We had a very positive service experience in the shoe department. The sales associate was helpful and patient, grabbing us a few similar boot options to try, beyond what we asked for. She didn't mind that we put the boots we loved on hold and came back to purchase them before leaving the mall. We made sure that she got credit for the sale. We had a great experience in the mens' denim department as well - the employees were really helpful in explaining the styles and sizing of the various brands. We also purchased a bag in the contemporary section - the sales associate there was actually pushy and salesy, not someone I'd normally want to work with or support, but we needed the gift so made the interaction short and moved on. Overall we enjoyed our shopping experience at Nordstrom, and we'll definitely return when we're in the area. If you don't live near a Nordstrom, they offer free shipping and free returns. And their customer service across stores is almost always top notch.

The pickup area is just a computer and the staff that pointed me out here was pleasant, and then we waited for a bit as they were all busy staffing the registers. Eventually another staffer came over and handled our pickup order but she seemed rather dour compared with the greeter at the door who was much more positive. Items in stock - check. Pickup - relatively smooth. Store did smell a little bit strange, but maybe it's all the random materials and items there (was looking at some brick wind chimes, wicker baskets and other decor). Definitely some challenges with quality control - some items were already chipped and cracked while on display, others looked great. I've been to another location and they were much better organized. Lots of furniture, though, so perhaps I'll have to dig more into that (though, yes, they are more expensive than Ikea, but less than Macy's). A nice thing around the holidays - various treats from around the world show up in stock that you can get to surprise as a little holiday gift for folks. I'll come back to see what else they have.

T&M female customer service was completely inaccurate. I explicitly told her it's 3rd floor but steps on each flight is just a couple steps. She quoted me $100 for delivery 12/31. This unprofessional guy showed up with his daughter or something, told us we needed to pay $140+ because of the stairs. We only had $100 cash, and told him the lady told me $100. He called the lady for her to tell me what she thought our conversation was... as if to solidify that was correct? He acted all tough and so ghetto and we didn't want any problems so my husband told him he'd need to go to ATM after. This guy and this little girl hoists the sofa up, and then tells us they can't fit the couch in. I told my husband to make sure they try the most optimal angle. and I over hear him on the phone telling my husband that he already knows what I am saying and he knows better. He then hurries my husband and tell him it's NYE and he's not even supposed to be working and he has a long drive. How is that our problem that you decided to work and drive long on NYE? He told us he'd leave the couch outside for $100 flat or he can take it back to the store but still pay him the $140+. He insinuated he's doing us a favor and that he's losing out. And my husband rightfully told him that isn't the case because he's getting $140+ while we don't get any services rendered/no couch. He was very aggressive towards my husband. My husband told him he needs to go to ATM, and the guy told him he will follow him to the bank with his truck because he doesn't know what stunt my husband would pull on him. A week later, I come back home, and we bought the same couch from a different Big Lot's location... guess what? We were able to maneuver the couch inside the home ourselves, just with logic, physics, and common sense. This was the most unprofessional ghetto conversation we've ever had from any servicing or trucking company.

Wife, kiddos and I did some shopping here recently for some pool supplies and arts and craft supplies for the kids. Since the oldest is 18 months, we were looking for cheap art supplies like markers, paper, paint, glitter, glue, etc... We didn't care about quality! Inside is neater and cleaner than most that I have been to! So that is a great positive! Staff is also friendly enough. I don't think that I have ever been to one where the staff cares how the aisles look or if everything is where it is supposed to be... And this place is no different! People put things back wherever they feel, I admit I misplaced a few items as well. Most of the items we didn't want we gave to the cashier. They had just about everything that we were looking for.
