They were both incredibly friendly, funny, and made our experience super enjoyable. We ended up playing our first round with a large childrens birthday party where the kids stomped us in rankings. Definitely a blast, even if we didn't know them. The second and third game were played with just us two. The arena is HUGE and of course dark. With the different obstacles and maze-like set up, it is actually pretty scary snooping around looking for one person. We ended up unintentionally scaring each other so bad so many times that we almost lost our voices. It was a total blast. The prices are great, staff is friendly, and the games whether with a huge group or just one on one are incredibly fun. We will definitely be back and bringing friends. Rates are great, they have two-dollar per game specials most weeknights. They also have a reasonably priced menu of entrees, snack foods, and appetizers (the soft pretzel is huge!). The bartenders always seem to be having a good time, and the atmosphere here is very fun. It's always nice when you're at a place of business and the employees are clearly enjoying themselves but are also helpful and attentive if you need anything. Highly recommended!

Basketball hoops, baseball fields. We enjoy going to watch grandson play baseball, and bring the younger grandchildren to the park to play. I wasn't sure what to expect as I've been to one day rally's in the past and been very disappointed. This venue did not disappoint. There is a sportsman clubhouse which has a full bar, completely unexpected. There is plenty of parking, RV lots and a boat launch. There is plenty of areas for setting up chairs along the river and there are also picnic tables along the river. There were good food truck vendors for the rally. There were also quite a few cool vendors as well. This place seems it would be beautiful and relaxing in the summer. It was certainly beautiful in early spring.

My first review by campfire light…read more I came along with my boy scout son for a weekend at Tinicum Park in Erwinna, Pennsylvania, just across the Delaware River from Frenchtown, New Jersey. It is not a big park, but has a simple camp facility in an Ash grove a few hundred yards from the water. I remember campout food as being oddly delicious, even with the extra grit and rustic outdoor kitchen, but these days with lightweight stoves and propane flex lines, the campfire is just for night stories. Cooking is much easier, if somewhat less rewarding. Still, I don't think I'll ever get accustomed to deep fried Oreos. The Chicken Tenders and Penne with Ragu were decent after a hike into Frenchtown, and several hours of scout skill training, football, and boys being boys. I even found about 90 minutes to break away and return for R & R at the National Hotel and The Bridge Café while the boys were off on another adventure. Those reviews to follow. Tinicum may not be the first place you think of when considering an upriver jaunt, but if you are into a night or two of roughing it (with a run to Ftown for cocktail and lunch overlooking the river) than it might be the perfect spot to make magic happen.
