Parking was free and plentiful, and we were seated without a long wait, though we highly recommend making reservations, especially on busy nights. The vibe is low-lit, romantic, and intimate which was perfect for a special occasion. Our waitress was fabulous and very attentive throughout the evening. To start, their "poppers" were absolutely delicious and a fun twist on traditional bread service, especially paired with the incredible blueberry butter. To celebrate, I ordered their Painkiller cocktail, which was smooth, delicious, and hit the spot. I also had the French onion soup, which arrived piping hot with perfectly melted cheese. For our entrées, we ordered the filet, the NY strip, and the rack of lamb, and every dish was excellent. We shared the corn and mashed potatoes, both of which were outstanding. I also loved the artistic touch on the menu check presentation. Overall, we're so happy we chose Prime & Pearl to celebrate our new marriage and will absolutely be returning in the future.

It was more than enough, and everything was delicious, including the Manhattan. Alexus and her assistant server Charles, provided outstanding service. My only regret is that I live 2 hours away from Gainesville and don't get up here very often.

Definitely glad we did, because I'd highly recommend getting a reservation here. We went on a Saturday around noon and found out they do a buffet brunch until 3pm. I wasn't expecting that at all, but it ended up being awesome. The shrimp and grits were amazing. I don't know what they put in those grits, but they were seriously scrumptious. The chicken wings and sliders were also really good. The place itself is really nice and well put together. Our server was good too and even gave us some recommendations for breweries in the area, which was appreciated. Overall, great food, great service, and a really nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

For example seared in olive oil is mentioned but they leave out it's been marinated in herbs and vegetable oil prior. However an undressed salad and grill item like a prime rib were supposedly not pre marinated. So for the folks trying to eliminate inflammatory seeds oils from their diets or those with soybean or peanut allergies you need to stay away. Since blended cooking oils or vegetable oil can def contain both. Atmosphere is casual and interesting with all the football history about. I'm adding menu pictures but we just had drinks with friends and when the food arrived for those not caring about vegetable oil etc we left.

I had a lavender oat milk latte and this might be one of the best coffees in Gainesville. Their pastries are also not to be missed the guava pastry is a favorite of ours. Pros: flaky delicate pastry crust. Excellence balance of cheese to jam. Filling. Would order again! Cons: sticky fingers Cinnamon rolls The frosting is very thick and delightful. It was originally brought out cold and then they warmed it up upon request. The layers were sweet but not overly so. I got the French omelet and the egg was perfectly fluffy. My friends got the whipped feta toast, the veggie breakfast burrito and the breakfast bowl.

I entered the restaurant at 9:15 am with my guest and were seated promptly. Our server proceeded with our drink order in which we requested a vanilla and brown sugar iced latte and lemonade. My vanilla and brown sugar latte was made well and was quite refreshing. The lemonade was a bit sweet but overall a good beverage. However, as our experience continued it became a bit of a let down. We ordered the Dutch baby with seasonal fruit, the big break, a cinnamon roll, and the afternoon hash. From time of placing the order to receiving our food was an overall total of 45 minutes. A bit of a long wait for breakfast/brunch style items. The cinnamon roll was not done well whatsoever, the roll itself was over kneaded which created a thick and heavy dough. Not the fluffy type of cinnamon roll you would expect. When our food did come out the Dutch baby was partly burnt, it did not taste as such but it was a bit flat in regard to taste. The potatoes in the hash and the big break were burnt. I wouldn't consider it crispy because they were so overcooked I could barely get my fork to go through. The taste of the hollandaise did redeem the dish a tad, however for $90 including tip it was not the dining experience I would come back to.

The regular bowl is relatively inexpensive at $10.95 but so filling as to allow for leftovers. The teriyaki chicken, rice, broccoli, feta and toasted almonds, and mushrooms were a treat with the creamy garlic sauce. I also sampled the turmeric ginger sauce with steak, sweet potato noodles and forbidden rice. All fantastic! You cannot make a mistake ordering. The servers at the counter explained everything, and were patient and kind. I love the healthy fast food feel of this restaurant. It was clean and organized.

The used to serve pork tenderloin which was like nothing at any other restaurant. They replace with a pulled pork, then no pork at all. When that was taken off the menu we sort of gravitated towards other options. Coming back, there were even more changes to the menu. The usual favorites are still here, mine being the warm sweet potato noodles. My wife got the pesto noodles but they were served cold (a bit of a shock). My regular bowl was overflowing with noodles and roasted broccoli. Both good I got teriyaki chicken as my protein, it was just ok, the base and veggies made the dish. The toppings and sauce completed the bowl. It was good. My wife got the roasted chicken thigh (bone in). That was delicious. Surprisingly good. Service was outstanding, they have a great crew here. That's a plus over most fast food chains. So a few years (yes years) removed from eating here last, I'd say they're still pretty good. Good healthy option, decent price. Also, the restaurant is nice and clean and tidy!
