She pushed through the thick scent and still browsed the cute clothing in an attempt to fight off the nausea by keeping her mind preoccupied. Drove to Pembroke Gardens to check out this store since the wife loves the Altar'd State clothing line, but the overpowering scented diffuser finally won the battle and we left without a purchase. Prices of the long floral dresses were high and 50% less on Amazon. The staff was very friendly, weekday parking was plentiful and the store had a large variety of clothing.

On this particular night, we decided to check it out. My daughter has been shopping more so she this place caught her eye. Altar'd State has a primo location at one of the main corners across from Lululemon and Cheesecake Factory. This is a high traffic area and an ideal location. They are opening a Crema Gourmet right next door where it use to be a Starbucks. The store exterior and interior are quite stunning with beautiful decor. This is mainly a woman's clothing store and also carries accessories, jewelry, hats, purses, formal dresses and a huge section for clearance/sales in the back area. Altar'd State also has one of the most beautiful dressing rooms I've ever seen! It feels super bougie and beautifully designed with a lounge chair right in the middle of the dressing room space. There are plenty of dressing rooms. The prices here can be a bit expensive, but if you find the right sale or clearance item, it's fairly affordable. They have the funniest hats and lovely sweaters. I wanted to get the "Sorry about my Husband" hat, but not sure my husband would appreciate it. Lol.

I was looking for cool dresses for work and she wanted to see the jewelry. I tried a sleeveless dress on in a rust color. It was the type of fabric that travels well and doesn't wrinkle easily. I liked the fit and style but would prefer it in another color. I liked that they have some classic pieces in crisp white. Ithey also had a nice selection in turquoise and in yellow. I'm going to have to stop in this store more often. The sales staff were warm and helpful but not a bit pushy. It's located just doors up from Soma. You will be glad that you stopped in.

I love the vast selection offered and the colors are beautiful. So crazy how workout attire has become just a big craze! But then again, if I could live in workout attire, I probably would. Athleta is located smack dab in the middle of The Shops at Pembroke Gardens. You can find Athleta next to the new Kendra Scott and across from Victoria's Secret. It's quite a large store and everything is laid out so nicely. Check them out.

They have some name brand retailers along with some lesser-known more boutique style stores. I really enjoy coming here on a Friday or Saturday night and listening to the music at Brimstone. The area is very walkable. Most drivers are courteous when you cross in front of them and they yield to you. In an Ideal World, I think Pembroke Gardens should have an automatic covering for when it is super hot or rainy. That is the downfall of this shopping mecca, several months of the year it is just not fun to come here because of the weather. Parking is another issue. I really wish they would build a parking garage because there is usually a problem finding a parking spot on the weekend. That just puts me and then annoyed state of mind when I'm going to a fun place. Definitely come to Pembroke Gardens when you want a fun and memorable they are night out.

I had been receiving e-mails from this company for a while, even though I never stepped foot in one of their stores. That is because...well....I receive e-mails from a LOT of companies. I sign up for e-mails, new product notifications, etc. So, that is on me. Anyway, this store is lovely. They have it set up really nice. The store is organized well. They have some fun jewelry and other accessories. The clothes are not exactly my style, but I still appreciate the high quality and the nice design of them. I could see myself buying some fashion jewelry for myself and for gifts in the future. I really enjoyed just browsing because the items are not crowded and for some reason, it relaxed me. I wish them success now and in the future.
