Staff were friendly and there are plenty of personnel to point guests in the right direction. Sight lines are very good. Stadium seats are still stadium seats, so not particularly comfort, but they are to be expected. Busch Stadium is one of the better reasons to visit downtown St. Louis. read more

The restaurants across the street even have some limited seating on their balcony's to enjoy the game. Bright and non-covered open field. Easy access to all gates. Great Last-Minute Cardinals Experience Attended the Cards game and scored a last-minute ticket for just $50 on TickPick. I ended up with a dugout box-level seat in Row B and also had access to the 3rd Base Lounge, which was especially nice on such a hot day. The lady monitoring the seats was super sweet and helpful. This was such a nice stadium! I haven't been to a lot (SoFi in LA, Chase FIeld in AZ), but this was REALLY nice! The parking lot was not very far from the entrance, and getting in was a breeze! We came here to watch an afternoon game with the family, and found the featured restaurant for the month (Kanoa's Hawaiian Grill - 10/10), and then made our way up to the Red Bird Club. As we were traveling up, the kind ladies let us know we could get a button and photo for my toddler's first game! They gave him a certificate and button designed like a baseball. The Red Bird club was nice! There was PLENTY of seating surrounding the food booths and there was a cart for sandwiches. They also had cushioned seating by the window and sofas. The weather was perfect, and the staff was extremely accommodating to me as I upgraded our tickets from shade area to two rows behind the VIP area, behind home plate. This is a lovely ballpark in the heart of downtown St. Louis. If you're in town for a conference or sightseeing during the summer months, it's well worth catching a game. Overall, the ballpark is clean and gives a nice view of downtown (or the Gateway Arch). I came here in June 2023 for an early evening game with comfortable weather. The seats were a little high up - but that didn't matter one bit as the views were nice while enjoying a hot dog and chatting with friends. Of course, getting to the ballpark can be quite crowded - if you walk here or take public transportation, you'll have a more pleasant experience. read more

I always have a great time at Busch stadium! The workers are always kind and open to questions. We got through the gates quickly, and received our theme night jerseys with ease. I was there for a team happy hour during the Barbie theme night and we ended up on the Jumbotron! We lucked out with good weather and were able to move around easily due to low attendance. We enjoyed a few $6 margaritas at the bar downstairs before walking up to the crown bar where my coworkers got some cheap beer deals. I love the Crumbl. Cookie addition on the main floor. They needed to update their menu to include the new cinnamon toast cookie but it was delicious! I've had the red cookie too and it was also very tasty. I used to work here as an usher and can attest that the organization truly puts its best foot forward and strives to provide the best customer experience for fans from all over. When I'm out of town, but near a ballpark, I like to go to a home game if the schedule permits. Even though my seats were on the highest level, they were excellent, as you can see from the pictures. Perfect view down the third base line, facing away from the sun so it wasn't humid AND hot, and near beer, ice cream, and food, so I didn't have to go far for anything (though I did). Honestly, I don't think there is a bad seat in this house. The donuts and ice cream were only in the first level, so I did need to venture to find them. I could have also gotten the custard in a plastic helmet or a large order of donuts in a plastic baseball bowl. They were more sugar than I normally have in one sitting, but I regret nothing. The donuts were war, the frozen custard was cold and even though the custard melted into the donuts, they were easy to scoop up with a spoon--the donuts are maybe an inch's and a half in diameter. Because I had eaten before going to the park, this was all I ate while I was there. Their website has all of the different foods listed alphabetically by food, and where to find them. I'd recommend looking that up before venturing to wander around the stadium. It is very large with a lot of stuff going on, so the online menu is a good plan of attack. I initially was full of petty complaints, for years I worked in crowd control at Wrigley Field and the staff here made a lot of mistakes. A lot of opening homestand errors, and I had to admit, that's what happened at the start of every season in the Friendly Confines and I was a part of training so the errors were largely my fault. So, I had to reassess before my review, and first and foremost the frontline employees, security, ushers, crowd control, food service, everyone that I encountered was friendly and pleasant. That's much better than we did at Wrigley. The stadium is beautiful and comfortable. I saw a very exciting extra innings game, love the real organ, the screens are informative, the fans are great (but to be clear I'm still a Cubs fan). The Metro takes one directly to the Third Base Entrance where a majestic statue of Stan the Man stands ready to play ball. On entry security didn't know how to handle my camera, it's funny how i-Gen knows what cameras are I guess because they love retro, but the Millenial security worker wanted me to "take the lens off" as if it were a film SLR camera (it wasn't). But she was friendly about it so I showed her how to make me demonstrate that we could see through the viewfinder and the view screen and I could take a digital PIC making it unlikely to be a weapon. They were giving away a nice pullover hoodie and it was cold, but neither the usher checking tickets nor the usher handing them out gave us ours so we stepped through and waited politely. When we still didn't get any we asked and they said we have to get them when we entered only. We said, we just came through. "Which gate?" Right here. So the supervisor came over and we repeated the same entire conversation and she asked the usher who checked our tickets what he wanted to do and he said no initially, but relinquished when I said he was being mean. Nicest free give away I've seen at a ball park. Then the usher at the top of the stairs to our seats didn't yet know the aisles and seats for our section yet. We had great seats, but within one inning our section was filled up by refugees from the cheaper seats (not in the sun). I felt they should have waited until the 5th inning to let people move up to the more expensive seats. A couple of young workers walked the aisles collecting recyclables. Big 5 stars for that. The hot dogs, peanuts, Coke Zero, were all the usual overpriced ballpark fare, no Cracker Jacks. There was some confusion by the announcer who seemed to think God Bless America was our national anthem but I suppose most American men are out of practice taking their hats off that this way they were ready for the actual national anthem which ensued. Very cute child choir did a great job on The Star Spangled, you could say they knocked it out of the park. There was no flag desecration, this was the first sporting event I've attended in a few years that didn't feature an American flag touching the ground, being stepped on, or being worn as clothing. Concessions need to remember to put garbage receptacles near the condiment tables. read more

