4/19/25 Getting breakfast for tomorrow! Arrived. Nobody was in there, but the worker was nice. Picked 2 donuts that looked good and the Everything breakfast sandwich. Large place. Large variety of donuts too! Happy Sunday everyone! Everything breakfast sandwich split. My half was DELICIOUS!. Fresh croissant and good amount of tasty meat with egg! Donut was Really Delicious & stuffed with chocolate making it even more chocolatey! Yummy! I'm sure mother will feel the same when she gets up to have hers! Good service & GREAT breakfast! Typical neighborhood donut shop. My donut was so yummy! Service was decent. Location was central with street parking. Inside was small.

Well it is what it is... large space, very old, run down place. Nothing left to but by early afternoon. Just a few old looking donuts..expected at times but hey, this was our experience. We love bakeries in general. The gentleman there I saw, I am sure works his butt off and hopefully sells out daily but there was nothing for us here. Nothing for us in Coalinga either. We buzzed out of this town quickly after stopping for gas. read more

Very well owned business from a man who lived in Orange County and came down here to start a new life for himself. He's seems very happy here with the vibe me and my partner got from him. Very polite. We came here early in the morning and very happy with the prices for a dozen donuts! Ended up buying two boxes worth. A little off the layout inside but everything you need is in plain sight so it was no problem for us. Very thankful we found this once arriving into town early in the morning. Oh yum... I have been missing Dunkin' Donuts and couldn't just bite the bullet and get supermaket donettes. Well, now I don't have to. At Busy Bee, the doughnuts are really yummy. Even though my doughnuts didn't come right of the oven, they were pretty darn light and tasty. And there are so many varieties, most of the glazed sort. Even munchkins live in Coalinga. I don't need you anymore, Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme. Service was just as sweet. 3 doughnuts, 1 small coffee= $3.25. read more

Place is good. I overheard one of the servers say it was a Vietnamese/thai/Cambodian restaurant. My first visit consisted of two plates. #1 ( special beef pho) and # 12 (phad si-eew). The #1 was what typical beef pho usually is. Everything came together like it should. The broth was pretty good, not amazing, but good. I did notice a bit of a cinnamon flavor to the broth. Im not used to tasting that flavor in pho. The #12 was pretty good as well. Its a stir-fry type of dish. Had real good flavors in it. It has a light amount of peanut sauce in it, So be aware. Not everyone likes peanut sauce OVERALL.. place is good. Ill be going back for sure. read more

Best donuts around. They are simple but taste amazing. I have yet to find a donut as good as these. If they ain't in the pink box I dont want them! I have noticed the business is not open as it used to be so I can only hope they dont close down! Coalinga would not be the same. read more

Just grabbed a sandwich /sub so good ! Nothing crazy just have your basics to choose from but there bread they make it on is A+ so filling and can't beat the price I could have bought two sandwiches for the price of a basic subway sandwich . I won't buy sub anywhere else when I visit this town. read more

Owners are very kind. Went to Coalinga to take my written driver's test and wanted some donuts to celebrate. My mom doesn't speak much English and the owner did great communicating in Spanish. He's funny and nice. The donuts were so good, and are criminally cheap. I hope to go again once I take my driving test. read more

Busy Bee is also connected to Navy Net Cafe; a little spot of Cambodian Food. It's a favorite place to imbibe in pho and other Cambodian treats. The food is served in huge amounts. As a mostly family run business, I enjoy meeting the children and others. Navy (the owner's real name!) is a charming Cambodian lady with a strong accent - well worth the visit alone to bask in her presence. The breakfast burritos in the bakery half of the shop are scrumptious. Very hospitable staff. Fresh food, and very tasty! read more

I suggest you come here in the morning when their donuts just comes out of the oven... then it's to die for! But once those doughnuts cool... it tastes like all the other donuts from any other donuts shop. I'm giving 4 stars based on service and cleanliness. The pho however was about a 6.5/10. The broth was very good but the steak was cut too thick and some of the fixings were not available. I would eat here again but I would request the rare steak on the side, and just meatball and tripe in the bowl. Maybe bring my own basil lol. read more

A small space but what a treat. All the pastries made on site; a great spot to stop for breakfast. We especially liked the cinnamon rolls for their size (easy to split!) and the fact they were not over-the-top in icing. And the bearclaws were so good too. Love the staff. I've only experienced the bakery experience and the "dirty grease" taste is intolerable.

Pho #2 was great. Taste authentic and fresh. About time coalinga had something healthy. Broth was on point, but the thinly sliced beef should be more thin to avoid the cardboard texture. Thai tea was not overly sweet. Ought to be a big hit if the grand opening wasnt at the start off summer. Still, this place is here to stay. Service is great with the owner\host present she makes sure you're taken care of. Clean dining area food service was 5 minute wait. The portion is overwhelming. Hope there is a smaller option in the future. I'd take people here for sure. read more

Best authentic Asian food in town. Staff is friendly and helpful. They were patient and understanding when I asked them about the ingredients they used in their dishes (checking for allergens) and when I had special requests (eg asking for chicken broth to make my own peanut sauce). Love this place!!! And thoroughly adore Navy! She is a genuine business owner who sincerely wants to put her best foot forward. Never had a bad meal here, yes service can take a minute but it's usually just her and her young son (which is adorable) so it's worth it. Pho is delicious and huge I could split it and still have left overs, the burgers, salads, and sandwiches are pretty good too. Also if your a Thai tea fan treat yourself to one here it's delicious, only recommendation if you're trying for the first time avoid it during the lunch hour during school days. So good! If you are traveling on I-5 and want something that isn't fast food go here. Good phó but as others have noted the steak is a little thick and it needs more basil. But the staff is so friendly and service is quick. Worth the 13 mile side-trip from the interstate. read more
