So if you are looking for a well-portioned appetizer for 3 or 4 people, this is it! For my entree, I got the Aztec chicken salad which was also amazing. Great food, service and ambiance! The waitstaff was wonderful and there was a Saxophone player playing amazing live music the entire time. For drinks, we ordered their Watermelon Margaritas that they had on special. These were so refreshing. To start, we were given a free little tasting appetizer which was like a caprese on a toothpick. It was the absolute most perfect bite of tomato, mozzarella, basil, & olive oil. We also ordered the Baked brie, which was served with grapes, apples, pepper jelly, and with pita bread. This was AMAZING!! The pepper jelly was the perfect combination for the baked brie. For mains, we ordered a few of the brie & caramelized onion pizzas and Margherita pizzas. These were amazing! They have a brick fire pizza oven that created the most perfect thin & crispy pizza crust. I've also been told that the pastas here are incredible. To finish, we were given a delicious dessert shot on the house. I've never had such a delicious shot in my life. This was the perfect ending to an amazing dinner. I highly recommend coming to try La Ola Rica. 5/5 service, 5/5 ambiance, 5/5 food!

Michelin Star cuisine that is great to bring a date to for a sit down dinner. We got the recommendation from the hotel we were staying at two blocks away and we are glad we came. So many perks about this location. I suggest planning to sit for 1.5 hours and come hungry to fully enjoy the experience. The tortillas and base for most of the dishes are made directly in house, you can see the employee outside making your tortillas and bao buns as you place the order. There is a wonderful combination of texture and flavor in every dish you order. The colors of each plate will be digested by your eyes first and surely everything is plated wonderfully. I recommend coming here early evening for no wait to be seated.

Recommended to us by the property manager of the adorable place we are staying in (Casa Aqua Bella), Limbo is world class. The fresh and inventive cocktails serve only as a precursor to the mind blowing mains. We stared with a seafood ceviche like no other that had an array of seafood in a flavorful marinade topped with these puffed rice chips. Followed by a meat stuffed artichoke heart topped with an egg. Also in a sauce that is plate-licking worthy. Our mains were the roasted octopus with melted cheese and another version of the crispy rice goodness. So unbelievably tender. And a slow cooked beef in au jus with thick handmade corn tortillas. Melt in your mouth good. And then there's the cocktails. The signature Limbo is complex and refreshing. So good we had more than one. Honestly this was one of my favorite meals in any country.

I mean, how does Chef Marco do it?!!! I couldn't believe the gluten free crust was actually gluten free - it was THAT good. Also tried the gluten free rigatoni pasta with pesto and bell peppers, as well as the regular rigatoni pasta with pesto & bell peppers. LOVED both. Usually our little toddler who is gluten free has to compromise on taste or quality, but not in this restaurant. When the Chef heard he was GF, he even prepared special GF bread out of GF pizza crust as an appetizer for the table (served along with pesto and balsamic glaze). In our 3 day stay in PV, we had 3 meals here -- lunch, dinner, as well as takeout. I could write an entire essay about how good this restaurant was in terms of the quality of food (also tried the Eggplant Parm which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, as well as the vegan tiramisu). The ambience (esp at dinner) and service (esp at lunch) was so good. If you are into excellent quality Italian food, this restaurant is for you. If you are vegetarian, vegan, celiac... this restaurant is DEF for you. Pls don't miss it!!

I'm updating my previous 5-star review based on my lunch at Pineda yesterday…read more I'm lowering my assessment to FOUR stars because, while the quality of the food, service, and facilities are still top notch, the owners have continued to raise prices to the point where the value is questionable. One example (based on my menu photo in 2021): The zarandeado then was $190. It's now $445. That's a pretty significant jump. In addition to the increased prices they've dropped many items from their menu and in some cases reduced portions. My waiter told me that they removed the rice and bean side dishes from the "family platters" and the Mexicans, especially, were (!understatement alert!) "displeased." I can understand why: Prices up; selection and quantity down. The impact of this business decision shows. I've been there now a couple of times in Peak Snowbird Season and both times there's been no problem getting a table; it's just not nearly as crowded as it has been previously. Shame, really. I like this place; the food is great, the service is great, the cleanliness is great, the view is great. But coming in with smaller portions, reduced choices, and increased prices is really taking its toll on Pineda. PS: While the Tostada Mixta is one of the starters that's been stripped from the menu, my waiter was kind enough to persuade the kitchen to make one for me anyway (market price).