We went to the July 26th game vs the San Diego Padres. We bought resale tickets on stub hub and sat in section 148. I researched online and you can bring in a clear bag, sealed water, or empty bottle to refill and snacks. I'm used to Target field and this was nice but had drawbacks. The concourses were dark. There were bathrooms on the right side and left side. Same with concessions. I walked around once and it was not as open as Target field where you can stop and watch the game from the top. Also left field had a narrow foul line. The view of the arch was cool. Pitchers hit batters and we saw the benches cleared. Cardinals lost 3-1. It was 90 plus degrees and sat in padded seats. Sweated during the whole game. No appetite to try food, only drank water to stay hydrated. It was an alright stadium. One and done. read more

Just one month after my first visit to St. Louis and Busch Stadium, I am a lifetime fan ( with the swag to prove it!!) Fantastic energy / community around the Stadium, from hotels, restaurants, apartment buildings and stores. We live in Florida but have a second house in northern Kentucky where my airline pilot husband is based ( Cincinnati). It's a good 5 hour drive to St. Louis, so a day road trip isn't possible. Cheap seats purchased on one of the ticket hub sites because this was a rescheduled game that had been postponed earlier in the season. I got an AMAZING seat for less than $17 with fees - front row of the first tier. And because this was an afternoon game, I picked seats where I would not be sitting in the sun. Busch is relatively new and quite modern. I found the seats to be quite comfortable and there are a bunch of different options for concessions. I stuck to the usual hot dog and beer, which was of course not inexpensive but that's tradition. Plenty of rest rooms even during the break between innings. Did the Cardinals win? The seats we had were so good! I found them on Seat Geek and paid way less than they are through the stadium ticket office. The food at the ballpark is great with so many choices. Now there is Crumbl at the park!!! We went on a Friday during lent (ugh right?!) and had plenty of non meat choices. My 20th MLB stadium. Very hot in the summer months. We did 3 games as away visiting fans. You can get a digital first certificate. Open air stadium, main concourses have no AC, apart from on club levels. The first evening game we did a lap around the main concourse and wow that heated us up, took forever to cool down. They do have huge monster water coolers spotted around. Walking from the convention centre there is nothing go on, no bars, restaurants anything. I believe there is more stuff south of the stadium. We hit up Ballpark Village one day, pretty blah. For the day game we sat shaded in the Red Bird Club, great city views up there - the view is really the stand out piece for the stadium. The Red Bird Club did have the long lines for concessions. Stand out food items : pastrami dogs and dinger donuts. read more
