Got ahold of the sales guy on Sunday after being on the median until midnight trying to fix the truck and he said he was trying to call people but could not get ahold of anyone. After a day and a half on the median we got the truck towed back to buster miles and showed up Monday after watching the sales manager tweet about how great church was on Sunday. Only thing that would have made it even better was it the service was about the Good Samaritan. When we got back to the dealership the sales lady acted as if we were an annoyance. I haven't even had the car for 25 days and it's now parked and I can't drive it. I was in desperate need of a car because my other one was messed up and I need to get my family around and get to work. I explained my situation and they still sold me this crap. If your going to sell as is, the least you can do is let someone know the issues, or don't put people in cars that have engine problems! You can stick to your policy and not do anything all you want, but wrong is wrong. Have some moral, have some decent character for goodness sake. Everything isn't about making a dollar. It met the criteria of what I was looking for (age, mileage, price). The salesman called Springville to see if the car was still available and was told it "maybe just went under contract". It was later determined that the car was indeed available and could be brought to the Anniston location later that day. We came to terms price-wise and I went home, expecting a call later in the day when the car arrived so I could do a test-drive. When I'd heard nothing by 5pm I texted the salesman and was told "It won't be today but we can get our hands on it". I knew the car was in Springville because their salesman had facetimed my salesman and showed him/us the car. I never heard from my salesman again. I suspect they leveraged my offer with that vague "maybe contract" to get more $$ for the car. You'd think Anniston would offer me a deal on something else to make up for this but nothing. Obviously the bottom dollar is more important to CA Ford than keeping customers happy.

When the tow truck driver showed up and had his instructions from my insurance provider on where to tow the car, he said "no you don't want to go there, you want to go to Cheatwood's." So you hope he's not getting a kickback and that the garage is honest. These guys are! They told me straight up that it might take them a few days because the owner's mother was in the hospital and he was in and out. They were good at keeping in touch with me and giving me updates and when I got the car back and took it to my mechanic, he said they did exactly what he would've done and for less money! These are just really good folks! Wish I could give them 10 stars!
