It consisted of two separate towers of sausage patty on the bottom, then potato pancake, with poached egg and hollandaise sauce on top...and several spices. It was amazing, like a tsunami hitting my taste buds. The potato concoction was perfect, as were the poached eggs. Two of my friends had Granby Oaks, and the 3rd had several ala carte items. All of us were members of the clean plate club. Chris was excellent and efficient, and kept us well-caffeinated. Overall, great food and service, and reasonable prices. Our waitress was warm and welcoming and though I knew what I was going to order before I even left the house, the specials she rattled off all sounded great. I am obsessed with biscuits and sausage gravy and knew it was on the menu. It's not only on the menu but the staff's shirts all mention the biscuit. DAMN that is a good biscuit. It's a HUGE cheddar and chive biscuit (big enough for a sandwich). Paired with the sausage gravy and my perfect over-medium eggs it was a wonderful meal. My wife had the French Dip benny which she liked but would not order again. She felt the roast beef was a little tough. Hers came with a "loaded potato cake" which was insanely delicious. It's about the size of a crab cake, made with shredded potatoes and was so, so good. Of note-reasonable prices, many vegan, vegetarian and GF options (including vegan meats and cheese).
