I sent my daughter to pick it up, and she ended up waiting another 45 minutes past the promised pickup time. After finally getting the food home, we discovered that several parts of our order were completely wrong--including substitutions that we had specifically requested and paid extra for. We had also left a generous 20% tip when placing the order. Mistakes happen, especially when a restaurant is busy, so we called simply to see if there was a way to get the order corrected. What happened next was honestly worse than the incorrect food or the long wait. The manager wouldn't even take our call. We could actually hear her in the background complaining about us and saying she didn't have time to talk to us. We weren't yelling or demanding anything--we were just trying to get the order we had paid for. We tried calling back twice afterward and suddenly got nothing but a busy signal, which certainly made it seem like the phone had been taken off the hook rather than dealing with the situation. That's the part that really bothered me. I've eaten here before and actually think they make pretty good BBQ, which is why we chose them for our family dinner. A 45-minute delay and an incorrect order would have been frustrating but understandable. Refusing to even speak with a customer about the mistakes--and openly talking about them within earshot--is a completely different issue. We spent good money, tipped well, waited patiently, and weren't even given the courtesy of a conversation about fixing the order. Really disappointing experience, and unfortunately I don't see us coming back.
