but they can point out the size of the shirt for you if you like. Then the vibe of standing in line with no sound other that the security guard staring everyone down and tapping out some noise on the hand rail.
