It had been so long since I had been here. We went on bring a friend weekend since we have family that are members. I would say one thing right off the bat I didn't like is that there are no automatic doors and the doors are heavy to whether which makes it really hard if you have a stroller or wheelchair. Was really shocked by this. Then, you can't bring any outside food and drink which I think is silly considering you have toddlers who snack nonstop and need water. Everything else though is really adorable and there is enough to do for a variety of age groups. Staff is friendly. Was a fun experience.

I wasn't sure what to expect based on past reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised this little town is so cute and there were so much fun stuff to do. If my nephew had been older we could've probably spent the whole entire day there. Some of the activities look so fun. I wanted to try them myself! Even though it was busy with lots of people, their management and system of helping customers kept things running smoothly with virtually no wait time! There was a few activities that were for ages six and up so I couldn't do them with my nephew which warrant and another visit when he's a little older!

Spent 5 hours and had a great time. Any age will enjoy this experience. 4 floors of fun. There is a food court with lots of kid choices. I was with my grandkids ages 8, 3, and 1. I also had my 14 yr old son and he enjoyed it too. We definitely recommend it.

Took advantage of Crayola's "preschool days" that run from Jan 27- Feb 28 and allow FREE weekday entry for kids age 3 & 4 and took my 4 year old to have some fun. Upon arrival there was no specific parking lot for Crayola so we had to park in an open air parking lot nearby for $10 (cash only). Once inside we got a FREE annual pass for my husband who is military (active and veterans included in this offer). We got my toddler in for free and only I paid. It's about $26 per person that we saved, so it does make a difference. The experience itself is 4 floors! There is something for everyone in each floor. I did appreciate the toddler playground and the kid playground and the amount of things to do. We made a crayola crayon with our names on it, which was pretty cool. My daughter also got some free scribble toys to draw on and we all got free gummies for the month of love (February). There were a lot of interactive stations and lots of drawing/coloring opportunities! We went on a Thursday at 1pm and stayed until closing time at 5pm and wasn't able to do everything so that'll tell you how much there is to do there. Overall, I think it's a great place to keep your kids busy but definitely a space for kids 10 and under. We saw the teenagers sitting around and not really entertained. I do think the annual pass is the way to go if you live nearby as it does come with 20% off goodies and even birthday parties plus it's not that much more than the entrance fee. It was a great time had, thanks Crayola!

Crayola + Kids??? You really cannot go wrong here. This was a verrrry, verrrrrrrry fun experience for our kids. Yes, the Crayola Experience building doesn't really look huge on the outside...and it isn't, but don't underestimate the tons of fun, games and interactive activities packed into the 4 floors here. We came by on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend at about 10:30 AM (they operate from 10 AM - 6 PM on Saturdays) and luckily got the last parking spot at the South Third Street Parking Lot. For first-timers wondering about parking, unfortunately, the Crayola Experience does not have a private lot, but there is metered street parking right outside of the Crayola Experience. However, the meters right outside are up to 2 hours only, but, I assume you can probably keep refilling the meter with an app - although I couldn't see if or what app was associated with those parking spots. Anyhow, for the South Third Street Parking Lot, which is a short 1.5 blocks away, the meters are up to 4 hours ($1 per hour) and I can attest to the fact that you can refill it, via the ParkMobile app, as many times as you want, only after the time expires. So, for those needing more than 4 hours at the Crayola Experience, which I assume is most visitors, this is your best bet. Once we got into the building, we had to wait on the line like everyone else, even though we pre-purchased online tickets, but the wait was relatively short. Once through, that's it, your kids are ready to have a BLAST. Like I said, there are 4 floors to the building, with the Crayola Cafe located on the 1st. My recommendation to experiences like this is to tackle it at the top and work your way down, but COMPLETELY up to you. Each floor has its own activities, which comprise of art activities (e.g. ring or racecar molding, paint art, coloring printouts with crayons), an indoor playground, robot-driven drawings of your face, cartoon printouts of you, being able to name your own crayon, watching a live show about the crayon making process, collect "passport" stamps of different crayon colors in a passport booklet, etc. There is absolutely LOTS to do here and, if it's your first time, you'll easily be here for 4-5 hours. As for food you might ask because obviously your kids have to eat at some point - so they don't let you bring food in, although the bag checking process is quite minimal so you can try to bring food or snacks at your own risk. With that said, the area is packed with restaurants including the Easton Public Market, which is right across the street. And, best of all, they allow for re-entry as long as you get a stamp on your hand. We ended up just dining in the Crayola Cafe though for convenience, which as you would expect serves your typical fast foods - pizza, burgers, fries, tenders, etc. It wasn't terrible, but it's not great either. After we had left the building, we actually walked through the Easton Public Market and I so regretted not trying the vendors there because the food looked so much better (e.g. ramen, BBQ, pizza, etc.). Anyhow, the Crayola Experience was WELL WORTH the 1 hour drive and price of admission for us. You only need 1 day to visit and see and do everything and our kids really enjoyed their time here. It's no amusement park, but there's plenty of fun packed into this building.

