It has a huge dining area with a full bar with seating. It has a down home country feel and televisions placed all around. Front and center is where you will find a stage that they use for live music performances. Our server was very friendly and nice. The bar serves a combination of Mexican and Southern food. Some of their popular items include: tacos, quesadillas, burgers, fried chicken, cheesesteak, barbecue, salads, chicken tenders and wings. They also have a full service bar with some signature cocktails. I got the cesar salad with a side of potato salad. I know, an odd paring bu that is what I was craving. It took about 12 minutes for me to get me food. The salad was pretty good. The potato salad was ok. Nothing special, and I have had better. I do not think it was homemade. Went to Tin Roof for brunch, the vibes were there, but service lacked. We came in and found our table in the back of the restruant, and it took the server about 20-25mins to greet us. We ordered our drinks and food and it took another 25 minutes before getting our food. Our server lil Ogdy seemed like he didn't want to be there or he was overwhelmed with the amount of people. The drink menu is a little confusing as they have bottomless mimosas but give you one bottle per 3 people and everyone at our table got charged for drinks even if they didn't drink. Went for there karaoke night (multiple times). The stage is great! The sound is great! The energy is great! BUT, if you actually want to sing, be prepared to wait a LONG time. First, they'll skip ahead two dudes no matter what time they get there. And after they sing, the KJ will call them up again (after a musical interlude) and they'll do a 3-song medley before the next person gets their turn. Cool straightforward bar with solid food and live music. I went for dinner on a Thursday night with a friend. We split the chicken and waffles and sides of mexican corn, corn bread, mac and cheese, and the moon pie sundae dessert. The chicken and waffles came with two sides on its own (I think all of the entries do). Splitting all of the items listed above was the perfect amount of food for the two of us. The food reminded me a little of the type of food you would get at a Chilli's or an Applebee's, but my friend and I loved it. The only thing I didn't really like was the moon pie sundae, but I don't really like moon pie's. It was the only desert they had though. The mac and cheese was a little unexpectedly, spicy but still great. The water comes in huge plastic cups that I think are meant for beer. They didn't come by to refill our waters at all though. Our waiter and the bartender were both very nice. I will probably not seek this place out if I am looking for a nice dinner, but if I want to get some solid bar food or listen to some live music this is a great spot. read more

Extremely disappointed...sat and waited to be greeted, offered a drink, or simply BE ACKNOWLEDGED. 2 employees serving walked passed me multiple times, served the tables AROUND me but never stopped and said anything to me. My Valentine's Day was spent at a singles event at Tin Roof. I had never been there until then. The place is HUGE, and features a big stage, long bar, and plenty of tables to choose from. Even the bathroom area is nice and spacious! There are a lot of TVs throughout the space, including right on the wall at each booth. The food that we had which was part of the event featured chicken and waffle appetizer bites, quesadillas, chips and salsa, and teriyaki meatballs. The chicken and waffles had good flavor and were better when warm than when served cold. One of my waffles was crunchier than a potato chip when served cold. The quesadillas weren't bad, but the salsa had a bland flavor and runny consistency. The meatballs had good flavoring but were really, really salty. If you're looking for a cool sports bar downtown, close to the stadium but not the usual spots, I highly recommend giving Tin Roof a go. read more
