I couldn't check in last night due to weather and seeking shelter.. but once the rain/Thunder/Lightening past it was Game On!! A little late (@10pm) but so Worth it!!! We had Excellent Seats!!! The Game was Fast and Furious... Won 5-1!!! If you want to sit and watch the game... Good Luck!! We stood for most of it!! All spectators were so nice and ready to Cheer on the Guys!!! There are lots of Food Options but just be prepared to pay Stadium Prices!!! We got a few slices of Dewey's Pizza!! Parking is high, especially how close you park ($45 at Union Station). The only downside I saw was... All the unsold Pizza at Dewey's was being shoved in trash bags.. so much food wasted.. I wonder if they could partner with a few Food Pantry type organizations to do better with this!!! I am sure it was not only Dewey's that had to waste food!! Or maybe just hand the slices out at the end of the Game!! Just a thought!!!

The franchise was founded in 1967 as one of the six teams from the 1967 NHL expansion and is named after the W. C. Handy song "Saint Louis Blues". The blues won the Stanley in the 2018-2019 season. That's their first and only win. This review is one in my goal to eventually review all of the teams in the NHL. Thing is I haven't been writing down the names of the teams I reviewed so far. Head smack! Any chance I get to watch the Blues on ESPN I take advantage. I'm watching a lot more hockey now that Spectrum included ESPN in my package. I'm paying enough. If you are a fan thank your blessings you got at least one championship! I'm recommending you keep supporting your cool team. I'm not just singing the blues...

Not only has St…read more Louis won a Stanley Cup recently (2019), but they're a perennial playoff team, have won 10 division titles, and through the last complete season (2019-20), they rank in the top 10 all-time in points percentage. Outside the Original Six, who joined the league from 1917 to 1926, the Blues have the most playoff appearances (44) of any active team. Before winning the Cup in 2019, the Blues had gone exactly 50 seasons without an NHL championship. In the Finals that year, St. Louis went the distance with Boston. The Blues edged the Bruins, four games to three, and won Game 7, 4-1, on the road at TD Garden in Boston. In his first year in St. Louis, center Ryan O'Reilly won the Conn Smythe Trophy (playoffs MVP). "The Factor" came up clutch in Games 4 through 7 of the Finals, going on a four-game goal-scoring streak. After the Blues fired third-year head coach Mike Yeo only a little over a month into the 2018-19 season, Craig Berube went on to become only the second interim coach to win the Stanley Cup. Less than two weeks after winning the championship, Berube signed a three-year contract to remain head coach of the Blues through the 2021-22 season. Two of the greatest players in franchise history are right-winger Brett Hull, who played for the Blues from 1988 to 1998, and center Bernie Federko, who played for the Blues from 1976 to 1989. Federko was drafted seventh overall in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft. He was the only player out of the 135 picked that year to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame (2002). "The Golden Brett" joined Federko in the Hall seven years later (2009). Hull and Federko currently hold the top two spots in points, goals, and assists in St. Louis regular season and playoff history. Their numbers - 16 and 24, respectively - were retired by the franchise along with five others. The Blues have had only two home arenas: (1) St. Louis Arena, a.k.a. the Checkerdome, across from Forest Park, where the team played from 1967 to 1994, and (2) the Enterprise Center, located in Downtown West, where the team has played since the facility first opened as the Kiel Center in 1994. Due to the 1994-95 lockout, the Blues didn't actually start playing in the Kiel Center until January 1995.

The first stop was the smash burger that comes with kettle chips. Delicious! I asked for extra pickles and they gave them to me. I love that the burgers are cooked right where customers can see. Next I tried the bratwurst with onions, peppers and dijon mustard. The dijon mustard ruined the taste. I love mustard and whatever they had was not good quality. The brat and peppers were good. The chicken wings from Chicken Scratch were ok! The dry rub had a nice flavor but that creamy, dill dipping sauce?! I COULD DRINK IT!!! I also purchased a cutwater and a hot chocolate. I didn't expect much from the hot chocolate but it was soooo good & piping hot! Overall, the food options offered here are guaranteed to satisfy everyone. They have your usual chicken tenders and fries all the way to cheesesteaks, tacos, bbq, ice cream, biscuits...you can find something to eat here!

The venue is always immaculate and kept in outstanding condition. Entry is seamless thanks to modern security and ticket-scanning technology, making it fast and easy to get through the gates and into your seats without the usual stadium hassle. That efficiency really sets the tone for a great fan experience from the moment you arrive. One of the best parts of Energizer Park is the incredible lineup of local food and drink vendors. The variety is fantastic, and it's refreshing to see so many St. Louis favorites represented, truly local supporting local. It adds an authentic hometown flavor that makes match days feel uniquely ours. I love this park, and I love my St. Louis City SC. The energy, the supporters, and the atmosphere make every match unforgettable. Let's go City!!!