I have been here twice because I have a membership. Definitely look for those holiday deals to make your monies worth. I was able to snag a 2 year membership for 39.99 during a Black Friday deal. I'm not sure if that's the best deal, but I thought that was a good deal since most memberships are generally only 1 year. I personally wouldn't dine here. Did it the first time around and there was nobody in front of me yet the food took a LONG time to come. I would suggest dining outside, as there are many good food options within walking distance. My kids LOVE this place and ask to come back as soon as the following day. There's many activities for the kiddos, like melting crayon to make spinning art, a ring, and a sports car. There's other arts and craft with crayons and markers. There's also an indoor playground which seems pretty packed but fun. Also you can create your own crayon and put any words or your own name on the crayon label. Nice way to personalize a crayon for keepsake or a small gift for a friend or family. Highly recommend if you have younger kids

Visited Crayola Experience on Friday for my kids birthdays and it was great! My kids birthday are 12 days apart and for the last few years I have done separate birthdays, so this year I decided that I wanted to do one big celebration at once lol. We drove up Thursday from MD and stayed at a nearby hotel which was an amazing stay! (I will also be doing a review for the hotel) I didn't have to worry about parking because we walked from the hotel which was only a 5min walk. There are so many interactive activities to do there. My daughter turned 10 and my son turned 5 and they're was plenty of activities for them both to enjoy together very engaging and fun. The place was clean they have plenty bathrooms and there's a cafe and different stations where food & snacks are available and also a gift shop. I purchased my tickets online and since my daughter birthday was on Monday it was free for her. This place is perfect for special or even regular occasion and there's plenty to do!

We went here on a Monday during my son's spring break with my sister, cousin, and their kids. The kids had a great time and we had fun watching them. Pros: -Fun interactive exhibits. -I feel the price is worth it, our kids had fun in each exhibit. We took home a lot that day between crayons we "named" and got to put the label on, modeling clay, a scrubbie buddy, various projects they completed while there, a molded race car crayon, etc. -Play structure for kids to let out their energy for a bit -A lot of places for parents to sit (provided it's not too crowded) while their kids explore and play. -I enjoyed the emphasis they put on retired colors, and the fact that you could label some of them, and all were available for purchase -Snacks for purchase were a better price than most places like this. -Most of the people working there were friendly and informative Cons -It does fill up quick and once there are crowds it feels overwhelming -An iPad room where kids can sit on iPads to play on crayola's free app. - it's nice to be introduced to the app but most parents bring kids to places like this to get them away from screens. The kids wanted to linger here for a bit and it felt like such a waste of time. My sister used to go to Crayola all the time with her eldest daughter and the room used to be a dark room where you explored shadow play and light/color in dark. These type of experiences and discovery are what we come to these places for, not an iPad and an app we can get at home. -The snack stand is in the middle of one of the busier rooms, and it doesn't lead to a place where you can sit and eat easily. We bought snacks and awkwardly ate them in the following exhibit. -Two of the associates we came across were a bit sarcastic and rude. Nothing major but it's disappointing especially in a place geared toward kids. However, most of the staff was great. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely go back, but I'm also not counting down the days until our next visit.

We loved coming here recommend during the week as I imagine the weekend too busy. They had lots of activities for toddlers. You could make crayon labels, crayon rings or cars, play area inside and meet a crayon figure we met Danny D. Highly recommend

So fun and interactive like personalizing your own crayon. Love this place so much! Really good for kids. I could spend all day there!!

