List of toppings

I have ordered burritos from this Burrito Boyz location a few times now, and they have proven to be good and consistent. My last visit to Burrito Boyz was on a Wednesday at around 6:30 PM. As always, there was a line at the cash for people placing their order and a bunch of people waiting for their order to be ready. The order line usually moves quickly, and I was able to place the order within 5 minutes. The wait for the order to be ready was about 15 minutes, which also as expected. The order that night consisted of two beef burritos on white tortillas and one naked beef burrito, which is burrito without the tortilla (just a burrito salad). After ordering, and waiting for a bit, they call you up to choose your toppings. It is a good idea to scope out the toppings before you are called to choose because there are a lot of choices. You also have the choice of level of spiciness form a dot of hot sauce to a line, or several lines. There is always an up charge for guacamole, which fine because I always skip it, and it appears that everyone else did too since it was turning brown and oxidized (I guess that's what happens when you charge extra for one topping). Everything else appeared fresh. Overall, the service is always fast and efficient, and the burritos are consistently good. I will continue to return for their burritos.

I bought a halibut burrito here and I was shocked this thing cost almost $15 now... I understand minimum wage has gone up and their prices have kept pace, but charging me for guac? Are you kidding me? Not to mention I didn't get any of it in my burrito.. waste of the $1 upcharge. The burrito fell apart because it wasn't wrapped properly either. Maybe I should've eaten it from the middle like Justin Bieber did... he was truly onto something. Won't be coming back to this location until they fix their sloppiness. Absolutely disappointed.

Worst Burrito Boyz experience ever

I love burrito boyz, and I used to love this location my favourite was always the one on Stavebank but this one was a close second, but I've noticed it going downhill quickly and it's quickly become my least favourite. Flavour wise all the burrito boyz are the same the only different I find is the amount you get and the preparation. Well this location NEVER seems to cut the green peppers properly and I'm not speaking from one experience I'm speaking from 3! The last 3 times I've come here I've had a quarter of a bell pepper sliced into my food! Seriously pieces cut 2-3 inches wide and long! This is not how you cut peppers and THIS IS THE ONLY LOCATION I've ever had this problem at! The one at 10 and Steele's is always perfect as well as the one on Stavebank. This is now one of the worst burrito boyz but on the plus side the one on 10 and Steele's has really stepped up their game and became my second favourite location

I guess this really started for me as a late night place after the clubs. My first time at burrito boyz was on Adelaide street. I still remember how my friends talked about it all the time. They assured me that I would not be dissapointed. They were right. You can pretty much compare burrito boyz to a mucho burrito or a subway (with burritos). First you select you main filling and then your tortilla type. After that you're given an option of ingredients to fill your burrito with. Afree an option of fresh vegetables, salsa, guacamole, and sauce your burrito is taken hostage in order for it to be filled and grilled. It takes a little bit but I figure it crunchifies the tortilla and melts everything together all nice. My favorite is the halibut burrito, which has a giant piece of fish in it. I've also tried the haddock and was just as impressed. I'm pretty sure that whatever location you go to you'll be pleased. Fair warning though... Adelaide gets RIDICULOUSLY busy at night.

I got the quesadilla with green peppers, red onions and tomatoes for $8. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the taste very much; the cheese wasn't properly melted and it tasted sour and not like a traditional quesadilla. Their burritos are good but I don't think I'd try anything else.

SO. Most already know about my dislike of Burrito Boyz (and the Banditos ugly step sister). I wasn't given the choice about coming here but I also didn't have to pay...so there's that. I figured since I was being forced to eat here I would try the halibut burrito that everyone seems to rave about. The fish was good. Better than the bland meat options I've tried before. However, the burrito was heavily grilled and cracked open when I still had a third of it left, leaving my hands messy and dripping of burrito sauce. The guy at the till was friendly and helpful. The girl making our burritos was nice but she had trouble keeping our order of three burritos straight. As I've said in a previous Boyz/Banditos review, why not make one burrito at a time and get it right? You don't see Subway trying to make three subs at the same time. 4 stars for the tasty fish 3 stars for the service 2 stars for over-grilling the burrito

