I recently purchased a work of art at an Auction House in Brooklyn and contracted with Bushwick Post to go to Manhattan, pick up the item, pack it and ship it to me in Delaware. They responded quickly, unlike most of the other options suggested by the Auction House, quoted a reasonable price and did a FANTASTIC JOB! This place is so good. I can sometimes be a real idiot when trying to do online returns, and they are so intentional with me and always know what to do. Been going for years, but I was just there, and I showed up with like 6 packages at 4:55 (when they close at 5 on Saturdays), and Brian (owner) and the whole team were so patient with me and helped me get everything sent out--domestic and international destinations. They also patiently helped me set up a PO Box. So convenient and right near the train. Some people have referenced high prices here, but if they are higher than other places, (which hasn't really been my experience in Bushwick), it feels very worth it to me for the quality of the customer service they provide. read more

I have been coming here for years and always feel so supported, respected, and impressed with how insightful and knowledgeable everyone who works here is about shipping. They are always kind and patient which helps make shipping so much easier. What's more-I am trans and needed to update my passport photo-and they were so generous and empathetic about how difficult it can be to capture an image within state regulation that feels affirming. The first image I had printed just wasn't sitting well with me and when I came back a week later-they combed through the other images we took, helped me find one that I thought looked like my best self, and reprinted a new copy for me. I know it sounds dramatic, but this image will stay with me for the next decade of my life and I so appreciate them taking the time and care to be really considerate of how it feels to navigate the world as a trans person. I Dropped off a package Thursday it is now Tuesday four days later and my package is still not in the USPS system. I had to call three times to get someone to pick up the phone, a gentleman picks up I explain what's going on and his response is well there's nothing we can do if USPS is being lazy but you package is still here... when I was told the day I dropped off that it will be picked up next day. Can someone explain to me why am I paying a Dollar for every package I drop off ? What service is this? And let's not even talk about how rude and unprofessional they are!!! Staff is usually friendly. They could let you know a shipping service is down when you call ahead. Under new management so potentially improving as well. Updated with more stars as I want to support the business and offered more feedback. Business Review: I have now had the chance to visit a few more times and purchase a Business Private Mailbox. Each time we go to drop off packages the fee is different. Sometimes they don't charge me sometimes they do. Despite having a mailbox here there is still a fee to drop off packages. I would like to see this bundled in to my mailbox in someway. (Considering I receive no mail or packages incoming maybe these could also count for outgoing?) Adding an extra dollar to my shipping cost for every package is not sustainable for me. Especially considering I live closer to a Post Office and a free UPS drop point. I want to support small businesses but not at the cost of my own. Previous Review: No issues dropping off packages. Seem to take distancing and precautions seriously. read more

I chose to over look this but today I was recharged for a mistake they made on an address for a holiday gift which was returned. The manager here is sooooo miserable and it shows. I think her name is Stella. What a beautiful name for a totally grumpy pants baby lady. I actually feel bad for her. I swear next time she's rude with me, I'll say, "Look, you don't have to be here. Go find your passion and do that forever. There are other people in the world who'd be happy to have your job. You are clearly miserable here. The world needs people doing what they enjoy. Please for the love of all that is good in the world, go work somewhere else!" Everyone else who works there is actually pretty pleasant, though. But my other beef is no one seems to have a clear picture of what the policies are. One person told me I have to come in ON THE DAY that my mailbox expires to renew. That's so dumb. Then when I brought it up to Stella she was rude. As usual. All she had to do was explain the details, not lose her patience and repeatedly interrupt me. She said, "Well, if you'd let me explain it to you instead of talking and talking and talking at me." i recently moved into the area and wanted to ship out an item, upon arrival I was not helped , There was a girl there that had such a bad attitude , when i asked her questions she treated me like i was asking the most outlandish questions and answered in a sarcastic and condescending way. I went back again to finally ship out my item and i told her it was my first time because she treated me the exact same way very rude and condescending ! there was a nice gentleman that she passed me on to that completed my transaction however I left this store feeling so uncomfortable . I am unsure if she treats other customers this way however i live in the area and its unfortunate that i would never go there again ! She really needs to be trained on being a better person to customers ESPECIALLY people of color it can be seen as discrimination , If you do not correct this I WILL go to the NYC Dept of human rights ! that is how uncomfortable she made me read more

I've been a customer since 2017 when BP first opened since day one. It's so convenient to have a place that you can trust with your mail and packages. When Stella first open BP, she had in mind that there was other people in the neighborhood that was tired of having their packages stolen. I am one of them people. Working for Amazon, I think this is a smart idea for the residents of Bushwick to have. (If you did not know, BP also will deliver your packages to you if you requested) I've seen them grow a lot to having passport pictures taken to finger prints. The staff Johnathan, Emily, & Miguel are amazing. Every time you enter the store, they great you with a smile and your name. They work together to make sure you leave out a satisfied and if not?, they will truly recommend the BEST option for you. Despite having a package mix up one time, they was able to fix it in less than an hour (I was not waiting in the store, I went home and came back). I consider this amazing customer service. It's a ease to have access 24/7 to your mailbox as if it was attached to your house. When I get home late from work, I stop by with my access fob and get my mail from my box. If BP was to ever go out of business, I don't know what I would do. I get all my mail and packages here. I also have my 3 business mail come here. That's how much I trust BP. read more