That was an experience for sure. Unsure if we came on the wrong day and/or time, but there were so many lines and families for each station. It was super loud and crowded, and this for sure is not a place for people or kiddos who get overstimulated. A lot of the activities felt like things I would do with my kiddo at home like drawing, art spiral which is something he has at home, mold making, etc. My kiddo enjoyed it for sure as there was a big play area in the middle of the Crayola Experience and got to touch everything in sight. I felt it was quite underwhelming. Hoped to see how crayolas were made, or mix crayolas together to make a fun new Crayola. Highlight was able to get our own Crayola label but you need a token for that. Maybe I would go on a weekday morning. Metered street parking was accessible.

I finally visited the Crayola Factory!!! I've been meaning to make this trip for a few years. Last Friday I accompanied my son on his first grade school field trip here. I will say it was a fabulous field trip. (even though the bus trip for us was quite long.) The children had a fabulous time learning. They have a variety of different stations, where the kiddos do some fun stuff with crayons. We even went to a show that explained how the crayons are made. The children are encouraged to use their creativity. Of course my son's favorite spot was the gift shop! I must say the prices weren't that bad. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend stopping by.

We came here closer to the late afternoon on a Saturday. There were less people and hence little to no lines for the very cool and interactive activities. We needed about 3 hours. The staff were almost all young students - very sweet and great in explaining each station. But overall, I felt completely lost on what to do, so here it is: They give each person two tokens and a card to exchange for a scrubbie animal. Use tokens for three optional things: 1) on the 2nd floor, create your own crayon wrapper for various colors and roll it on yourself. You can name the color and add a small design. 2) on the other side of the 2nd floor, go to the vending machine and select a packet color of dry clay. 3) go to a machine to receive one extra washable marker which can be used on your scrubbie pet. The scrubbie pet is on the same area as the vending machine with the packets of dry clay. You can color these pets and then wash, dry and start over again. There are also many stations to do included activities. On the lower part of the second floor they have stations where you can get a photo/looks like a sketch drawing of yourself that prints out. You can also paint using dried crayon. On the 3rd/4th floors you can create a puzzle, make crayon rings or cars, and also spin dried crayon wax onto a paper. You come home with a lot which is incredible! I wish there was a better overview of this on their website or described to me. I relied on many nice parents who clearly go there regularly. Btw don't sleep on their popcorn -- a must buy and eat!

But you don't have to care about snapping cute pics to appreciate that Fairy Tale Forest is an absolute wholesome delight for children and for adults to live their childhood nostalgia. There is a real magical forest feel as you wander through the park, which isn't large, but the life-size storybook cottages and fairy tale sets are beautifully detailed and lovingly restored. The grounds are clean and well-manicured (a sign says the gardens are curated by Raine Garden Designs). A list of daily events & activities are posted such as magic shows, live music, and character meet & greets. The staff and actors are all warm and friendly. My child loved running around and exploring, participating in the activities, but I enjoyed it just as much if not more. There are shaded picnic tables under umbrellas (next to the Bluebird Stage so you can catch a show while you eat). The food is from the on-site restaurant Fables, and is quite good, certainly better than your average amusement park fare (I was really happy to get a proper salad!). The restaurant is only open for private parties/events/rentals at the moment, but I'm told they hope to have it up and running at some point. The interior is also themed. There is a reasonably priced gift shop with a nice selection of toys, souvenirs, costumes, and gifts. I would say this park is suitable for younger kids, maybe up to 8 or even an unjaded 10yo (have your kids dress up as knights, wizards, princesses, and fairy tale characters!). It's also kind of a cool spot for a date. This is an "analog" park with some animatronics, and you shouldn't expect any dazzling razzmatazz or high-octane thrills. Six Flags it ain't. But come with the right mindset for the unique experience this is and you won't be disappointed. It's good ol' fashioned throwback family fun and brings back an era that doesn't exist anymore. Indeed, many NJ locals have fond memories of this park from when they were young. It was built in the 1950s by an industrious German dude and features scenes from Grimm's Fairytales that his mother used to read to the family, and was expanded with more set pieces over the next couple of decades. Unfortunately it closed down in 2003 and FINALLY reopened last year, after efforts were stalled during the pandemic. All I can say is goooo and visit this charming, singular, and uncorporatized attraction, and support a still founding family-owned local business. It's a complete joy!

