On February 1st at 8:50pm, my husband and I were shopping and saw mice running around the isles of Burlington. Then my husband reported it to an employee and that employee seemed nervous and said "yes, they always come because of receiving I am always seeing them here. I told them about it but they never do anything about it." Make sure that if you buy from this Burlington you don't bring yourself or buy yourself a pet mouse. Also I wouldn't recommend buying any snacks or food from this Burlington absolutely disgusting. Ps. Disgusting and disappointing! Went in to grab one item and took a stroll around the store. There is a variety of items around the store but most of the packages are open and thrown all over. If you are to buy anything from here I would check to see if the items you are trying to buy are in the package. With my one item, I waited for over 19 minutes in line. The entire check out line has tons of items that people tossed on the shelves probably out of frustration of waiting in line and tons of open packages and food -- I would be very very careful buying food from here, there was a lot of open food items for sale. read more

The customer service in this store is terrible!!First the Greeter at the door didn't even say hello back when my sister and I repeatedly said hello to him a few times. I then asked him what time the store closed and he said 11:30. I called before I came and the announcement said at midnight. I asked other reps in the store to confirm and was told midnight. I have been at this store a few times because of the late closing but today I felt rushed as if they wanted to leave. As I was shopping an announcement came on at 11:30pm and specifically said they were closed and only 2 registers opened. Check the camera on 10/5/21. I love shopping at Burlington since the clothes are fairly cheap. This store is not so organized and it's very hard to find an employee for help when you have a question because no one is around. However, they have a lot more dresses and skirts than the one in Fairfax. Their clearance is huge but the sizes are all over the place so it would take me extra time to look for my size. The fitting room is all messy and stinky. They should've cleaned up the room once someone is done trying their clothes in there. The check-out line was long but they did have a lot of cashiers so it moved moderately quick. After all, I did find some cute clothes and the price was cheap. I would've spent less time if they were more organized with the whole store. Tip: definitely check the clothes to make sure there is no hole or mistake before you purchase. read more

This store has great overall variety. But I wish the toddler girls clothes had separate shirts, pants, and skirts. The sets are nice as a gift. But my twin toddlers often times wear a one size on top and a different size on bottom. It also would be nice if they had a toddler pajama section. read more

I'm a huge fan of big deals and normally buy my clothes at places like these, but I'm totally shocked at how crappy this one is. I mean, Potomac Mills Mall is ginormous and for this location to have such a terrible selection seems stupid. Everything is out of order and all the sizes are jumbled up, even more than I've seen at other locations. There is stuff all over the floors and I don't think I've seen one associate walking around the store in the whole 45 minutes I've been in here. It is, however tax free weekend, so I'll give them a break but I don't think I'll be keeping them in mind for my next shopping excursion. read more

It's your typical BCF with all of the pluses and minuses you get from BCF. On the plus side, you have a nice selection of name-brand clothes at great prices, and a wide variety of sizes. On the down side, you've got product mixed all over the place with little rhyme or reason, and an unenthusiastic service staff. I agree with all of the other reviewers that sizes are mixed all over the place. I disagree that it's worse than any other BCF - every one I've been to is like this. At least it doesn't smell bad in here ... I've noticed other BCF's (especially the one in Gaithersburg) has a musty odor. It smelled mostly OK here. read more

When the security tags are so prolific and horribly placed that you can't actually try anything on, it makes it impossible to shop. They definitely lost sales today because I refused to repeatedly wait in line for them to move the tags (with only one cashier on duty). Store is incredibly disorganized and messy. Clothing and other products are a mess and it's really difficult to find what you want here. Many different types of shirts would just be hanged randomly in multiple racks, not according to style, brands, or size. The signs are wrong and should be updated. I went to the sign labeled sportswear and I find jeans. The stores appearance needs to be improved as well. I see cracks and holes in this building. However one good side is that if you truly looked for a long time the price here is cheaper, but that is only if you can find what you want in this mess. read more

