Her rudeness, aloofness, and just plain disgust of people is apparent. As I reached for the door my heart was pounding. I walked inside to several ladies around the front desk. I was greeted immediately and gave them my name and reservation time. She mentioned I was early however I told her I had to leave the house because I might just have canceled my reservation due to anxiety... she chuckled and told me I'd be just fine but that she totally unsatisfactory. Elaina (I think name was) checked me in and explained to me all the waxing passes they have and what each of the products did. I sat down and waited for about 30 mins but I totally didn't mind... I got there super early so I was absolutely fine with waiting. It made me feel more comfortable. Michelle was my wax girl... she immediately started comforting me with conversation. It was a lil awkward at first but Michelle was fantastic. She explained the process and what she was doing with each step. She also explained the after care to me. I'll definitely be back. I've been going to European Wax Centers for over six years, but I recently visited the Brandon location. It is located in a plaza with a big parking lot. The GPS led me directly to the location. Upon arrival, I was greeted and checked in. I waited for less than five minutes prior to being taken back. I had an appointment and that was easy to make over the phone. The tech was friendly and was easy to talk to. She did a good job on my service and I would definitely return. Once we finished, the tech walked me out and showed me their different products. I did not feel pressure to buy anything; instead she was very knowledgeable and answered my questions on products. I did buy an exfoliate and found it quite pricey but hopefully it's really good quality. When you check out, they ask if you would like to schedule your next appointment and also show you different plans they offer. Again, they provide you the information and do not pressure you to do any plan or buy any products. I would definitely recommend this location and will definitely be back. read more

I've been coming here for the past year for Brazilians and eye brow sculpting. I love European Wax Center because it's super easy to book online and earn points towards credits/products. I always book with Sade, she's seriously amazing and fast. I've only ever waited about 10 minutes in the waiting room and I find that they mostly run on schedule or ahead of schedule. I travel all the way from Clearwater now to this location because I love Sade and the front of house staff. read more

The staff was great, very friendly, very clean environment. However, my wax looks like my 4 year old did it. I booked a full Brazilian, which started off fine and wach pull sure felt like I'd be leaving as bald as I entered into the world, but not a single clean up strip was done. It's growing back patchy and uneven and my cooter lips alone look like they're on week 4-5 of a wax and this Thursday only makes 2 weeks since my visit. THANK YOU for opening this location as the drive to downtown can be a bit too much. I literally enjoy my overall experience because I get my wax needs handled then casually shop at the various stores, yet Home Goods is my fav in case you didn't know what's in there LOL! You should also request OZZIE!!! Hands down one of the best I've had. She is so sweet and diligent when it comes to her job, and ensures that all my cracks and crevices are smooth! AND she does it in a timely manner.. I seldom have to spend more than an hour there. I booked my appointment yesterday and let the lady know I had a change of number and my account could be found under the old number. When I showed up to my appointment I was told they called and texted me to verify my appointment had been cancelled because the tech wasn't feeling well. I explained I had a new number and I mentioned that yesterday. When I asked to get my money refunded for the last wax pass I was told it had no value because apparently the was came with 3 free waxes. So beware before making a wax pass purchase that they will try to pull this. read more

I really appreciate the girls getting me in on short notice I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant and soon to be induced . I really want to get one last wax in before I'm house arrested with a newborn lol. We had an appointment with "Carol" not only was she 15 minutes late all she had to do was take the short curly hair behind my moms neck (not much hair)something Jane at the riverview European wax center always did. Not only did she not trim the hair AT ALL before trying to wax which is common sense she also took normal length hair off which we specifically asked her to not do. Then she stopped waxing because my mom's skin was "too red" because she kept pulling at the same spots which STILL HAD SOME HAIR so now my moms left with a small patch of hair right in the middle that is absurdly way too short and way too high up in her hairline. Carol didn't even bother to go in with the tweezers or anything told us to do it at home after paying $17 for the service and she left her neck dirty with wax residue. Throughout the whole ordeal she was waving the sticks with the wax carelessly not worrying about where it landed or touched. I don't know if she just doesn't care or is new or what but we will definitely NOT be returning to this place and I suggest you not to book with Carol. And to the owners please hire qualified people who know what they're doing because waxing is painful as it is. read more

I give it 5 stars because It was an easy process from the time I walked in to the time I left. I didn't have time to schedule an appointment so i opted for a walk in. The receptionist was awesome and I was seen within a few minutes. My wax specialist was Elba and although a wax will never be painless she sure did make it go by as quick as possible. I was happy with my results so much so I went ahead and booked the wax pass. I will be back soon. I've been to the dale Mabry location for my first wax so I'm happy that the Brandon location is open. read more

Staff is very friendly! Waxing specialist did not get every hair which is quite frustrating...but totally understandable! Wish I had noticed it before leaving. I have been here many times and they have never brought my back on time. Not once. They are usually 10-15 minutes late, which is ridiculous. They definitely overbook people by the looks of it. I come here only because I work 5 min down the road, so it's convenient for me to come on my lunch break. I am probably going to switch stores, because it should not take me an hour or more to get a wax. I've been to other EWC locations and have never had this issue. On the other hand, the staff is EXTREMELY sweet. They are always very nice and polite. Elba is so great to get a Brazilian with! I just wish they were on schedule. read more

It's a chain but no worries. I first found out about this chain when I went to the downtown location for a year. I was absolutely so excited when I found out that they were opening one up in Brandon. As soon as they opened up, three months late, I made sure to try it out. I've been to the locations downtown, Saint Pete, and Brandon and can say that Management should pat themselves on the back. Their standards don't slip regardless of the location you go. They always nail it on the front desk experience, being on time, and doing work in a quick and efficient manner. I have committed to their wax pass program for over a year now and I definitely say it's worth every penny. You will not find a more inexpensively priced Waxing spot that does such a great job at such an amazing price point. If there's any complaint about this Waxing spot is probably that the parking lot can be absolute packed at times. It's in the same parking lot as Aldi grocery store and home goods. read more

They asked for my Florida ID which I haven't been able to get yet because of COVID-19 but they accepted a random piece of mail with my address and said my first appt was FREE.