I'm mixed about Burrito Boyz. Only 3*s as I feel that the wait is incredibly long...especially the last step where they're grilling your burrito on the flat-top. There was only 1-2 people ahead of me, during an off-time (well after the dinner rush), and I literally waited 15mins+ for 1 burrito. Staff were friendly and explained they were making the fish (haddock) fresh for me, but a coupla days ago, I went out for fish & chips which literally arrived to my table in 5-8mins, so why is it taking so.loooong?? Redeeming qualities include: 1. Portion size - Small is sufficient size, lots ingredients 2. Guac is FREE Aside from that, it does take long, so keep that in mind. You may want to call ahead of time to see if that's any quicker!

This place used to serve the most delicious Mexican food around, then they starter opening more and more locations and with that came a downgrade in taste. Probably now they use more wholesale grade, lower quality ingredients due to rising food cost. What I the reason, the tast is just not there anymore. But I wish them well.

This place is in close proximity to our home so every now and then we order from here. It's best to do take out here as dine in isn't that good and especially with the crowd coming in, it's difficult to enjoy the food. We usually order the Burritos only, a small is like $8 and the large is $9 and change. I usually preorder over the phone, so have to explain properly. Many a times they do not add sauces properly and hence it becomes dry. Like couple times I clearly said no beans but they had still added it! Taste wise, it's good, but not like their other branch at 410 and Queen, that one is busy but yet always a treat. All in All, it's a good place!

I've been to this late night hot spot for many years! I'm super lucky that it's only a 3 min drive from my house. Burrito Boyz is a staple in Mississauga! I usually get the chicken/steak burrito, I love the side chips and guacamole but my fav is the halibut. You'll never leave this place hungry. They pack the burritos with toppings and never skimp out on the meat. They also have cool daily specials and right now they have a burrito and movie deal which is a great deal! P.S. Has anyone ever tried their calamari? I always want to order them but I'm way too afraid bc I'm super picky when it comes to calamari!

My favorite place to get burritos in Mississauga. I would recommend going from 2:30pm - 5pm they have buy one get one half price. I also love that they are open late.

I haven't been in this location in a year and today reminded me of why... The quality of the food has declined since it opened and how it's still even in business today amazes me... Though I was surprised at the good customer service today, since it's usually terrible and unfriendly, but I'm not surprised with the food. Portion sizes are terrible and I'm not sure what to make of my naked halibut burrito that I ordered: it was more of a naked batter burrito - there was hardly any fish!!!!! And my husband's burrito had a burnt smell, which made sense since their flat-top looks like it hadn't been cleaned since they opened... Nothing had a "Burrito Boyz" flavor to it, pretty much burnt and stale. Our go-to location is usually Adelaide in downtown Toronto, but we don't live around there anymore so this was a last resort since we were hankering for Burrito Boyz and we were close by.. Needless to say, after this we won't be going back and we definitely don't recommend this location.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, vibrant, welcoming , colorful décor, lively music, and the comforting aroma of fresh tortillas. The food is the real highlight. The tacos were packed with flavor, the meat perfectly seasoned and tender, and the salsa had just the right balance of heat and freshness. You can tell everything is made fresh, from the guacamole to the house-made sauces. The portions were generous without sacrificing quality. Service was friendly, with staff happy to explain dishes and offer recommendations. It felt less like dining out and more like being invited over for a home-cooked meal. They also have halal options. Spacious and free parking on site. Service was quick and friendly as well

We decided to start with the Fries Supreme, which have obviously been modeled after Taco Bell's iconic dish. And yeah, they definitely reminded me of that concoction. The fries could've been fresher and hotter but otherwise I quite enjoyed this messy plate. For the main, I went with a couple of tacos: the Chorizo and the Pulled Pork. The latter I found especially enjoyable, as the sauce the pork had been cooked in was delicious. (It was large chunks of pork, though, so I'm not quite sure it qualifies as pulled pork.) The many hot sauces available, plus the two sauces brought with the tacos, really elevated the whole thing, but I really enjoyed the creamy, cilantro-forward sauce included on the plate. Contigo is a cool little place. I'm sure I'll be returning.