Ultimately the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I came in at 9:00 after work, fully aware that they close at 10:00. I was looking at their shoe section, which was very disorganized. Shoes with different sizes were in all the wrong sections. After about 15 minutes of trying on various shoes and straying around the aisles, one of the employees there had asked me "are those your shoes on the floor over there?" I responded "yes" and he told me "don't leave your shoes on the floor, we are cleaning up and are about to close". WOW. OKAY, I understand you want to go home asap like everyone else, but I have 45 minutes to shop. So I asked him "What time do you close? 10:00, right? That's what I thought, so I still have time to shop, thanks." It's not like I was throwing shoes around either. I had my shoes and the pair I intended to buy right next to each other. How ELSE am I supposed to try on other shoes if I don't take off my current ones and place them on the floor? I browsed a little more and noticed he was following me around, as if to make sure I wasn't making a mess. I decided it was time to check out, and only 2 registers were open that late. As I walked up to the register, I said "hello" to the cashier. She didn't say anything, no smile, no nothing. Fine, maybe she didn't hear me. She rang up my items and just stood there, waiting for me to swipe my card. I just stared back at her, and all she did was point to the card machine. She bagged my stuff and didn't say "thank you", "good night", no type of "bye". It was the most silent transaction ever. What kind of customer service are you offering by not saying anything to the customer, or even smiling? Her whole body language said she didn't want to be there. So I just grabbed my stuff and marched out, being as rude as I could back. I had had it with them. Unless you're a "get in-get out" shopper who doesn't need to make any interaction with the employees, this place isn't worth your time. You can find all the same type of clothes at T.J. This is a really disappointing experience. I was waiting for a really long time to checkout, when it was my turn I went to the next available cashier, but was directed to another cash register further down which did not have any cashier on that line. So instead I expressed my frustration to the cash register closer to me and asked them if I could just wait at her register until she was just done with her current transaction. No response. Since I didn't receive a reply instead the cashier just ignored me. I just put my stuff in front of her after she was done so she had to ring me up. Out of all the Burlington locations in the No-Va area, this location and Bailey X roads have the best merchandise availability and selection, especially the wide array of sizes available. The key is to shop here early in the day and early in the season; this is when you will find the greatest selection of merchandise. Also, try to avoid shopping here on holidays and weekends when these locations are overrun with shoppers throwing clothes everywhere. Like any off price retailer, you have to keep an open mind and be patient...You might not find what your looking for right away, but if you keep searching (or in some cases digging) you will discover that unbeatable bargain. read more

I used to love this store until yesterday. I was accused of shoplifting because the rude employee wouldn't turn around to see where I put my other items that I didn't want. I didn't give the lady at the dressing room any reason to think that I was trying to steal either. I did NOT have a purse or backpack with me. I was carrying my belongings in my hand. I was also wearing a windbreaker jacket (which is very thin) that wasn't even zipped up. Idk how I would be able to steal a bra that way (because that's all I came in there for and went to try on) let alone 6 (that's how many I went back there with and I put the ones I didn't want on the rack that they have when people don't want certain items) but this woman thought I was trying to take them. Thankfully she finally wanted to listen to someone rather than to yell and saw that I did in fact put the items back but I never got an apology for this woman causing a scene.. there's a right and a wrong way to have handled this situation and this was definitely the wrong way. read more

I've been to Burlington plenty of times and its almost always the same. Good prices for the bundle of clothes you are getting and really long lines. I usually feel like I have found a steal until I get to the line. Lol. Then I just think... Ayi yi yi. The first time I went to this Burlington several weeks ago I thought I had found my spot. A good selection and no lines. But when I went today I left somewhat disappointed. They had almost no sizes. And the baby depot left something to be desired. Then when I got up to the register the cashier sent us over to customer service that was supposed to be open. When I got there the woman at the counter (clerk) was going through her purse. I thought ok... I'll wait patiently for something that should not be done "here" ,at the counter. She looked up at me and said hello twice while still going through her purse. LOL. 3 or more minutes after she decided to put her bag away. Then after that it was time to start ringing up my order. Hmmmm .Ok are you ready? LOL.
