While the food was excellent, the service was a little questionable during our visit. It wasn't unfriendly, but it felt inconsistent and slower than expected (the ignored us after the food was delivered and nobody responded when we stood to leave), which kept the experience from being perfect. Fortunately, the quality of the food more than made up for it. If you're looking for a delicious, well-prepared tenderloin in Burlington, the Boathouse is definitely worth a visit, and I'd happily return for another sandwich. The breaded mushrooms are outstanding.

There aren't enough tables and aren't enough parking spots. Had to park across the street. The food was good, although my order was messed up. They fixed it with no issues. It just took a really long time, again because it's too small to handle the amount of business they were getting. A good problem to have I suppose, but they may need to make some decisions soon about what they want to do with the place.

Slice was pepperoni and fresh mushrooms, NY style. Delicious. (Took a bite before I took the picture). Meatball sub was very good with good crunch on the bread, and nice melty cheese. Meatballs were really good, and sauce was very tasty. Lunch partner had the Philly cheese steak. Said it was piping hot and very tasty. Came with a cup of melted nacho cheese on the side. Service was quick and very attentive. As regulars know, it is cash only. Will be back sooner than later this time.
