Lol!!     In business for over 30 plus years Burrini's is family owned and operated by some of the coolest people around. Service is mostly friendly but I do gotta note that some of the staff seem like they're a little grumpy. Maybe just because my last visit I stopped in here on a Monday who knows, whatever, doesn't matter I always get what I come in for plus prices are very reasonable for all of their quality food items they have up in here. New owners are trying to revive what was once a thriving business. The Burrinis ran it into the ground and it's hard to come back after that. The new owner, Steve is a nice man. But some things have gotten past him. I had a chicken bone in some chicken salad last week and an egg shell in some tuna mac today. I've had them make a sandwich completely wrong and also tell my daughter they had no tomatoes. All of this adds up to a bad feeling. The employees are actually nicer than they used to be and seem happier. But the other thing is that the prices have gone crazy there. A sandwich is now almost double the price it used to be. You can get the same food at A&B, which is about 100 yards from Burrini's. They need to tighten things up. read more

Finally found Mortadel with pistachios in the Deli ! Dry scallops are the best ! Prepared Ziti and prepared Stuffed Shells are a great for a quick " What's for dinner? ". Chef salad is no slouch either! read more

Burrinis is a place we return to often. Great selections in deli. Love the Turkey London Broil and all the other typical deli products. Their frozen foods are excellent for dinners or sides. I found Burrini's this morning after driving up to the area for a transport. I was hungry and looking for something before my 45 minute ride home. I was quickly served at the deli counter ordering the grilled chicken/mozzarella/roasted red peppers/balsamic on a hard roll. I also picked up a single serve of their homemade Cole slaw, a black n white cookie from the bakery, and Stewart's black cherry. Stopped by a park to eat. The sandwich is a good size. Delicious and fresh. Same for the slaw. Ate half of both. More for later. I would go back and try other items. Friendly service. read more

Went way down hill in last six months. Bakery goods stale, produce wilted and not fresh, and prices way up. Used to be good but not anymore. Figured I'd be safe ordering sandwiches for a lunch for a group of people but no one picked up the phone and I was on hold for over five minutes so I hung up. read more

Burrini's Old World Market is an independent mom-and-pop butcher shop, deli and specialty market that is a great addition to the community where it resides. There was a good flow of people when I was there and everyone seemed to be in a good mood and the atmosphere was friendly. The layout of the store is also pretty inviting. I have always been a fan of butcher shops and honestly I'm amazed that a lot of people will just blindly accept whatever their supermarket is offering when you can often find a better product for about the same cost at an idependent shop such as this. Maybe it is that some might find it an annoyance to go to multiple shops. I don't know, but I have always enjoyed these little specialty markets and I feel that the quality is not only better, but that I am helping my local community by shopping at the independent mom-and-pop businesses. Fair food and very overpriced. They stick the meat with metal probes with the price which contaminates the inner part of the meat so you need to overcook the meat to be sure it's safe to eat. The pastries look good read more

They have a nice selection of meats and fresh fish. We usually stop in to pick up some cold cuts and salads. They have a nice little bakery if you need something sweet. For my wife I'm usually enough. Lol They are a little prices but you get what you pay for! read more

I would be careful when saying that you take pride in your customer service because that's clearly not true. I was unhappy with my breakfast sandwich because it was made wrong and I was offered a discount but since I didn't eat the sandwich I believe a comp would be fit. I was given attitude by the owner and when I went to go pick up the complimentary sandwich it was rang up with a .60 cent discount as well as attitude from the cashier. That is not the appropriate way to rectify the problem of an unhappy customer. I will not be back. read more

I have been shopping at Burrinis since they were in the foodtown parking lot in mendham. I have been a loyal customer for 30 years. I just arrived with my 8 year old son to quickly buy two hamburgers at 5:02pm. With other customers clearly still inside shopping and a full staff I was beyond rudely met by a locked door and an employee to come over open the door to tell me they were closed. I responded i am with an 8 year old we will take two seconds to quickly grab two hamburgers and the door was slammed in my face and locked saying "we are closed I don't make the rules." this is a place that I have always respected for the family and community understanding and atmosphere which clearly no longer exists. I am a long time customer of Burrini's. Picked up two salmon dinners tonight. I was shocked at the price of $50!!! Pieces of fish were small as well. Could have gone to a restaurant for that cost! Last week 2 salmon dinners were about $30 total. which I thought was a lot but in today's inflationary climate, still within reason. I could have picked up two 8oz. pcs. Time has proven that Burrini's market has gone downhill. This place used to be great and dependable. Good sandwiches, fresh prepared foods, and fresh produce when in a pinch. Sadly that's not true anymore. The sandwiches are overpriced, the produce is rotting (the celery we brought home is disgusting, and the cucumbers were all soft), and the customer service is atrocious. Employees yelling at each other across the bakery while customers wait at a register with no one to check out. It's a shame because Burrini's was a shining star in an area that didn't really offer much. Unfortunately, my family and I have been noticing the downward trend, and today was the last straw. Needless to say, we will not be going back. What was told to be a 20 minute wait for sandwiches and soups turned into a 40 minute wait, service was rude, and they messed up our order. Loved the wide range of homemade prepared items - they had penne al vodka, Eggplant Parm, chicken Parm, chicken piccata, Mac and cheese, and many more. Easy to pick up one of these options on the way home from work in the evening, throw it in the oven, and you have a delicious meal in no time! The deli was good too, my husband had a pepperoni sub. They also have a produce section, bakery, and market. Prices are on the higher side, but it's a good option to have when you want something quick. Love this place. They are super close to my office and they make really good sandwiches with fresh ingredients and they are very generous with the cold cuts. I have eaten here a number of times now and I have been pleased every time. Their hours are a bit old-fashioned, they are close on Sundays 5:00 PM and close relatively early on weekdays, but that does not take away from the fact that they know what they're doing.