There was a long line to get in at first, but I think that's mostly an opening rush situation. If you arrive just a little after opening, it would likely be much smoother. Definitely recommend buying tickets online ahead of time, since that's much easier than waiting at the kiosk. Once inside, there were a ton of rides for different ages. My son was able to ride many attractions by himself, which made it even more fun for him. I also have a two-year-old, and she was able to enjoy a few rides as well. Just something to note, adults do need a ticket too if you want to ride along with your child. Overall, it's a fun and convenient spot with lots to do for kids of different ages, especially if you plan ahead a bit.

When we arrived, everything was up and running as if it were daytime. All the games, rides and attractions were in service. I rode Go Karts for the first time in yearrrs and I actually came in first place. Me! That was dope. The BIG FUN though was all the water rides. Lazy River, pool tubing and the main pool were all open and full of people ready for a great time. We were treated to a DJ who understood the crowd assignment and shoutout to the most wonderful staff. All employees on this night were in a great mood and they gave party vibes too. The promoters didn't over sell this event, so crowds and lines weren't a problem at all. I had such a blast that I wasn't even mad about getting my phone wet. I'm looking forward to going back to The Funplex for another After Dark night out. I thought they were gonna shortchange us but that didn't happen. We were given the whole experience. Good stuff!

We went on a weekday during spring break. We came for a 7 year old friend's birthday. My daughter and the birthday girl had a blast playing all the things. One of the girls is under 48" so that limited the rides available to her. Some things such as the go karts need an accompanying adult. It's adults did not get the passes for ourselves so they weren't about to do the go karts. Just something to keep in mind when planning ahead. Overall cute experience for being local.

We had SO MUCH FUN at Knoebels. Whilst in NEPA, the folks we were visiting here suggested going to…read moreKnoebels. They're regulars since it's within an hour drive for them. I wasn't sure at first but now I'm a fan. This is a pretty old-school park. There is no admission; instead, you buy ticket books at the park and "pay" using tickets. Many of the rides--at least the kid's rides--are $2.50 per ride. And apparently the tickets never expire; the people we visited with have used a decades-old leftover ticket book and it was accepted. It was really easy to use the tickets, which are in the book in $1 and 50-cent denominations. In addition to no entrance fee, they have free parking. I honestly don't know where I've been in a long time that has free parking; I don't even think the county fair in my hometown offers free parking anymore. They have acres of it but we didn't have to park too far away, perhaps because we got there a few minutes before the park opened. They have lots of disabled parking spots and there's also a tram with several tram stops. Inside the park, I saw several baby changing/nursing mothers stations. The rides are lots of fun. I mentioned before that they have kid's rides, but they in fact have an entire kiddie *section*. There are over a dozen rides that are only for kids, and have maximum height limits. We spent our time in this section of the park almost exclusively. The girls loved it, and so did I! It was so much fun to see them having a blast on these rides all by themselves. We spent a good chunk of our day here--we were there for 6 or 7 hours, I think--and still we missed a few. I'm bummed that we missed some but that just gives us something to look forward to next time we visit, which I hope is before my daughter hits the height limit for some of the rides since she's a tall kiddo. I'm not sure how it usually is, but we may have just come at the right time. We were here on a Saturday and our friends were surprised; usually they come on weekdays to avoid crowds, but it was not bad at all. It only took us 5 minutes or so in line to get ticket books. The upside to coming on a weekend, too, was that there were rides operating that aren't always open when they've come during the week. Whatever was happening on this day (which was Juneteenth weekend, so I expected it to be packed!), our kids were able to ride at least 5-6 rides within the first hour at the park and there were only a couple times the entire day where we had to wait in line to enter a ride--and even then, it was waiting in line for one ride to finish and then we got the kids on the next one. The longest line we waited on all day was to get some fries! Speaking of food, although we didn't get much, what we did get was great. We got the aforementioned fries, which they cut and cook right there. My friend's mom always gets ice cream when they visit, specifically the waffle sandwich, which I also got and it was so good I wish that other ice cream places did warm waffles instead of waffle cones. We got some cotton candy, and they had some very delicious frozen iced tea (I added peach flavor which was really good, and it was quite refreshing). There's several stores around where you can pick up souvenirs, too. We stopped at the apparel shop and got some t-shirts and sweatshirts. At the Christmas shop at the North Pole, we wandered around to check out the ornaments and Christmas decor. There was another shop that in all the times our friends have been here they said they didn't remember ever stopping at. They have postcards, so make sure to pick up some postcard stamps somewhere! I had so much fun and can't wait to return to Knoebels. I bought two $50 ticket books and we used exactly one book, so we're already ahead on our next visit. Perhaps the cutest ride in the park is the Pony Carts, which don't have real ponies but the kids ride in what looks like horse drawn carriages as though they're the cart driver. I did enjoy going on the Skloosh, which I went on with my daughter; even though she's only two she's a daredevil and loves a good water ride as long as she doesn't get splashed in the eyes too much. I only wish we'd been able to go on the other water ride! But I didn't actually miss or mind not going on rides; it was a wonderful day just watching the little ones in their joy and excitement.

