You'll find them at the end of the spiffy Noble Market and gas station complex on Day Hill Road. Frisbie has a walk-up ordering window with a large easy to read menu board, plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and of course cups, cones, sundaes and shakes. There were fifteen flavors available today, and we both ordered the same thing - a $6 single scoop of Bolton Banana Chip on a sugar cone. The ice cream was very good, a deep banana flavor, bits of pureed banana, and plenty of outstanding dark chocolate chips. And to make things even better was the generous spacing between the tables, so you never get the feeling that you're crammed in next to another party who might overhear your deepest darkest self-incriminating statements. We stopped in for late morning coffee and pastries, and learned their coffee is a special kind of coffee. Their coffee is "shade-grown" meaning the beans are allowed to ripen more slowly to enhance the flavor. We ordered an Americano (2 oz. Espresso, 6 oz. Water for $3.50), a drip coffee, a Cinnamon Bun ($4.50), and a Spinach Feta Danish. I had the Americano and the Danish and they were both very good. I never heard of "shade grown" coffee before, but I was impressed with the flavor profile. And that Spinach Feta Danish was fantastic. Congamond has a big food and drink menu with coffees, lattes, chais, smoothies, and hot chocolate, breakfast, lunch, and snack selections. The only less than stellar component of our experience was customer service. Yes, our orders were taken and announced promptly, but there was no hint of friendliness, courtesy, or customer engagement at all. Perfunctory kind of says it best.

I've never really tried Italian style but enjoyed IPAs, stouts, pilsners etc. I made it a point to stop in and try the beers. Now this was a few years ago. When I had first stopped in their opening week I tried the beers and thought they were ok at best. However, I know that first openings cannot be a final judgement for breweries as things are getting dialed in and most places are using new setups to make the beer. So I waited about a month and went back and was blown out of the water by the difference in what I initially tried versus what they were making now, the beer was phenomenal and I have been going back since, stopping in when I can. The brewery itself, while on the smaller size is very cozy, clean and nicely decorated. They offer various areas including high tops, standard tables and couch areas ( as well as outdoor seating during warmer months) Every-time I have stopped in they have had a food truck offering available as well as a Chinese restaurant right next door. They also have snacks inside so they have a few options for food. All in all, it's a great place, awesome vibe and some really good brews. Definitely worth a stop in. (Also, they offer beers for veterans. I always make it a point to buy a veteran a beer when I stop in, and yes you can prepay for one)

When a lady came out distributing more. One serving of each was plenty for me. Shortly after I went inside to pay. It kept me full for half the day, and at $10.50 was worth every penny. Village Market's coffees are sourced from "Those Guys Coffee Company" out of New Hartford.
