I contacted Busker's this week to get a vehicle fixed. Did my homework and found out they are one of the body shops in San Angelo that is on the USAA direct repair shops list. Which I figured would mean that they are military friendly. Unfortunately this was not the case. Busker's was very rigid and unwilling to work with us to get an estimate. There is another shop in San Angelo that is on the USAA direct list which is more of a big name "chain type" store. And there are at several of those shops in various San Angelo locations. To my surprise the chain store was 100 percent more accommodating and it has excellent reviews regarding quality of the repair work. Sounds like Busker's does good work but if you need flexibility or enjoy the customer service factor you may want to look elsewhere. read more

And their texting communications were very on point and gave us comfort that our car was in good hands and important to them. After being involved in a relatively minor accident, we drove our almost brand-new GMC truck to Busker's Body Shop in San Angelo, Texas. After 3 weeks of "misunderstandings", inconsistencies, and one delay after another, Busker's returned the GMC back to us with a check engine light on (it did not have a light on when we drove it to them), a lopsided bumper, misaligned, dirty, and with broken/missing parts. Corey said to bring it back the following week. Meanwhile, the truck was turning off while being driven. We knew the GMC was never going to be the same, and instead of enduring more hassles and headaches via Busker's incompetency, we traded the truck in for another. What a nightmare. To keep things short and sweet I had a major accident with a 2019 Sierra and 23,000 in damages I took my truck to buskers hearing they were the best in town but the service I received and the work I got in return was far from it. Many things were not fixed and parts they claimed to had fixed were not, after a gruesome six month process of calling and bringing my truck back in I finally just said to hell with it and sold my vehicle because they royally screwed it up and was going to cost me more in the long run to keep and fix it. I would never recommend this chop shop to anyone and I wanted to personally thank Richard for making that the worst experience I could possibly imagine, poor business practices! read more

I came here a couple years back for work on my fiancé's truck, and just recently had more work done last week. Can't say enough great things about this place. I called the day before to see if they'd be able to accommodate me. They were so kind and fit me in the following morning. I was in and out in less than 1 hour and the workmanship is spectacular. Check you clips!!!! My daughter who was an active duty airman got her car front bumper "fixed" here thru USAA. They fixed it alright but didn't replace the plastic clips. Really 5c plastic clips you didn't have any? And you're a body shop? Now her car have torn fenders and front grill don't sit and lock right. read more

my pickup was backed into, T boned on the drivers side right below the fuel filler door, damage included the rear of the cab, bed side, wheel arch etc. just a mess. I went in to Buskers and Richard took care of me. The completed work is literally indistinguishable from factory. The metallic paint match is perfect, can't tell where it starts/stops. When supply chain problems delayed a part, Richard offered the option to take the truck, reducing my outlay for a rental car, while we wait for the part to arrive. I opted to take the truck. Dropped off my daughters car on Monday morning for repairs after a deer strike. Thursday afternoon they called to say it was complete. I was so worried we'd be able to see a difference in paint color or something would still be off but Busker's did a phenomenal job! On June 14, 2017, I was in Odessa, TX when a major hail storm producing golf to softball size hail came through. The insurance company I was with at the time was Progressive Insurance. Since I live in San Angelo, TX, I went on line and started my claim and came home the next morning. Progressive then told me they could not send an adjuster to estimate the damage until July 3, 2017. So I waited but I also switched insurance companies since I found that to be unacceptable. Once the adjuster finished his work, I decided to use one of their network shops. This is how my ordeal with Busker's Body Shop began. I took the car in to them and was told the estimate was too low but they would get the necessary supplemental to make it right in order to take the repair job. The car was dropped off the next Monday and was ready the following Monday after that with one exception: The convertible top had to be replaced and the shop they normally used was in transition from one location to another. This meant that I would have to wait "about an additional week" according to the representative in charge of this project. He estimated August 2, 2017 as the start date. I waited patiently and have been waiting ever since then as their promises fell apart one after the other. Today is August 24, 2017! My car is still in the upholstery shop and my travel plans for the summer were completely ruined because the job was not properly assessed nor adequately executed by Busker's. Communication has been minimal and three out of four times it has been initiated by me. A million "sorrys" cannot replace the loss and it is almost September as I contemplate the fact that using Busker's was one of the worse mistakes I have ever made when choosing a body shop. The lack of customer service from Progressive was bad enough, but suffering the same from one of their network providers is something beyond ironic. My vehicle was finished on September 3, 2017. I sent the following letter on 8/28 and have received no response from the owner to date. "Mr. Barron responded by phone to the review on Friday, August 25, 2017 while I was having dinner in a restaurant with my daughter in Fort Worth. Mr. Barron demanded to know why I felt it was your establishment's fault that my repairs were delayed in this manner. I proceeded to explain to him that I felt it was poor assessment, planning, and execution. The fact that the upholstery shop was not available should not have fallen on me. If you take on a job, I understand it is the insurance company that bears the cost of having to do whatever is required to see that the work gets done within a reasonable time-frame. A month and a half is not, in my opinion, a reasonable time-frame because we do not live so far away from other cities that have shops so as to prevent a solution from being found. At this point, Mr. Barron began raising his voice and became argumentative and belligerent. He kept cutting me off and I finally told him to lower his voice and show some respect because I was his customer. His answer was simply, "I don't care!" At this point, I terminated the call. My daughter, sitting next to me, heard the entire conversation and was astounded by the lack of professionalism and customer service offered by Mr. Barron. He is in dire need of some training in customer service skills. I am not interested in getting him fired as that would do nothing to upgrade his skills, and I'm sure he needs his job just like we all do. I also am not looking for an apology from him and I ask that he not call me in the future. However, in order to ensure that this type of incompetence in completing a job and in providing proper customer service is not simply "swept under the carpet"; I will proceed with the aforementioned postings of this entire matter on all applicable informational sites as soon as the work on my vehicle is finally and satisfactorily completed." read more

Buskers was wonderful from start to finish! Had an estimate within 15 minutes when I stopped in without an appointment. Dropped my Jeep off on a Monday to get a dent and scrape in a door fixed, and it was ready by Thursday. I got daily text updates and Poe was great at answering all of my questions.
