Our group ended up here on accident and we were hesitant to walk in once we realized it was a vegetarian restaurant. We are SO GLAD we stayed. The chef helped us order and yummmm. Carpaccio 5 stars. Pear salad delish, lasagna was creamy heaven but the pizza....just get the pizza. I only took pics of the eggplant parm bc we ate so fast. The restaurant probably has 10 tables. It's so perfect.
Excellent Italian restaurant in PV. As the name implies, it's vegetarian food. Ranging from tasty appetizers to delicious pasta and pizza. No hassle to order gluten free or gluten dishes. Chef Marco is from Italy and trust me, this is as authentic as Italian food could possibly taste. The restaurant is small, cosy and charming. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
Four of us went here for our first time the food was excellent we ordered the mushrooms as a starter as well as the antipasto. Both the regular lasagna and the vegan lasagna or ordered and both were delicious as was the greek salad the pizza and the spaghetti puttanesca. The vegan chocolate mousse was delicious as was the tiramisu. Everybody loved their meals even the carnivores. And we were able to take our little havanese dog in with us as well. The staff and service was excellent! We will visit here again and again.
Marco and Daniela are amazing friends and hosts. The menu is concise...its all you need for an amazing meal for a family or a romantic dinner for two. I have been here so many times...my frustration is when my meal is eaten and gone...such amazing food. Fresh food made with quality produce....so confident in its preparations...Marco runs an amazing business and his love Daniela...she brings that personal touch...don't get me wrong...Marco will sit down with you for appetizers....but such a wonderful place to come to. I highly recommend this restaurant....the compassionate soul is ozzing with this place. The clientele are regulars both for the food and the company of Daniela and Marco
Great vegetarian restaurant in the Romantic Zone! I came in solo and ordered the caprese salad as the starter, the zucchini/gorgonzola pasta as a main and tiramisu for dessert. The salad is super interesting w/ the addition of red onion, a basil/olive oil drizzle and sliced jalapeños. It was a completely unexpected combination but worked really well. While I love blue cheeses, I was slightly hesitant about ordering the pasta as they can completely overpower a dish if not done in moderation. The pasta was in one word - AMAZING. The cheese was subtle and the slight sweetness of the zucchini complemented it perfectly! Overall, it was a great meal. Regarding reviews about the timing of the courses, it's Mexico and things tend to operate at a slower pace. Take that into consideration while you have some wine and all will be good!
We love the cheese pizza with the fresh basil, and the crust is as close to the local pizza we get in the US (for a small pie). The wine selection is great. We usually also get the vegan cheese plate, as well as a pasta dish. read more

I got the rigatoni with pesto and it was some of the best I've ever had in my life. The vibe in there is super cute, quaint, and quiet. The owner was extremely kind and the waitress was very nice. It was my friends birthday and they gave us free mousse with a candle and sang to her. I definitely recommend coming here! read more

I wish I could give 20 stars the 5 Terre pizza here was SO good, SO authentic, SO flavorful. Tried both the classic crust as well as the gluten-free crust -- both were incredibly tasty. I mean, how does Chef Marco do it?!!! I couldn't believe the gluten free crust was actually gluten free - it was THAT good. Also tried the gluten free rigatoni pasta with pesto and bell peppers, as well as the regular rigatoni pasta with pesto & bell peppers. LOVED both. Usually our little toddler who is gluten free has to compromise on taste or quality, but not in this restaurant. When the Chef heard he was GF, he even prepared special GF bread out of GF pizza crust as an appetizer for the table (served along with pesto and balsamic glaze). In our 3 day stay in PV, we had 3 meals here -- lunch, dinner, as well as takeout. I could write an entire essay about how good this restaurant was in terms of the quality of food (also tried the Eggplant Parm which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, as well as the vegan tiramisu). The ambience (esp at dinner) and service (esp at lunch) was so good. If you are into excellent quality Italian food, this restaurant is for you. If you are vegetarian, vegan, celiac... this restaurant is DEF for you. Pls don't miss it!! read more

The service is nice. I recommend getting a reservation as it is a small restaurant and we had to wait awhile. The food was good and the staff is very kind. The pizza was amazing! The manicotti looks little but don't be fooled it's heavy! Couldn't finish the pasta so we took it home. read more

Great pizza, salad, and wine. We love this quaint adorable restaurant located in the heart of artsy area.. The owner/chef is busy but always stops by to ask how the food is. Highly recommend! read more

We discovered this last year seeking out vegetarian choices and it is excellent. We let our local friends know who aren't vegetarian and it's now a favorite place of theirs. All was delicious. Salad, eggplant, pasta, pizza, tiramisu! And the friendly owner who comes and checks in. Go!!! read more

Was told about this place from a friend, his daughter is Vegan he however is not. I personally am a fan of anything fresh and of course delishes. This is now the second time I've been here and I would give it five stars for both of my visits. One of my top five favorite places in Puerto Vallarta. The service is top notch. They do gluten-free pizza as well and it's been so long since I've had pizza to be able to eat it and really enjoy it the crust was perfectly crispy and not soggy in the middle like some that I've tried in the past. Will continue to visit and reference to everyone. read more

Absolutely delicious elevated vegetarian and vegan cuisine in a lovely small cafe located in the romantic zone of Puerto Vallarta, Jal. We were all thrilled with the food and the service at this absolute gem of a restaurant. Lovely wine. Local Beers. We shared the Jean Pierre Pizza, Rigatoni Peperonata, Manicotti, and Lasagna. We finished with the vegan chocolate mousse. All HIGHLY RECOMMEND, but especially the the manicotti WOW! If you're vegetarian or vegan Veggitalia is a must. If you're not but you love exceptional Italian food you're sure to enjoy Veggitalia too! read more

i do not write many reviews but this place is amazing. If you are VEGAN the options are incredible and they will take care of you. we ordered a mushroom pizza and red beet pasta which both were unbelievably delicious. highly recommend read more

Wow. Just wow. I never expected such an incredible panino (that's one panini). It was delicious AND beautifully plated. The Aperol Spritz just added to the magic. Amazing food. The chef was so kind and welcoming and made us feel at home right away. Nice and cool space on a hot day. DEFINITELY COMING BACK!! read more

Incredibly delicious food! I am not a vegetarian but don't miss meat options at all at this place because their food is sooooooo mouthwatering and scrumptious. I have eaten there 5 times already and plan to do so at least a dozen more before I leave Puerto Vallarta. The tiramisu was the best I've ever had (including ones I've had in Italy) and is the dessert that will be in my sweet dreams forever. Their mixed salad and chef's choice pizza are my personal favorites but I tasted my friends zucchini and gorgonzola pasta and that also tasted delicious. The staff is very friendly and wonderfully attentive. This is my favorite place for food in PV for sure. read more

My girlfriend and I had a huge day hiking and we were dying. Our brains went - we were desperate - after a week of searching for veggies- we Googled Italian hoping for some variety- and here it was!!! Marco, the Italian chef rocked as did his charming server Davide! They made us feel like at home- a very cool veggie Italian version of home. The atmosphere was simply magical and the food was over and beyond our imagination of Italian vegetarian cuisine. It was our last night at Puerto Vallarta and we wouldn't have it any other way.
