When we arrived, the shop was bright and clean, we checked in at the kiosk and seated immediately. Our nails tech were kind and did a great job-and quickly! I went today to get a fill and I got somebody new and it took a very long time for him to get it done and there's some bumps and ridges on it and the French tip doesn't look the same for each nail. Just moved back to the area after almost 9 years. I wanted to find a spot I could get my nails done easily. Posted on a few Facebook groups and was introduced to this place. Called and asked if they had availability and they did. Went in and got a pedi, removed my old dipped nails, and put on a new matte coat, and finished with a nice eyebrow wax. There was only a small wait when I first got there. Mr Jimmy said they were a bit short staffed that day. But once they started working on me it was so quick. I got my Pedi done first. I made sure to bring flip flops this time because I ALWAYS forget. The tech working with me was really nice. I let her know about a previous broken toe and to just be gentle with it. The water was warm for my feet. The chair had a massager on it, so I was able to have that too. Then Jimmy did my nails. He was really cool and really quick. I had a horrible experience with a new Lash Lounge in Odessa That I wanted to try because DekaLash was not delivering on the service that they started in the beginning. Well, To say the least, it was just unbelievable with what I walked out on on my lashes and the owner actually signed off on it as if it looked great and it was supposed to be a volume set. It was a joke!! I can't even explain In words how bad it was all I can say is Lash Lounge is not gonna make it unless they get a new owner that knows the difference between lash categories!!! This lady had no clue. They literally acted like I looked great and I have pictures to prove it was the worst! So since I was super stressed and super anxious because I had somewhere to be this Saturday and didn't know what to do because my motto is that usually if anybody's really really good at what they do they're booked up for the next several months, so MY HUSBAND found this place online. He sent a text And the owner responded immediately and MY HUSBAND sent me up an appointment for 2 PM today They made my lashes look 100 times better than what I was supposed to have & my nails to perfection!!!! We had a girls trip to Tampa celebrating my daughter's birthday and wanted to support a Black owned nail salon to start our vacation. While Kayden and Leslie were great and did a wonderful job (acrylic gel full set, regular mani, and gel pedi), the Asian owner, who sounded Black when I called to book our appointments, was NOT Black. Upon his arrival he was however, very appreciative we came and also personable as he introduced himself. The salon has a nice vibe and offered a variety of beverages After leaving I double checked Google and it turned out all the description boxes were checked in the profile and while strategic, it is also very misleading. We wouldn't have traveled almost 30 minutes from the airport area to the Busch Gardens area had we known it was NOT a Black owned nail salon. read more

Not once in this business response to my review did the owner acknowledge what happened to me... it's all about me me me and not about the customer. Thanks for proving my point. Mistakes happens like I said but it's how you handle those mistake that show a business true nature.... And I believe they showed there.. It's all about them and not the customer. A true worth of an establishment is when something goes wrong and it will is how they resolve it. Through no fault of my own they neglected to document my appointment, an appointment that I made over 2 weeks before and when I got there instead of telling me this they let me sit in the salon for half an hour. All the while telling me my tech who was never told about my appointment is on the way. I then ask after a half an hour what was going on and still not getting a clear answer they decided to placed me with a tech who did not know what they were doing and they totally messed up my feet, I then tried to tell the tech but instead of trying to fix the problem she went berserk and started to yell in the salon and totally embarrassed me. I tried to explain this to the owner who would not listen to me and then started to scream at me about the personal problems he was having and he also hung up the phone on me . All I was trying to do was let them know like they say for u to do when something and this is how they treat you. This is their definition of quality customer service.To the owners please don't respond to this review with your fake rehearsed response. You already did by not listening to a word I was saying, screaming at me, and hanging up the phone. Do what you do best - lie to your customers, treat your customers when they have a concern like garbage while telling them about your personal issues, and oh yes hang up the phone on them. Don't make the mistake I did and go to busches nails and lashes.