Located in downtown St. Louis, generally a safe area but you can't venture too far from the stadium, "touristy" things. Ballpark village is a cool setup as well with different restaurants and bars. When you enter the stadium and view out towards the centerfield backdrop, you catch a glimpse of the city skyline and that's a homerun in and of itself! I never knew St. Louis had such a majestic skyline. I think of New York, Chicago and Seattle to name a few that really have statuesque skyscrapers and such. But here at Busch Stadium, everyone knows the "Gateway to the West" is the St. Louis Arch, and it towers in the distance as the primary focal point for a perfect setting. Then...you add the reliable fans into the entire equation (and their passion for their Cardinals), and St. Louis really is a first class baseball city. I visited in early spring and although the team was off to a disappointing start, even for a Memorial Day game against the cross-state rival Kansas City Royals, the attendance was 47,000 people, which is pretty much a sellout. I stopped at the box office looking to purchase a ticket the day of and there weren't many options to pick from. There were outfield bleachers for $50 or...I could buy a SRO ticket..."Standing Room Only" for $15. Briefly I thought in my head, ya know, why not take the SRO because it'll give me a chance to wander around the park at my leisure and not be committed to sitting for an entire game. And that's what I chose. For this SRO ticket, I could stand in any section wherever I wanted throughout the park, but of course, I chose the 400 level section down the 1st base line and it afforded me a beautiful scene of St. Louis' glorious backdrop. And these days with a Pitch Clock now included to speed up the pace of play, this Memorial Day game easily finished in under 3 hours. So, standing was no big deal. I'm surprised gates to Busch Stadium opened 2 hours prior to first pitch. Usually, it's 60 - 90 minutes. But, this gave me a chance to get in the best pictures possible without having to rush around and before the masses started filing in. Also, the Ballpark Village section just outside the park which hovers parallel to the outfield, was busy with activities, music, food and drinks offered. Another noticeable aspect were the amount of monuments dedicated to Hall of Fame players that have worn Cardinals uniforms. Players like...Bob Gibson, Lou Brock, Ozzie Smith, and even a special tribute to commentator Jack Buck. You can find these statues at the front entrance. Some extra notes... I was able to buy a Cardinals Gameday Scorecard for $3 as a little keepsake from attending. I never tried any of the food while here but St. Louis is known for their fried ravioli. Lastly, I must again give credit to the fans. They are passionate and loyal, and no matter whether the Cards are winning or losing, it's the crowd that makes the atmosphere at Busch Stadium very lively. They were even starting a "wave" chant around the stadium during the 6th inning while the home team was losing. Fans are there to celebrate America's Ole Pastime and if the Cardinals win, it's an added bonus and everyone leaves happily. In the end, I have Busch Stadium ranked #4 best ballpark out of the 30 MLB teams. Congrats to St. Louis and their rich heritage celebrating Cardinals baseball!

Review: Disney on Ice Feb 2026 I love live entertainment!…read moreThis event was for the kiddos... and of course myself & grandma too! (any reason to be a big kid again)! Tickets: I drove downtown to the box office to save on the extra convenient fees that are automatically added if purchased online through ticket master. Service: This time around, they were two employees working. One was a lady, I wanted to wait for the older guy who was already helping someone, as he seemed very helpful in giving her insights. The lady decided to open up her window and called for the next customer. She was EXTREMELY RUDE! Almost turned me away! I ended up telling her that I will take some time to look on the website myself because she seemed as though she didn't want to be of help, and was rushing me to make a decision (no one was waiting behind me). I quickly browse the web and decided to wait for the older gentleman as I first intended to. I am glad I did. He was VERY Helpful! We got seats very close to the ice for very low cost! He also offered his recommendations! Event: We opted for the 11AM event, large turn out, but mostly longer children as to be expected for that time during school hours. Lots of lighting & stage effects being utilized which I love. However, this maybe not safe for someone who struggles with seizure disorders. Concession Stands: As you can imagine, plenty of vendors to get ALL of your money with all the Disney on Ice Sovereign. Food: We opted for quick bites and cotton candies. Plenty of junk food to choose from! Parking: Limited street parking available. Near by lots available for a fee. Closer ones cost more. We opted for one diagonal the venue for $20, I believe it was card only. Also, the metro link has a stop right next to the venue's location! I've opted for that option before to cut cost. Recommendations: Kiddos enjoyed it and so did we! Definitely worth checking a show out!

The best hockey stadium in the world. Only fitting for the best fans in the world. I can say this. Hockey fans are so much better and lively than baseball fans. St Louis is known as a baseball city. They did an amazing job to make you feel welcome and appreciated. The nachos were good, but not great. The chips and cheese were very good. The meat was okay, but something was off with the meat in my opinion. It wasn't bad. It might have been the texture for me. The jalapeños were great. The portion size was huge. The refillable soda was huge. I thought I was going to get a refill. I couldn't even finish my Mellow Yellow soda. The only disappointing part it was the last game of the season. I enjoyed everything tremendously.
