I usually come here to shop for coats/jackets for winner wear and I always find a great deal. As it's holiday time I would suggest them to have more counters open at the check out. The line was so long and it took me almost 30 minutes to get my turn. Need to get more organized with the clothes to arrange them according to their sizes. Need to have more collection in men's shoes. I blame the customers more than the management. If customers were more considerate, the store would look nicer. Of course, management must still strive to clean it up. Restrooms need to be cleaned up time to time and need to have extra tissue rolls for use. Shop here only if you are not in a hurry. This was one of the worst shopping experiences I've had. There were only two registers open, while the line wrapped around the building. This level of inadequate staffing and this is unacceptable. The store was also in complete disarray, which only added to the frustration. We should not have to stand in line for an unreasonable amount of time simply because there aren't enough registers open and available to serve us. We have to do better. This type of neglect disproportionately affects communities that already deserve better service and greater investment. I genuinely regret coming here and wasting such a significant amount of time waiting in an unnecessarily long line. This needs to be addressed the staffing, organization, and overall customer experience immediately. The entire line was complaining. This store has plenty of great things but so many people walked out putting their items down . While others walked in the store saw the lines and two cashiers turning around walking out... this speaks volumes to losing customers before they ever got all the way in the store. My sister and I went to Burlington on yesterday we were followed the whole time by this man who I assumed was their loss prevention person he saw too tall, black women and he followed us. We were so uncomfortable. That I decided I wasn't gonna buy anything. The lines are always long, so I just walked out of the store. It was obvious we were being profiled. Sad part is I'm a minister. My family and I went shopping at this store and the young lady (Amira) at the register threw my daughter's business shirts in the bag so I grabbed them and folded them myself. She appeared to be mad at the number of items we had in the basket. Lines are waaayyy too long! It's crazy how long the lines are and how long it takes to make a purchase. It is ridiculous!!

This store sells clothing, home decor, and small electrical items all at a discount price. This location is extremely large. There is an abundance of empty space so the aisles aren't packed with inventory. It should be easy to get around the store if you have a stroller or a wheelchair. From what I've seen, the one checkout line extends well into the middle of the clothing aisles. Be prepared to wait in line, as the line moves very, very slow. If you have the patience to look, you can find a good bargain. The interior of the store looks like a run down warehouse and the lighting is low, which is odd. The cashier that I had was nice enough, but she was ringing me up and dealing with another customer issue at the same time. Neither one of us got the customer service that we should have. I bought a suit for about 50% less than what it would have costed elsewhere. For the money saved, it was worth it read more

I would give this location more than two stars; HOWEVER, they seriously need to clean their shoe department and they are selling a pair of extremely damaged boots. First, let's talk about the unorganized shoe department. It is outrageously messy! Shoes are not placed in the correct aisle according to their size. If a pair of shoes catches your eye, but you don't see them in your size, check every aisle. More than likely, the pair of shoes in your size are nestled somewhere in another aisle with shoes too big or too small for your feet. But be courteous and try not to walk on or run over with your shopping cart the MANY pairs of shoes abandoned in the middle of the aisles. It's like walking through an obstacle course and shoes are coming at you from every direction! Now let's talk about the pair of extremely damaged boots that they are attempting to sell instead of throwing in the trash. I SERIOUSLY thought it was a joke seeing as how Halloween was the next day and I assumed this was a trick and not a treat. These were patent leather boots with a small heel from the brand Mix It. From a distance, I thought the boots had a weird pattern. I was completely wrong. After closer inspection, what I thought was a pattern, was actually the patent leather peeling of the boots in several areas. It was bad, people. BAD! I couldn't believe they were selling them! The price of these lovely misfit boots...$12.99. That's right folks! You can take home these pair of damaged Mix It patent leather boots for the clearance price of $12.99. Act now because quantities are limited! Overall, there needs to be better management of their shoe department. Maybe I caught them on a bad day; however, I've visited this location on occasion and the clutter of shoes on the floor seem to be the norm. Visited January 2019- We have to do better! I normally stop at this location when I am leaving work, normally without a specific list in my head. On this occasion I needed to make a bathroom stop before loading up my cart. The disaster that was inside was also unimaginable at 5:00pm. There was no hand soap or tissue. So I went to find someone who worked here to let them know the state of the restroom. But I was given attitude and I'll see what I can do! Huh.. so I politely left my filled buggy and went to TJ Max to use there facility and also shop there. I will continue stopping at the Douglasville location or Old National. I don't think something as basic as a clean restroom which is stocked with supplies is not to much to ask for as a paying Customer. read more

