Today told open til 103p but at 1027 door personnel say no were closed sooner in his best bald headed machismo accenting, my Mexican husband will tell you these are both backwards representations of reverse racism that can't be condoned by coming here. I've been a total Rss lover since the day I came here from my county, fluent in English, Spanish and Tagalog with Mexipino kids. I can tell you this is effectively not a good place to go. Gave them three trips out here and two of those trips years apart has shown me this location is biased in the worst ways til they realize you speak Spanish. How do you NOT notice leaving a security tag on my shoe. A light tag, on the top of a BLACK shoe ...with no box.... I understand people have bad days, make mistakes... it does happen occasionally that a tag gets left on (although I have never had it happen in such an obvious spot) and the couple times it's happened, I've found easy/quick solutions online. This is a $50 pair of shoes. I have been working on this tag since Friday. I needed these shoes Saturday and did not have time to go back to the store. I've scuffed up the stupid shoe at this point and cried. So this is not against the employee who checked me out; the problem I have is putting a tag on a shoe (one that clearly doesn't set off an alarm while you are AT the store...) that is literally impossible to remove. Maybe the employee tried to remove it with the actual tool and said "forget it!" This is a $50 pair of shoes at a massive chain store. I don't even want to call and deal with an automated system to end up hearing "bring it back to the store" BTW, I work in retail - a local store with ONE location, and out least expensive item is $89. No armed guard at the door either. And NO, we don't use these useless tags. read more

Awful!!!!!! This store didn't have a special tool to remove the alarm magnet. I bought the shoes then was forced to return the shoes. This is not what I expected purchasing a product then later not having a tool to remove the alarm magnet on the tongue of the shoe. How can sell shoes when you don't have anything to remove the magnet tag. I am not shopping at Ross again over this problem. Me and my friend came to Ross shopping for any makeup or skincare. There are no testers so we could not even see if the product was our shade or good. We also saw that some products were damaged, which was an issue. The worker were not asking if we needed assistance. We were walking around looking at everything and all of the sudden they told us to stop playing around!!! We were not playing around at all they also were just rude. I would not recommend asking them for help. I hope you find and the workers will be happier and not as depressed!. The product we got were marked down a decent amount and they did have popular brands like Lanige so that was a relief. But overall do not shop here!!! read more

This is actually one of the best Ross stores I've seen, and I've shopped at Ross in California, Nevada, and Colorado. The amount of stock this place has is insane. I mean what kind of Ross has literally 100's of pairs of the latest Nike shoes?!? My wife and I came in here while on vacation to grab a few things, and we weren't disappointed. Overall this store is amazing, it does get super busy, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time when coming here. read more

It's really hard to shop when you need to use the restroom! Asked the employee on the 2nd floor where the restroom was and she gave instructions to go to the 3rd floor. Once on the 3rd floor and at the door of the restroom I was told by all 3 employees standing there that the restroom was "closed." When ya gotta go, this run around is definitely not appreciated. Most Ross locations have so many items crammed on the racks. This one is no exception. I found a cute sundress but the belt loop was torn, and the manager would only take off 10%. I considered purchasing it and going to another Ross to see if they had one that wasn't defective, but the cashier said that discounted items cannot be returned. I am really shocked that this store got so many bad reviews. There is real value to be found here especially when you compare it to all of the overpriced no name beach crap on Collins drive. I got an "art deco" beach bag here that I received at least a dozen compliments on in a matter of days and it cost me $11. When I told people that I got it at Ross and that it cost $11 they could not believe it. I got some cute work out gear and my husband got a belt as well as a new outfit - a pair of shorts paired with a Michael Kors shirt. It looked great on him and I think was under $50. Yes the line was long and yes a few things were disorganized but I would much prefer buying designer things here than paying retail. read more

I dealt with a super nice person in the dressing room and then when I checked out dealt with one of the most rude people I have experienced since I have been visiting Miami. Absolutely rude for no reason. if you do not like job get another one. Your Miami Beach Lincoln road location is the absolute WORST. The only entrance is on the second floor and while shopping the elevator and escalator broke and I had my baby in a stroller so I couldn't take the stairs to leave the store without assistance. I asked management for help and she not only refused to help me she told me that that no employees can help me because they are liable for any accidents once they leave the store. She said "sorry, I don't know what to tell you. We can't help." Never in my life have I come across such inhumanity. Luckily an employee who was off the clock offered to help me and the manager asked the employee "are you sure?" I almost had to call the police just so I could exit your store. I just left the place so sad that the customer service is so bad in this Ross. I wanted to return some sneakers and the manager was super rude telling me in a really bad way I couldn't return them because they were used when they were bought one day ago and had I tag on it and of course never used! Not bad. Pretty much like every store. It is a little unorganized so you have to really take your time and search for the things you are looking for. Other than that the pricing is reasonable especially for active wear. They do have all sorts of name brands pretty much like Burlington. But since there is no Burlington anywhere on the beach this is a good solution. read more

Was so exited to see this two story Ross in Miami. The store employees were exceptionally rude. Being that they are in a tourist city, it seems like they should be friendly to out of towers. Javiaver checked me out, without saying one word to me, even though I tried to engage in friendly "chit chat". Just as I put my credit card in the machine, he said "next!", with the next customer breathing down my neck. Even though they were not that busy. The worst experience of my life as a client. I went to return a pair of shoes and a cashier Carmen asked me why I returned them. when I told her, because I did not like them (it's worth mentioning that I returned $ 37 in shoes but I had a $ 89 purchase). This lady with a very bad attitude threw the shoes into a drawer and she told me those shoes have nothing to be returned. When I asked her what is her name, she refused to give it to me, when I read her plaque and asked her ohh your name is Carmen? ironically she told me. Do you know how to read? my answer was direct in low and relaxed tone. "Before you started working in this country I had already graduated as business administration and accounting business, so please just limit yourself to do your job, I do not usually respond rudely because I'm a pretty happy person but when someone like you try to disrespect me this really irritates me, I don't call your manager because I have no time for person like you an believe me I do not want to make your life worse it's already enough with the bitter character that you carry for life." These types of situations are extremely harmful for business. It's embarrassing that people like that attend customers. simply outrageous. Also, when I returned to my house a new shoes I bought had a tag. When I remove it the tag start to loud. She didn't take off of them. Dirty, a total mess when it comes to sizes and poor selection. Above all, when trying to use the fitting rooms, I had 5 items who I picked up without hangers from piles of left overs from other customers and the attendant was instructing me to place it back in the hangers, hang it in a metal pole, then count by them and after trying them, to place them back on the hangers so she can count them back, like I had to do her job, plus attitude to a level that I've never seen, after calling the manager, I handed all items to her and explained why I was not buying anything there and why I am not your type of customer. She didn't care at all, hopefully this help other customers not to come to this low class mess called "Dress for LESS", less quality, less cleanliness, less organized and less customer service or satisfaction.
