Much of our building was also environmentally sustainable, using local materials, with attention to floors, lighting, windows and insulation. Mr. Macivor was easy to work with, flexible, collaborative and creative and was able to envision our thoughts and dreams to design and build a truly amazing space. Autumn and his talented crew have provided remodeling and construction services on two homes I own in the area. One project was an extensive and complete master bath remodel that included design phase, moving walls, cabinetry, plumbing, tile, electric, etc. The other project was the complete re-engineering of a large deck requiring new piers, bracing, new substructure, railing and stairs. What a great construction firm. Autumn was recommended to us by a local architect who designed a straw-bale studio/workshop for us. I was pleasantly surprised at the willingness to work with us on such a unique project. Autumn milled us lumber from his own trees, even. The result of such care and finesse is a wonderfully quiet, natural-feeling structure that maintains its temperature and has plenty of natural light. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. We hired Autumn for the post and beam installation for a new house that my wife and I are physically building. We met Autumn as one of the volunteer fireman that was training on a learn-to-burn exercise to demo our existing house. He in return brought Matt from Ashland Post and Beam. The two of them tackled our project with a high level of experience and carpentry craftsmanship. I can't say enough good things about Autumn and his crew of impeccable workers. I first hired Autumn to re-do my entire bathroom. It is amazing and the details on the cabinetry is a work of art. Basically, if I had a choice, I would sleep in my bathroom it is so lovely. I then hired Autumn to re-do all the siding and flashing on my 1895 home in Ashland.