Many of the employees have been kind, welcoming, and patient, which is why it disappoints me to have to write this review. Unfortunately, this is the second year I've experienced what I believe was discriminatory treatment toward my Black and Brown family, including my autistic children. This isn't something I'm saying because I was upset in the moment. These experiences were serious enough that I felt obligated to report them to Guest Services. We visited on July 9, 2026. My children are autistic and were wearing Knoebels' accessibility wristbands. We understand how the program works because we've visited before. The wristband allows individuals who cannot tolerate long waits to board through the designated accessible entrance according to the park's accessibility procedures. The first incident occurred at the Satellite ride. There were only two children waiting and virtually no line. My son went to the accessible entrance with his wristband, and the ride operator refused to let him board. I explained that he was autistic and showed his accessibility wristband. The operator acknowledged that he knew what the wristband was for, but still told my son to go wait at the regular entrance while allowing other children to board first. My son became increasingly distressed, repeatedly asking why he couldn't ride. Guest Services later told me that the operator had not followed the accessibility policy correctly and said they would report the incident to a supervisor. The second incident happened at the Looper. Three male ride operators were working that attraction. My son and nephew absolutely love this ride. They are polite, well-behaved boys, but like many autistic children, they ask a lot of questions and become excited about rides they enjoy. The park was not crowded, and there were little to no lines. I watched from a nearby bench as the boys rode several times. As time went on, I noticed the operators becoming visibly irritated whenever the boys returned. Eventually, the operators told them they had to wait 30 minutes before riding again. I understood that this applies when using the accessibility entrance, so I instructed the boys to simply enter through the regular queue instead, which only had a few children waiting. When they walked to the entrance, the situation escalated. One operator, Carl, scolded my nephew for going under a bar instead of walking around it, even though the children immediately ahead of him had done the exact same thing. When I respectfully pointed this out, Carl responded, "Well, I didn't see them, and stop shouting at me." I was not shouting. Another operator, Mark, then began yelling at me, telling me that if I had a problem, I should go to Guest Services. My sister became upset because of the way he was speaking to me. When my husband came over, Mark stated that he "yells at children all day long" and that our children were no different. I found that statement especially concerning given that he knew they were autistic. No employee should be yelling at children, regardless of disability. Supervisors eventually came over, but instead of addressing the employees' behavior, they largely defended it. One operator also insisted the boys had to wait another 30 minutes before riding again, despite the fact that they had unlimited ride wristbands and were now entering through the regular queue, where there was almost no wait. I asked why they hadn't simply told the boys they were welcome to use the regular entrance if they wanted to ride again. There was no response. I want to be clear that not every employee at Knoebels treated us this way. In fact, many staff members throughout the park were wonderful, patient, and kind to my family. However, these interactions left us feeling singled out, dismissed, and treated differently. Whether it was because of our race, our children's disabilities, or a combination of both, it was deeply upsetting. I sincerely hope Knoebels takes these concerns seriously by providing additional training on disability accommodations, respectful communication with families, and ensuring that all guests are treated equally and with dignity. We love this park and want to continue making memories here, but no family should leave feeling the way we did.
