We had pepperoni pizza, steak salad, and ziti, wings, and fries.. The pizza was okay but pretty greasy, the salad had very little steak and was a ton of spinach. The Ziti was macaroni with prego and 2 melted string cheese sticks. We were sat at a dirt table, waited over an hour after ordering for our food, and had to ask multiple time for water refills. Our server checked on us twice the whole time and offered a pitcher of water and never brought it. We had to ask for forks, and plates from the food runner. Twice 2 other tables were disgruntled and complaining about service and one waited over 25 mins to be greeted. A third family came inside from eating outside with 2 small kids and sat at a dirty table to finish their food because of the bug's swarming them outside. The place was super cute inside and we had high hopes with the reviews we read but we won't be back. read more

We live near Portland and have stopped here not once, not twice, but THREE times! Every single time they are closed! Seriously? Got here during a lunch rush, and got my pizza in 23 min. They had some orders that had 4 pizzas in one order. It pains me to update my review from 5 stars because their pizza was really tasty but for over a year now, pizza orders have been really hit or miss. & the misses are by miles, we are talking RAW pizzas. Cheese is definitely not cooked through, dough is....well, just doughy. Thin-ish brick oven pizzas take mere minutes to cook, & this should not be an issue with a pickup time of 30+ minutes. I am sad about it bc there aren't any places within a half hour of driving that had their original pizza quality. read more

This was by far the highlight of the day. Imagine just pulling off the highway through an industrial area and finding this magical setting in the old town railroad depot, across from an iconic river tug with a view of the Columbia that has a wildly creative pizza menu (seriously the coolest pizza types I've ever seen and we are from NorCal), and the best beer I had in Oregon. The server was quick and friendly and knew her history and checked on us even though we were 200 feet away out on the lawn. The service was great, our waitress filled the drinks several times and got us all the things we needed including a candle to take to our campsite for my husbands birthday cake. The only slight problem was there was a lot of flour on the bottom the pizza (to prevent the pizza from sticking to the pan) and it tended to get everywhere, but other than that had a really great experience. My wife and I LOVE the pizza at Double Mountain Brewing in Hood river. We were really hopping that this would be a good substitute, but sadly it doesn't come close. I won't say the pizza is bad, it is just...wrong... The whole wheat crust has an odd taste and texture, there was too much cheese to the amount of toppings, and almost all of the pizzas had either poblano peppers or chorizo. These are not the kind of toppings I look for in a pizza. A good stone fire pizza is well balanced, and has a lot of great flavor. Ours just tasted like cheese with peppers with that odd crust taste. I also tried three of their IPA's, they were all very simple and watered down, there was also an odd taste that I can't place. Maybe it is the water in Boardman? I also had their Coat Hanger Stout, that wasn't bad. My wife said it had an odd taste, but I didn't notice an issue with it. If I lived in Boardman, I would consider going again to try building my own pizza, but it is definitely not worth driving from Hermiston for. read more

Beautiful spot on the Columbia River with tables scattered outdoors on the grassy lawn with shade trees. Friendly staff and delicious cold beer on draft. The salad was fresh and plentiful. The pizza had interesting topping choices like poblano pepper sauce, sauteed onions, garlic cashews, and a long list of delicious options. This is a good average place to grab food. I was working so didn't try the brews but they had a decent menu selection at a fair price. You get a very fair portion for what you pay for and the quality of the food was good. I had the steak salad and my coworkers had pizza which they all said was good. Everything about this place is the best. The pizza, the drinks and the location. It also helps that the atmosphere is very laid back and the employees are awesome to talk to. They have 13 drinks on tap and 4 of them are from the local brewery (Ordnance Brewery), and you can take them to go in a growler. I highly recommend this place. read more

The food wasn't bad but the service was horrible. The bartender was extremely disrespectful about the drink I ordered, and when she gave it to me, it wasn't even full, and was incorrect. On our tab, she charged us for the wrong alcohol, and didn't attend to us at all during our time there. Every time we needed something we had to be the ones to flag her down. Loved this spot! We stopped to meet a friend who was a Boardman local and had the most fun time outside in the courtyard. Pizza was amazing (the German? This is the coolest little place you could imagine during COVID stuff. They have a HUGE yard with grass and a bunch of tables where you can hang out all day/night, drink very good craft beers and eat pizza. The wings are great too (we went with sesame garlic 3 times!) Thanks Burnt field! read more
