Ordered food at 8:25pm on a Friday, paid and then was told they couldn't make one of the items as the grill was off. They close at 9:30 yet they turned off the grill over an hour before they closed. I was refunded my money but not the tip. Super frustrating and disappointing as we made a special trip across town. read more

I love getting take out from here. I'll call in the food and it is ready 10 minutes later. It is well packaged. They provide plenty of salsas to go. I like the basic burrito which has guacamole in it and it's well wrapped in foil so it doesn't fall apart. I put salsa on every bite of it. Very satisfying. They have a nice kids menu for a good price. They serve the breakfast burritos all day. Chips and salsa side is giant. Burrito Amigo's Yammi Burritos are delicious, can be small or regular in size. I am whole plant eater w/ preference for no eggs/no cheese so specify this when ordering at the Coburg Rd. location I go to. They come as tacos or burritos, regular or small sized, wheat or corn tortillas. Their beans do not have other ingredients in them, e.g. no fats such as lard. Very clean at the restaurant front on Coburg Rd. site. The Sheldon HS students keep them busier at the HS lunch hour so before or after that time is quieter. In the past months @ Coburg I have been in when there is not music playing so that may be more of an "at lunchtime" thing. read more

This formerly reliable place used to be great for getting pickup breakfast orders, but something happened to it sometime in the past year or so. The wet burritos that used to be drenched in salsa and the large amount of chips are gone. The "wet burritos" we got this morning had almost no salsa, very little meat, and the chips had been reduced by about half. The burritos were cold and one of them was labeled as something else, so we had to call them to find out what we had received. I give up. After a few disappointing orders, it is time to find a new place. read more

Came here for breakfast burritos after our usual go-to wasn't serving breakfast anymore. The breakfast burritos were okay. Sausage was un-proportionally distributed and basically just at the bottom of the burrito. Breakfast burritos definitely aren't a "healthy" option, but it would've been nice to have some onions or peppers to break up the soft, squishy, and greasy egg, meat, potato mixture. read more

When I am craving a burrito, Burrito Amigos is my goto to scratch that itch. I thoroughly enjoy the house burrito and usually order it with Carnitas. Well the GF and I were hungry and she was craving a burrito so off we went to Burrito Amigos. Apparently the Gf was seriously hungry and opted for some taquitos with chicken and they were delicious. We also got a carnitas stuffed quesadilla, and 2 orders of churros not withstanding out burritos. Yes we went home with a bunch of leftovers but that's ok. This establishment is always meticulously clean which is a huge plus and the employees come out and clean tables as soon as patrons leave. This morning I had my first breakfast burrito from burrito amigos. I have the meat burrito my choice with sausage. I requested to add sour cream and lettuce. My burrito was about nine dollars. A little bit pricey for a breakfast burrito and for the size. They were a little bit smaller than what I was expecting. Still, the burrito was large. The sausage was wonderful with no hard or crunchy bits nice and fresh. The egg was plentiful and fluffy, and the rest of the ingredients were as expected. I will try a lunch burrito soon based on the fact that the breakfast burrito was so fresh and tasty. I felt it was missing the taste of cilantro or salsa. I still will try it one more time. a fair price for a burrito big enough for two. In addition to the food, the service was perfect. The man behind the register was very friendly and willing to make my burrito exactly how I wanted. The ambience/scenery was just as you would expect in a neighborhood burrito shop. I saw some people I work with and the staff we're all getting on with their work. The vibe was peaceful and friendly. I found the restaurant to be clean and in good repair. 10 out of 10 I recommend. Best Mexican in Eugene so far! I heard the commercial on 104.7 KDUK but I definitely tried it! The Amigo burrito was pretty good. On Google it was five stars. I went there last night because my staff was hungry for Mexican but we had to check it out! Service was good, food was pretty good, and they give you both red and green sauce. As much as I really want to love Burrito Amigos, I think it's just ok. I recently got a breakfast burrito with green sauce and pork, potatoes, beans, sour cream, and cheese. I was so excited because I love chile verde and eggs. I was pretty sad to bite into it and to find that the eggs are chopped up into little tiny pea sized pieces. It was super mushy, and not very much pork. I regularly get the ranchero at burrito boy and appreciate the two fried eggs, and generous chunks of pork in their burrito. The flavor is there at burrito amigos, but the texture is off. I do like that they offer a larger variety of veggies when I'm looking for a burrito with veggies. Peppers, and yams! Just not my go to for breakfast. read more

