We searched Medford for cabinets to flank our fireplace and finish our fireplace wall. We were…read moresomewhat disappointed about our options. We stopped into Heart of the Home one afternoon and spoke with the owners (Lisa and Rod). We decided to go ahead with a quote. It was only a few days before Rod and Tye (the installer) came to measure for the cabinets. We met with Lisa in store to decide on the layout, style and wood for the cabinets. She was able to lay the cabinets out on the computer so we had a good visual of the design. Lisa quoted us separately for the different woods. Which was very helpful. She spent quite a bit of time discussing our options (much appreciated). We decided on Alder with quartz countertops. We ordered the cabinets and it was about six weeks before Tye installed them. Tye is such a pleasant young man and very precise. Our cabinets are top quality and are installed with precision. The countertops were installed today. We are so happy with the cabinets! Thank you Heart of the Home for making this an easy process and thank you for your professionalism. We highly recommend Heart of the Home Cabinets.

Called them Monday for what looked like some major water/leak issue. They quickly got me scheduled. Corey called while on his way, showed up prompt and on time ready to work. He quickly assessed and evaluated the issue and got things back on track. The $112 service call paired with great expertise and quick service is what keeps these guys #1 on my list. No need to go anywhere else for HVAC needs.

It has been needing attention for a few years. Somewhere requesting help the on job a estimate it was labeled Diagnosed fee at the cost of 159.00 without notify of the cost. I attempted to understand the billing on the telephone and in person but was not successful. I requested an appointment with the owner for additional conversation but as of date nothing scheduled I was informed that the invoice will be turned over collection in 30 days. More in a moment. Checking Nathen Perry web page it reads. Free Sercvice Estimate If you need to repair or replace your HVAC system, call today and talk to one of our specialists. Free service estimates are more than just cost assessments--they're an invaluable tool for building trust, encouraging transparency, and creating better customer relationships. For our customers, they offer peace of mind and the confidence to make informed choices. For our businesse, they represent a chance to stand out, demonstrate value, and attract more clients. In the end, free estimates make it easier for both sides to approach projects with clarity and confidence, laying the foundation for a successful service experience. My confusion remains and am giving them money to end dealing with this company and spend my time on a better place.

Our fabulous general contractor, John Schull, recommended we go here as well as a couple of other places. We looked at their display and found a couple of possibilities. Henry Basilbird Cisio, the owner's grandson, was helping us. He said, "Let me do some research and see what I can find." Two business days later he emailed us the perfect natural stone veneer. Now THAT is great customer service.

I purchased rock for landscaping from a local company in Phoenix, OR. Leave Your Mark When I started working with them, they were extremely nice, helpful and accommodating, I was excited to write a rave review to them after our transaction was completed. Then they delivered the rock. It was full of dirt. The owner Pete, personally came out to our house to see it for himself. He was mortified and very apologetic. He said he would pay for the time my landscapers spent cleaning the rock. He said they would pick it up and deliver new, clean rock next week. This is where it goes bad... he calls me later to say, you can have it free if you want to rinse out the dirt. I agree, unwillingly. He calls back 20 minutes later to say, actually, I will pick it up. Come to find out he sold it. So he would rather go back on his word for $145. So I am not very pleased with him at this point, so I said take it back. He is now not sure he can deliver clean rock next week. When his employees picked it up, they gave me a hard time saying the rock was perfectly fine etc... pretty much being jerks and they end up selling it to my neighbor (which I am glad she got it for a good deal, no delivery fee.) Pete, the owner walks away without paying for the landscapers, he promised to pay. Conclusion- ACCOUNTABILITY, I cannot say it enough. As nice as this local company may seem, be careful of their promises. They do not tend to keep them. I felt lied to and I was accused of lying. When he dropped off the money, he said to Ross, "I am not paying for the landscapers to lay down the weed cover." So he shorted us $20. Note... the landscapers had the weed cover laid down over a week ago.

We own a Mahar home, built in 2005. This spring we noticed that the bathroom wall was wet and the…read moredrywall was starting to disintegrate. I called three tile and bathroom repair companies. All said the same thing. Our show was installed incorrectly when the house was built, and it wasn't draining properly. We hired a company to repair it, which required tearing out the existing tile to see what was going on. When the tile was removed, we found 6 inches of mold sludge under the tile, sitting in the shower pan. It has not been draining for 14 years, and created a toxic soup of mold and filth. The mold had crept up the walls, eaten away at the subfloor, and started to degrade the floor studs. Everything had to be removed. The studs were treated for mold, and the shower had to be completely rebuilt. The shoddy workmanship and improper construction from Mahar, ended up costing us $12,000 and gave me allergies for years. Now that the mold is finally gone, I'm much healthier than I have been since we moved into this house! Today we called someone to look at our sprinkler system that has been acting up. He confirmed that the valves and pipes would need to be replaced because they were installed wrong when the house was built! Again! The shoddy workmanship and improper construction by Mahar, is costing us money to fix. $800 this time. I've just written to them asking for reimbursement for these expenses, since I shouldn't have had to re-do the work they should have done right to begin with. I doubt seriously that I will hear back from them. I would NEVER buy a Mahar home. The look beautiful, but are slapped together by amateurs, suing cheap, flimsy material. I've seen cereal boxes with more solid construction. DO NOT have Mahar build your home. You will regret it.

I understand, homes have wear and tear, but a fireplace should last for years and years. We called and they basically said "tough beans" since the house was built more than a year ago. That is only the most recent issue. We constantly discover things that were done with shoddy workmanship and terribly poor craftsmanship. Will never never never buy a home built by these people again. In fact my husband is going to meet with the Jackson County Homebuilders Assoc to see if there is any recourse.
