I enjoyed this place. I was surprised that all the smoothies are dairy free. I ordered a cookies and cream shake. I also ordered the protein waffles. I did not order whip cream on either because I'm lactose intolerant but I'm sure that would have made them even more delicious. This place is a wonderful healthy addition to Atascadero. So many flavorful protein shakes (and snacks) to choose from that are well-priced for the quality, taste, and portion you receive. Planet Fitness members receive a discount which is great as well. Do not be turned off by worrying that the protein shakes will taste weird or "too healthy." They literally taste like milkshakes but have protein so you stay full for a long time. The shakes have even been kid approved! Efrain is THE MAN!!! Honestly this is the best this establishment has ever been. Two owners ago, she was pretty inconsistent with the drinks and the menu was on a chalk board with a few flavors - year 2020. That's when we first ever joined Herbalife. There was a chalkboard and very few flavors with one woman running it. Then we quit for a bit (it's expensive...) now we are back and joined with full force!! What turned me onto it is the flavors have gone from seven or eight to about 38!!! And he's got the menu on 3 huge TV's in there on his back board because there's just SO many options!!! Like, what do I want today? A waffle? A doughnut? A protein milkshake? I have even started using their tea as preworkout and shakes as post or meal replacement. Tastes like a sinful milkshake and just as well with the teas. They're sinfully delicious but full of vitamins, not sugar. The doughnut shot actually tastes like a doughnut but instead, it's a fat burner! Who would have thought!? We love their products and so do our kids!! On days I'm on the go, I'll stop here and get in my essentials, so will my husband and what's cool is we can treat our kids and feel good about that!! Unlike most protein powders, Herbalife gives an essential amount of nourishment and vitamins through a creamy, smooth shake vs all that "choke it down" activity with chalky substance like flavors from brands outside of Herbalife. A big deal for me is banana. I'm a huge banana fan and I would say 80% or beyond protein powders in existence taste like candy chalk when it comes to banana. It's really turned me off from banana flavored protein powders. With Herbalife , it taste just like a banana milkshake!! But instead you enjoy protein and almond milk. In the past I used to make protein balls where you throw in a few ingredients including your protein and roll it into a bowl and put it in the fridge. Herbalife actually works great for these! If you're feeling a sweet tooth coming on, and you don't want to spend an arm and a leg on some special Dessert thats healthier for you from a natural food store, you can Pinterest how to do it with Herbalife. But at nutrition 101 (according to Efrain the name is changing soon!) you can stop by there for all your nutrition and sweet tooth needs! He makes protein waffles, Acai bowls, pre-and post teas, pre-and post workout Shakes, protein donuts, fat loss shots that taste AMAZING. Also iced protein coffee! I'm really hung up on the teas and have decided to replace my coffee and pre-workout teas with this. It makes my skin so shiny and I feel better physically. Sure, Coffee tends to give me a little kicker in the morning maybe for up to an hour, maybe two at the most. After that, then comes the crash. Plus, I just feel yucky when the crash comes and it dries out my skin. With the Tea, I can go about six or seven hours!! I really go the distance with focus and natural energy. At 35 years old, I don't know any other product that works like this. There are all sorts of chain products that might remind you of Herbalife . Thrive, shakeology, beach body... I would just skip all of that hype. Herbalife is a healthy, true way to go. I refuse to become a distributor for the products because I'm not interested in pushing sales on anyone. Try it for yourself. If you want to feel better, if you want to be healthier, if you want to drop a few pounds... You'd be wise to try this little shop in the community. You can't lose by trying it. Well, Maybe a few pounds if you'd lose anything at all. :) It's affordable when you order it from nutrition 101. Let's put it this way, fast food is starting to get really unhealthy and a whole lot more expensive. You're gonna pay just as much for a shake. And when you eat better, you feel better. This is my new favorite smoothie place! Jamba juice is fine too, but I felt like I wanted to support local and also lately the only thing that sounds good to me when I haven't eaten, and I need to figure out something to eat for the day is a chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie and the one at Jamba Juice is kind of 'meh' imo. She did offer to make me another however, I have an appointment that I had to leave for and didn't have time to wait so I left without a refund even being offered to me and I left empty-handed with no drink.