What a hidden gem!! Affordable, amazing quick and friendly service (not fake friendly, the genuine kind), good food. Not a fancy place by any means, but great for a quick lunch stop. I would call this my favorite Mexican food place in N. Eugene. There was a line of kids out the door at 12:30-12:45 but the line moved so quickly and so did our food (maybe 5 minutes after ordering). Also, the churros were heavenly. Not like Burrito Boy where you really have to chew. Nope, these ones melt in your mouth... I could probably eat 50 of them. read more

This is my neighborhood Burrito Amigo's. I love the fact that they use fresh ingredients and make delicious food. When you get your order there is a huge bowl of hot sauce that is at the register. The red sauce looks dangerous, and the green sauce looks like it should be mild. The green sauce the last time I was in was inconsistent with what I've had before. It was not blow your head off hot, but it was very spicy. Great flavor, but not what I expected. My only suggestion for Burrito Amigo's is for all locations; Create a recipe for all sauces, so it is consistent between all locations. read more

In my neighborhood and had not tried it earlier due to lower reviews. I tried this during our move from Eugene to out of state and boy! We wondered why we didn't try this earlier. I have tried many little mom and pop ones, Nelson's , burrito boy and south hills cafe , glenwood and blue valley bistro but this one beats them all hands down. Now I LOVE a good breakfast burrito and for me it has to have the right mix of salt, acid and fat and that flavors the potatoes. I actually do not like beans in my burrito so I'm glad they have this optional. On day 1 of the move- we got the chorizo one and my husband got the machaca. The machaca was flat but the chorizo one was oh so flavorful. One of the best chorizo I have had here ( and I have been on the lookout for a good chorizo for a while- tried several Mexican places but by far this was my favorite) On day 2 - while driving out, husband got 2 junior chorizo breakfast burrito and I got the Huevos rancheros. I simply loved the Huevos rancheros one as it was nice meaty, juicy and loaded with the green spicy salsa and I asked them to add guacamole and jalapeños and pico de gallo to ours and what a burst of flavor it was in the mouth. My husband loved both- his chorizo one and mine and we truly felt bad not having tried it sooner. For reviews stating the differences in salsa- the green salsa was consistently a spicy but flavor bomb for me. The red salsa has a nice smokiness and heat but a bit flat as it lacks salt and acid. The eggs in the burrito are scrambled not fried so people who like the fried could probably request fried and I'm sure they can accommodate that. Best wishes to this cute, Hispanic run burrito place. Pleasantly surprised tonight! We frequent this taco shop when we come to Eugene on the weekends. Usually it's pretty standard but tonight was different. Whatever they did different was awesome! We get the Carne asada burrito "amigos" style which has beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and cilantro. I always get it without the lettuce because well, you should never eat lettuce in a burrito. The meat was the game changer this time. Very nicely seasoned and it seems like the quality was a lot higher tonight. The cilantro was cut thinner which is nice because you aren't stuck picking it out of your teeth. Definitely earns a higher star! Parking can be tough as it is in a smaller little strip mall with a bigger restaurant next door. Luckily there was one spot out front so it wasn't a huge issue tonight. Staff is very friendly and the restaurant looks clean. We always get it to go, but I wouldn't mind stopping in if I was out and about. read more

Here's a newsflash Eugene restauranteurs... if you are going to charge $4.75 for a breakfast burrito w meat... add the meat!!! I dropped $11 (tip included) for 2 "to go" burritos this morning... one w bacon for my son, the other w chorizo. Plenty of EGG.. blahhh... my chorizo was applied like pizza sauce to the dough.. just a smattering on the tortilla. Crazy! The last time we ordered "to go" food from this place I spent $28 for 2 people... including a trio of tamales for around $8.50... they were about the size of taquitos. I actually drove back to return the pork and beef tamales.. they were dry.. like freezer burnt. The only edible one was the chicken. It was good, but too small. After today, I won't be spending my money here. In this economy, I expect good food, fresh food. I don't mind PAYING for it, but I will no longer tolerate restaurants that charge plenty and don't deliver! read more

Burrito amigos had great reviews so we went to check it out. It's easy to find across from Papas Pizza on Coburg Rd. The lady behind the counter was friendly and pleasant. I enjoyed our small talk. The food came quickly. I had a wet burrito. It was huge and full of meat. It didn't have any sauce like sour cream or guac inside, and I found it kind of dry. The flavors were good though. I won't get it again. The chips it came with were delish. My wife got the quesadilla and that was next level. I mean sooo good. I highly recommend it. The hot sauce choices were also good. I've been going here a lot lately and every time my breakfast burrito has been great. I always mine with bacon! It's been loaded with both bacon and eggs every time. I've noticed that some of the cooks throw on a little too much potato, but the good thing is you can see them, so if you want less you can always let them know!. Not the best breakfast burrito I've ever had, but definitely good. The restaurant is always clean and the service is always quick and friendly. No complaints there. read more