When I walked-in, there was a line-up of customers waiting to be served at the ordering counter. I took some time to look at the menu while I was waiting in the line. The line went quickly, which was great, and before I knew it, I was at the front of the line. Upon reaching the front of the line, I was greeted by a kind young woman, whom asked what I would like. I settled on two tacos; one with ground beef, and the other with grilled chicken. I was then given a number plaque, and asked to find a table in order to wait for the food. I waited about ten minutes, then was brought the food directly to my table, which I thought was great. When I noticed the two tacos on my dish, I was impressed with how full they were. There was also additional dipping sauce that came with my meal, along with two bottles of sauces that the server gave to me when he dropped off my food items. When I bit into the tacos, I was blown away at how delicious they were! The ground beef and grilled chicken were cooked to perfection, juicy and appetizing. I loved how full the tacos were, as there was plenty to munch on, which filled me up quite quickly. Along with the hip-happening Spanish music playing on the speaker, and the Mexican-themed decor on the walls, this restaurant truly embodied authentic Mexican cuisine. Complete with excellent service, this experience was something to remember. I will definitely be back!

Upon entering this restaurant, we were kindly greeted by the server at the front. We were then brought to a table on the upper level near the window which was near the railing therefore, was a tad tight. The music was lively however, not too loud. As well, the décor was set just right for a Mexican restaurant, with many decorations relating to the Day Of The Dead, which is a Mexican holiday. For my meal, I had settled on the pork carnitas without any onion or cilantro, while my daughter had the french fries, and my mother had the beef picadillo. I found that the wraps for the pork carnitas weren't too fresh however, the pork was a good amount, and tasted well-prepared. I would have liked to have some sort of a sauce or topping to go with the pork carnitas however, I only had the side order of diced avocado which was given, along with some Mexican inspired rice. Overall, the food was good however, it wasn't as good as I would have hoped. The prices were a tad high for what we had gotten however, I do respect that this is a family-owned business, and prices are high at every restaurant these days. The service was definitely great, with the server coming to check in on us as we dined, and filling up our water jug from time-to-time. I may come back here to try another item, as the food is definitely authentic, and well-prepared.

Very close to square one shopping mall, this is a good option when you're in the area. There was one person in there working as far as we could tell when we went in this evening. We grabbed the box and some tacos. The box is a mix of rice and salad with a choice of filling (we got chicken) and it was topped with some beans, corn and chickpeas with some delicious sauce. The tacos were cool- not your typical Mexican taco with flour or corn tortilla. It was like a pita but crispy after being in the press with the filling and topped with lettuce, salsa and sauce. The sauces are a variety- some being hummus or a tahini which is where the fusion cuisine takes place. Would definitely come back.

Preparation was super quick. I ordered from the Square One parking lot before starting my car, and 15 mins later when I arrived, it was already ready. Food-wise, I'm a fan. While I enjoy shawarma, I often find it too heavy especially for summer, so I tend to stay away. I liked this chicken/rice box a lot since the sauce felt much lighter and easier to eat even when it's hot outside. The portion size was good; the styrofoam takeout box the meal came in was topped up and the amount in it would definitely be enough for one person. There was enough sauce, the whole bowl felt very fresh, and I liked the tomatoes that topped the bowl since it added something cold + tangy to the meal. Location is convenient, next to Square One and easy to find, but has limited (all paid) street parking. It's best to go with someone to drive, pop off quickly to pick up, and go. All in all a solid experience. I'd definitely come back for more Alijandro's Box. At the BOGO price I got it for, portion size was great, but at the original price, I'd think it leans towards being pricey, as the box isn't really that full. But, flavour and freshness are all really good, so I can anticipate myself craving this soon!
