Visited Happy Nails Salon over the weekend with my wife and daughter after my daughter's graduation celebration. I'll admit, I'm normally not much of a mani/pedi guy, but I decided to take one for the team, and I'm glad I did. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff was incredibly meticulous and attentive throughout the entire experience. I have a very limited frame of reference when it comes to nail salons, but I thought they did a fantastic job. More importantly, both my wife and daughter were extremely pleased with their services and even commented on how nice my hands and feet looked afterward. Very disappointing experience, especially because I made it clear from the beginning that I was limited on time. Their website says they open at 9:00 AM, and I was the first person there. No one arrived to open the salon until around 9:30. When they finally opened, I immediately explained that I was in a rush and only needed a basic gel manicure. Even though I was the first customer there, the lady told me she didn't know how to do a gel manicure and proceeded to take two other customers who had walked in after me. She then asked me to wait for another lady to arrive who could supposedly do my manicure. When that lady arrived, instead of taking me, she started a pedicure on a man who had just walked in. At that point, I was sitting there watching two employees help multiple customers who had all arrived after me, while being told that neither of them knew how to do a basic gel manicure. I completely understand if a service isn't available or if a particular employee isn't trained to provide it, but that should have been communicated upfront instead of repeatedly taking customers who arrived after me--especially after I had already explained that I was short on time. Between opening 30 minutes later than the time listed online and the way customers were taken out of order, the experience felt extremely unprofessional and was a waste of my limited time. read more

Being that I had recently moved to the area, I was looking to find a nail salon close to my new home. Unfortunately, although this nail salon is closest in proximity to me, I would rather go somewhere further and would recommend going elsewhere. My initial encounter with Kelly at this location was very disappointing. Since it was my first time in and due to an important upcoming event, I was interested in viewing their color selections and potentially doing something more "exciting" than my usual trip to the salon usually entails. Kelly was absolutely unhelpful and inattentive when I would ask questions about their products or services. My entire interaction with Kelly dealt with her providing rude and brash responses. I had trouble understanding what she was explaining to me on several occasions as what she said did not seem to make sense. She was clearly not invested in providing a warm welcome nor extraordinary customer service. Since the color options that Kelly showed me initially were dull and uninteresting I had opted to have her just finish a very basic pedicure and manicure for me with no color. Additionally, this was upsetting as I was interested in looking at their pedicure menu options and was not even asked what kind of pedicure services I wanted. Not sure as to why some patrons at this salon were able to select their pedicure of their liking while others were not. Secondly, to my dismay, when I was at the counter ready to check out, Kelly informs me of the total & when I asked for an itemized receipt she told me "no". I don't understand why this is not permissible as I would definitely like to know what I was exactly paying for being that she barely did anything and the price was steep all things considered. Eventually, because of this distressing encounter, I asked if someone else could help me as I was exacerbated with this poor quality customer service and treatment. Another lady, perhaps the owner, did end up chatting with me and showing me a plethora of additional colors and options that Kelly never showed me. I did end up getting my nails colored by a very sweet and attentive girl at the end (whose name I unfortunately did not catch). read more

I had an appointment for 11:30, when I arrived I was told they were running late, 20 minutes later I was seated. I showed a photo of what I wanted (see last pic) the lady I believe she along with her husband are the owners looked at it and began working. ( she stopped throughout, fixing another girl's nails, answering the phone at least 3 times, perhaps they're understaffed) The first acrylic she used didn't set before she began filing it so it was coming off in chunks...she said she doesn't understand why it didn't set, so she filed it off and used a different acrylic...using the two different acrylics left my nails different shades in areas. Not to mention they look nothing at all like what I requested in the photo. I have lumps of acrylic under my nails, she put onky one coat of top coat on and It took almost 2 hours.. She did apologize and give me a $5 discount but I wouldn't go back or recommend. read more

Clean place that is close to my house and is efficient. They have tons of colors and I usually do gel for my hands and their quality is good since I can usually keep it for like a month. I usually go to Ana who is great and she also does it for everyone in my family too. They have free soda and water. The place doesn't smell too much and you can usually walk in any time. Our experience here was great! We had one appt. for the acrylic nails and two walk ins for the gels and they were able to fit us in without making the two appts. The nail tech who did my nails and my mom's (the two gel manicures) was Mia and she was so polite, kind, helpful with choosing my colors, and so gentle and careful with her work. This is by far the best design I've ever gotten done on my nails. She did such a great job and my nails turned out so clean and pretty. I'm not sure who the nail tech was that did the acrylic nails for my sister, but he did a good job with the shape and design.