I used to like this place the customer service WAS very good . They have new ownership I show up to get my package like normal because the scan from the post office show that it was delivered. I show up they tell me my package isn't there. In the meanwhile another customer walks in and says that he was given the wrong package by mistake. Which made me super nervous! They also claim to tell me that maybe it was next door which is an apartment building that the packages get delivered to all the time by mistake. my frustration continued with them as it was a Friday and I was told that there was nothing that they could do. how is it that your package is supposed to be addressed to a certain location they can't find it claims it was delivered now again these are the owners that said this to me ! I asked the other owner to go back and check again he refused to ! Just cause I said maybe a second set of eyes will help . He refused ! Again this is an owner . There seemed to be a odd dynamic between the two . when I asked if they were a couple which they said they were he then claimed I was being discriminatory and a homophobic. Which is not true my uncle is gay . Because their relationship was obviously getting in between their work ethic and effort . which was very clear and obvious to me. he then proceeded to take out his cell phone and record me claimed that he felt uncomfortable with me being there (Like a Karen) He forgot he was Asian maybe . frustrated with not having my package even though it said it was delivered there long story short Monday after the long weekend I get an email saying that my package is there I called to talk to employee they said that the Postal Service had not been there yet so that means my package was there all weekend!!! just sitting there while the owners who have an ego didn't feel like really looking for my package so I'm no longer a customer of Bushwick post the new ownership they are not professional they are obviously very confused about what they are doing and they will never get my money again I was treated like crap read more

Unfortunately, this place will charge you to drop off packages. So even though you've printed your own label and even packed your own box, you'll still be charged for pickup service, which under most circumstances, would be free. I'd suggest going the extra mile to drop off elsewhere. read more

TWICE - not once but twice I've mailed a package here and surprise surprise the package never gets where its suppose to go and it never comes back to me. The tracking numbers don't enter the system and all I'm left with is a receipt that is useless unless you have insurance. I don't want to say it out loud but I will infer that 'me thinks someone over there covets certain packages and takes them.' This last time June 27th I went back and spoke to the person that mailed it and he was so helpful in the store with all his promises and what he was going to do and NADA Funny how he's the one that weighed the original package, placed a label on it, gave me the receipt and nine days later the package still hasn't arrived and get this its not in the system. The other incident was a return for a product I didn't like and surprise surprise that package was never received. I frankly WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN. Don't drop anything off here for USPS since they take a really long time before it gets scanned into the system. Last time I came here on a whim and it took a week before it scanned in and it was priority mail. Today I can't contact them and they had my package since Monday and it is now Thursday and it still never got to USPS. 3 of those packages were overnight packages that have yet to even move from their storefront. read more

As a new Bushwick resident, I've been trying to find local businesses to make my go-to spots for all of my routine needs. Today I had to mail a package to Canada and buy some other shipping materials, so I decided to give this place a shot. And I am so glad I did. First of all, the shop is very clean, organized, and welcoming. I was able to easily locate all of the materials I needed and the prices were easy to find. Also, the selection was huge. When I walked in, the woman behind the counter whose name is escaping me was on the phone helping a customer get an accurate quote on a package he/she wanted to ship. She was very patient and went above and beyond. When it was my turn at the counter, the woman answered all of my international shipping questions and really took her time to make sure I had everything I needed. My favorite thing about this shop (so far) is that they create an account for each customer that saves your return address as well as the addresses of those you ship to, so you don't have to fill out forms over and over again. This is great for me because I tend to ship things to the same people over and over again. All in all, I would highly recommend that you give Bushwick Post your business. I was so happy with my experience there and I will absolutely without a doubt be going back. read more

Bushwick Post just opened a few weeks ago and I have only availed myself of its services once, but so far, so good! What I really like is that it's basically a one-stop shop for USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL. Whatever your preferred shipping method, they have it. There's a ton of different-sized boxes and envelopes so you can find the most logical fit for your shipment, and there are pens, labels, and tape out to pack it up personally. The woman working when I went in helped me find the best sized box for what I was sending, and gave pleasant, straightforward, and efficient service. It's a small space and only had one person working when I went, but it's clean, well-organized, and I waited maybe two minutes tops. Definitely a step up from the post office and FedEx! I got a receipt, an email confirming my shipment, and my Valentine's package made it to Arizona on time and without any problems. They also offer PO boxes, and you can have packages sent there to be picked up. I haven't yet looked into that, but I've had something swiped from my doorstep before, so I might try it out next time I order something online. read more

Worst service. I used them to send a package from brooklyn to NYC UPS ground. I made the decision to use bushwick post because it is a black owned small business. Big Mistake! Don't waste your time and go directly to ups , fed ex or post office. They are not responsible for the package, they give you the run around and at the end of the day, they do not accept responsibility when your package is lost. Huge disappointment! read more

I use these guys all the time, especially now that the Post Office is under so much strain. Their customer service is great, and they go out of their way to help you. I came in with eight large boxes, and Miguel not only helped me bring the heavy af boxes in, but he actually looked up the cheapest price for every single box. I've seen people come in and scream at the staff, which is super sad. These folks work so hard, but Karens just come in and make the most outrageous demands. I have used Bushwick Post for years and been thankful for the convenience and reliability they provided. Plus, the staff had always been super nice (especially Miguel). But today I waited outside for 25 minutes to drop off a prepaid package. Another person was waiting for the same reason. Both packages were sealed and labeled. At 5pm (I was there at 4:35pm) an employee stuck her head out the door yelled that they were closed and to come back Monday. She wouldn't let anyone say a word, she interrupted to say that she didn't care, and then just slammed the door and locked it. She acted like we were totally out of line. We showed up within business hours and waited patiently in the cold to hand over a package (two minutes). For this, we got yelled at. The way this was handled was beyond rude and completely inappropriate. Worst I've ever been treated in a customer service setting. I still have a couple packages being shipped to the location for pickup, but I am unhappy at how this went down and hope to discontinue (or reduce as much as possible) any business with the store. Secondly, I was in an out in less than 10 minutes and Last but not least he even recommended resume paper they had in stock for the printing. I have been here before and will return in future.
