Went to Target today to return an item that I ordered online. The security greeted me and guided me to the return counter. The staff quickly attended to me and process the return which took less than 3 minutes. Quick and great service. I always go to Target in this location because it is closer to where I live and its the only Target in South Beach. They always have everything I need like fruits, medicines, clothing, vitamins, groceries and a lot more. Good quality Target products which are reasonably priced and good value for money. Since target online is so terrible, I'm going to post this 1 star review to every target store as they don't have away to review their online store. To begin with after waiting and being denied access to their live agent for about 5 minutes, the agent eventually introduced themselves and said thank you for your patience while i review your chat with our AI. 5 minutes later nothing. I reiterate my need for a certain size curtain that my office mate bought from them. I had already explained I was having trouble with their search and was requesting the shoe me a couple products that cover my size needs. The live agent send me another link and disconnects our chat. It's a typical target. Crowded but a nice store on the inside. Many items are good values. Some, not so much. Staff is about 75-25 between friendly and helpful vs many spending a lot of time looking at their cell phones and not paying attention to customers. read more

Cute little urban target at 5th and Alton area. It's smol. But it's also functional. Sometimes you can find items in the shelves that weee abandoned online only orders. The clearance is tiny but has some good finds as well. Mostly the checkout is self serve, but there are friendly helpers to assist removing tags and collecting coupons/dealing with payment issues. Bathrooms are unisex separate rooms. (Just two... and clean given the area). The parking is.... Well. Don't shop for long because you only get an hour comped and the garage is 5 per hour/30 per day. Don't forget to scan your ticket and proof of purchase for your discount at the machine at the door. read more

This store at 5th and Alton is really a Target in name only. I came here to browse and see if I could get any Christmas gift ideas. Nope. I quite literally walked through every section and was out the door in a matter of just a few minutes. This Target store is small, has a very limited selection and only offers the bare minimum. I had better luck at the shopping complex directly across the street which offers TJ Maxx, Ross, Publix and a Best Buy. I realize this Target was maybe pressed for limited space, but in that case, they should perhaps consider creating at multi-level store to offer more selection. They could cut out groceries since there's a Publix a few steps away, get rid of the Starbucks and put that in one of the empty smaller storefronts in the same level as the parking garage and dump the pharmacy altogether since there are other chain druggists nearby. The one positive comment is that this Target now offers free parking for the first hour, then $5 per hour after that - so unlike some other reviewers who seemed to get stuck paying $3 for parking right away, they at least give you an hour for free. To shop in a store this small, an hour should be more time than anyone might need. read more

I came in to buy coffee & toys for my niece&nephew for Christmas. Yes, could not believe it myself. This is my local Target and while it's smaller than other Targets you mostly still find the things you need! There's a good area for produce, food, clothing, household items, electronics and beyond. Staff is mostly kind and helpful if needed. I've found some prices are marked incorrectly at times but I know that happens! Parking is free for the first hour, and after that it's close to $5. So definitely make your Target trip swift so you don't pay an additional hour. The garage is convenient. I will say the bathrooms are quite chaotic whenever I've tried to use them so maybe just avoid them. They also have a Starbucks and pharmacy in the Target. Despite it being smaller, I still end up buying unnecessary/fun items so don't let it sway you! read more

You usually walk of Targe with more stuff than you intend to. However, this Target is a pathetic exception. For one, this place charges $3 an hour parking (I guess everything on the beach has a cover charge) and has only two unisex bathrooms leaving a potential for waiting in line. The merchandise selection is very limited. Whether toys for little ones, clothes even vitamins, there was literally none to be found of what we were looking tor. I'm a local of South Beach and love that we finally have our own little Target. It's smaller and doesn't have the usual Target selection that we all are used to, but for me personally it works. I want to thank one of the managers, Dorian, for going above and beyond trying to help me with gift cards. He really took his time helping me out and made my last visit to Target personable. Was excited to see a Target opening, but very disappointed when I actually saw what they offer. We already have a Publix next door that offers way more at better prices, and multiple CVS and Walgreens down the st. We don't need a limited grocery store and another pharmacy. For such a large building I was shocked by how small it is, and how much space Starbucks takes up. This would have been a great store if they focused on everything else Target has to offer, such as their home goods, clothing, kitchen/bath, toys/games, ect. I've been to plenty of City Targets in buildings this size that are great, I don't know what they were thinking about with this one. They should have also put the Starbucks on the ground level. read more

Greeted by friendly staff, Picked up fresh produce from this location, I could tell not many shoppers come to this store for produce - a lot of salads were near expiration, and staples like bananas looked like about to go bad. Silver lining is the 4lb naval oranges and honey tips apples are superb - a nod to the Orange in Sunshine State. read more

The service at the pharmacy is horrible. I tried calling the pharmacy to inquire about if they have the new shingles vaccine before I go, good luck trying to get anyone to answer. You get placed automatically into a hold queue, you hear the staff pick up the phone and don't bother saying anything and place you back on hold. After hearing somebody pick up and immediately placing me back on hold and 45 min waiting. I hung up. It's such a joke read more

I was very excited to have a Target in South Beach, but boy was I disappointed. I've been there a couple of times and I've left with nothing except having to pay for parking in the garage. The clothes are definitely not something the local people would wear and they barely have anything for the home, just very basic things. They have more space allocated for basic groceries. There is a TJ Maxx, Ross and Publix that doesn't charge parking for the first 2 hours across the street. Not wasting anymore parking money for one store that is probably not going to have anything I need. read more

This Target doesn't feel like a Target at all. While it's new it feels 10 years old when you first walk in the store. The placement of the dressing rooms is horrible. It is half the Target of the mid-town location with just half of the merchandise. The store is actually on the second floor which is not marked in the elevators leaving many people to go to the ground floor first. Whoever designed the checkout should have to actually have to checkout there. There is no room for two strollers on both sides of the checkout which runs along the same aisle towards the exit. The parking is fine but you need to validate your ticket with another ticket which leaves you holding multiple pieces of paper in your hand while waiting for the parking validation machine. There was just one person at the checkout who knew how to run the online and in store process which says that operations from a corporate level fell down in this location. read more

This target is so useless. It has a very small selection of clothing and accessories which you'll find at Ross and Tjmax, electronics which you'll find at Best Buy, items you find at Walgreens, and groceries that you find at Publix. All these stores mentioned are literally next to target. This one is much smaller than others and every item is 25% more expensive than in other Targets. Parking is 3$ per hour. We waited for so long to get a Target on the beach and yet they could not get it right!! Like others have said we are surrounded by big CVS and Walgreens and Publix stores but yet they couldn't manage to stock this long awaitef store accordingly!! And again as others have said, the parking situation is ridiculous for so many reasons!! For starters they won't even let me drive my Vespa into the garage at all!! yet the entrance is on the third floor! And to have customers pay for parking is Ludacris!! In that case everyone will just go to Midtown where they have double the store!!! Will the general manager please talk to corporate and fix the issues with this prime location store??! If not, it might just be the first failed Target in the history of the universe and everyone will continue buying from Amazon!!! read more

Well done Target! This store has all the random things I was looking for, on a much smaller scale than the standard stores. Awesome layout, selection, and most importantly people. Every staff member I met from the Starbucks, to pharmacy, to home, were all so friendly. This store feels more like a local market than a big box store.