ATTENTION MANAGEMENT: YOUR STORE NEEDS YOU TO STEP UP! Not much has improved since my last visit to this store. I only visited as a matter of convenience since we were in the area. There are really nice Burlington stores and there are some that are just not very well kept. This store is the latter, it was a bit junky and unorganized. It also needed a good cleaning and a little TLC. When it comes to shopping in particular stores, I need to have a reason to return otherwise I won't. This store did not really interest me very much and I did not venture past the hair accessories and hats. Burlington always has great hats, accessories, and fascinators. Since I had my neighbor's 13 year old daughter with me, we spent time just playing with the hats and entertaining ourselves. It was a lot of fun. These hats were over the top "church lady" hats with unique designs and colors just in time for spring. They are so cool and make the perfect travel accessory. Although I did not find one today, I know that they are just starting to arrive and I will be checking my local stores for a nice summer option. My friend was able to purchase quite a few household items and gift bags. I purchased a couple of hair accessories which are always difficult to find once summer arrives. The lady who was designated to direct customers to the next available cashier was totally unnecessary and could have been better utilized in other areas organizing and creating more inviting displays. Cashiers can just say "next please" and move the line along themselves. There are better Burlington stores north of 285 and I would choose to shop them rather than this location. I love shopping at Burlington stores but this one is the nastiest I've seen . They recently renovated their bathrooms, but they are disgusting. Nobody cleans this place or arranges the merchandise. And all you get there is attitude . Especially people at the registers. If you hate people you shouldn't be working in retail. I'm surprised they still in business , since TJ Maxx is right next door with great customer service and clean facilities. I fell in love with this store for all my accessory needs. They have a nice selection of accessories in every color you can imagine. I still love Charming Charlie's but Burlington is much more reasonable in price. You can purchase a necklace and earring set for $7.99 that may cost $19.99 at Charming Charlie's. The quality is very good and looks like it cost more than what you spent. They carry necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, garment pieces and broaches. They come in matching sets or you can mix and match to your taste and preference. Burlington is not just a coat store, they have a great selection in other items as well for a fraction of the cost in department stores, check them out! read more

Had a shopping experience there today with my mom who put a purse down that she didn't want. Ok, if you've worked retail we all know this is annoying, but the vast majority of us would NEVER go up to a customer and tell them that if they don't want something they can bring it up front, as bad as we've wanted to. Unless, we were being guided by management like Manny who knows his store is a MESS mess and is telling team members to do so, as if this will deter customers. No, it will only make them annoyed and come back in your establishment and do it again. I was in the aisle with the young lady before going over to where she approached my mother, and Lydia was throwing the merchandise up on the shelves angrily and annoyed. Ma'am, if you don't want to work what COMES with retail you need to find another gig. I told my mom to just leave it alone because she's just stupid if she didn't understand that was part of her job. When working retail or customer service, you deal with annoying things customers do FOR PAY. Anyhow, my mother asked to speak with the manager, Manny and instead of stopping what he was doing to listen to her concern, he continues moving back and forth paying her nonchalant attitude. Im just really curious to know if corporate tells them to tell this to customers or if this is a policy of this store. I've never been to a Burlington this messy. So, it just has to be this store. You can tell every customer that walks in your store not to put things where they don't go and this store will still be a damn pig sty because of the type of team members working and their attitudes and the management doing the same. The fish rots from the head. My mom did end up filing a complaint with corporate and for some reason we get a call from Lydia's supervisor basically defending the store and this practice. Sir, if it weren't for the customers that come in this store you or your two poor customer service having colleagues wouldn't have a job. So, you would think if you called a customer that complained you would apologize for the behavior displayed (even if you're not sorry), not continue to defend this absurd store policy. When asked if all Burlingtons do this, my mother was told "a select few". Laughable. Like I said, the day this happened the management here is why the employees think it's ok to treat customers any type of way. This store has some really good deals on brand name kid's clothes, especially on the clearance rack that are actually cheaper than consignment. They also carry a wide range of strollers, furniture and all kinds of baby gear at a great price. The down side is that the check outs are the slowest I've ever seen and good luck finding someone on the floor to help you. read more

Need infant or toddler clothes for under $10? Need a baby suit or dress clothes? Need baby pants or a coat? The baby section inside Burlington Coat Factory is excellent. If you want to pay $30 for an outfit, you can. The infant section is in the back of the store, and the size 3 and up is on the left hand side of the store. They have plaid shirts, suit pieces, dress shirts and ties, wet suits, jackets, some pants, some knock off logo clothing, and just as much boy clothing as girl clothing. These clothes are nice enough to give as presents, too, which is important because you want inexpensive clothing since the wee ones grow so fast! read more
