Burrito- You start from the left side and work with them as they build your burrito (like chipotle). They ask black or refried beans, they ask if u want any of the ingredients (cheese, tomato, cabbage etc) I said yes to all. Avocados do not cost extra. He asked if I like spicy, I said mild so he didnt add any sauce. The pollo looks super juicy. The lime has so much aroma as you bite into the burrito. Burrito is a classic, and yes this one is huge. Sort of like a Subway of Mexican food. You pick what you want and the filling inside. They do burritos, tacos, and bowls. I went with chicken which was a mixture of white and dark. Then you can pick what you want inside. The burrito was good just big. I could only eat 3/4 of it. read more

A local Chipotle with much more flavor, in their food & their colorful design with local goodies like a chico State wildcats logo / packers logo / Aaron Rodgers stuff and a Butte college road runner. Talk about a food coma, their burritos are HUGE and come with free avocado. You better come hungry! I don't usually post, but I just had a chicken burrito from this place, it had to sit in my car for 2 hours cuz I was getting late to work, ate it at home and it's the best burrito I've had since high school. I've searched far and wide across 4 states trying to find a burrito that leaves me filled, satisfied and content as this burrito has. All those calories consumed eating lesser food has been all for nothing except being able to appreciate the true work of art this left upon my taste buds even now 30 minutes after eating it. Only rating their togo chicken burrito bowl = excellent. Similar set up like a Chipotle as you order at the counter and their worker prepares it as you watch. Asking what you'd like in your burrito. My burrito bowl was about the same price as at Chipotle however the choice of fresh avocado was included. Also they offer cabbage which was nice. Massive burritos. This place is very Americanized Mexican food, but good. I love their hot sauce, it's addicting. I always get a burrito, no meat, with everything. Excellent. (Their refried beans are made with lard, not vegetarian) If you're a fan of hot sauce, they have tons to choose from. I definitely recommend this place over Chipotle. This place is... aight. I have only been here once and was really surprised at the decor inside. A good surprise! Very colorful, tidy, and clean. I like how you tell them what you want in your burrito as they make it so there are no mistakes. Their chicken was a tiny bit dry, which is hard to avoid when it is precooked. They have a nice salsa bar and their employees are SO friendly. I would give 5 stars if it was just based on customer service. This is strictly for their worthless drive thru. this is the only burrito bandido I've ever seen with a drive-through and I only go to restaurants if they have a drive-through. Finally, I was there at the hours they are open and was about to enter and then saw their stupid sign that you can only use the drive-through if you preordered lol it was so stupid I just started laughing at this stupidity. I thought sure though, I'll pull over to the side in the parking lot, for where there wasn't a single customer parked or going in-and-out of the restaurant, and as long as it only takes a couple minutes, as all I wanted was a bean cheese rice burrito and that's all, then I would place the order and then immediately drive thru. Since they clearly had all the time on their hands to get it ready in a few minutes. After searching and searching, they didn't have a single bean cheese rice burrito on the menu come other bean and cheese burrito didn't allow you to add anything to it and there was no customized option. A bean cheese rice burritos about as basic as it can gets,and they didn't even let me pick that on the menu, so I went to a different place and gave my money to them. We go here once a week. Very kids friendly and the burritos are big enough to split. Avocado is free but they've reduced it down to about 1/4 an avocado versus more if you were to pay. Make sure to order the shredded beef. The chicken is not as good as Chipotle's read more

Absolutely love the fresh yummy food made right in front of you. If someone in your group is getting a quesadilla, have them put in their order first, they take the longest to prepare. The burrito bowls rock! The container is filled to the brim with 2 choices for your beans, several choices for meat (Carne Asada is a great choice!), pico (if you don't like onions they can put on tomato and cilantro only), sour cream, cheese, avocado (included no extra charge), hot sauce and a squeeze of lime. You also have choices of a giant burrito, a bean burrito and taco. They're rice is fantastic. They have a salsa bar, Tortilla chips, soda fountain and several choices of bottled beverages. If you have a little one don't forget task the cashier to please bring out the toy tray, they will give your child a fun little toy for free if requested. Check 'em out 1,000,000 time tastier, fresher and larger proportions than Chipotle. You'll never go back to Chipotle after eating here. read more

I asked them to leave off the jalapeños, pico & avacado, but all I got was refried beans, chicken & cheese. What happened to the rice, cabbage & sour cream?? I'm a fan, but... My primary spot is Chico. Gifted as presents over the years, have gear to wear for Taco Tuesday. No more? The new counter help acted as though I was speaking Swedish. Know I did a BOGO in Anderson not that long ago. Then there is the issue of pricing on my standard order of a taco. Just meat and cheese. Has been called 'veggie taco' for years. Inconsistent application of this price structure. Again, bring up the issue with some of the new folks and I am back to speaking Swedish. Worse yet on the burrito in similar fashion. Tried to call attention to a line person that re-asked if I wanted every possible item after I specifically went through the simplicity of my desired ingredients. Meat, refried and cheese. If you find yourself in this strip mall, hungry for burritos, and in a hurry, Burrito Bandito is not terrible. But if you're willing to drive a few minutes, get a burrito somewhere else. read more
