People who complain about this are just miserable. Came here for over 2 years and always been helped. It's a public laundromat can't expect luxury. You will have to pay to use the restroom or walk to target. Washers can vary starting at 3$ for a single load to 5$ for medium and $10 blankets or bulky items, for a quarter you get 8 minutes of dry. They give change if big bills but not always, machine gives up to 20 dollar bill change in quarter read more

I usually drop off my laundry and they always have everything done on time when I come back to pick it up. The only reason I'm taking off half a star is because they don't always call when they say they will. I've been there one time and there's an attendant present, which is convenient for clarification on things. I was looking for a credit card swipe, but they only take quarters. Two additional quarters for hot water. Three dollars of quarters will wash for 25 minutes. There's a money change machine. Not clear whether a $20 bill will get you all quarters or will get you $5 bills or $1 bills. For the dryer, a quarter will get you three minutes of drying time. read more

I usually come here to wash right after work and I usually dry around 8pm. I only brought ONE load of laundry to wash and when I was going to dry, the lady told me I could only dry on the right side dryers despite the left side with about 20 dryers being completely empty. It was really crammed on the right side since she had made everyone only dry on that right side. I've never had a worker tell me this before and I've been here many times, but overall very disappointing. She said she had to close by 10 which is 2 hours past the time she said we could only dry on the right side. Honestly the reviews about the cost are really based on perspective. At the moment my complex is $3 to wash and $4 to dry. So, for me this saves me money when I can do a $2 wash and spend a $1 on the dryer for 35-45 min. The woman there is always nice and they do break change if needed for the change machine. There are definitely some characters that come to this laundry mat but you will get that anywhere these days. I recently tried doing laundry at my complex and actually lost $6 trying to do two loads and my complex turned the water off in the laundry room with no notice on that and I lost $6, was told I'd get it back and didn't and that's just the ugly truth about the economy right now. Seems like everyone has to make their money anyway they can and most of the time it's screwing someone over. I went to Busy Bees for the first time today. Their 2.75 washers use to cost me 3.75 at a different laundry mat. These washers only takes 20minutes and this place is so very clean and the ladies that work at Busy Bees are always cleaning all the equipment and floors. The workers are so very kind and helpful. The dryers here only cost me .75 and holds 3 loads at a time. I can only think of 1 thing that might need to be reviewed and that is they need more rolling basket carts to transfer your wash to the dryers and then to transfer from the dryers to the the folding tables, which are completely spotless. I asked another customer to use her basket to transfer to the dryers and she was so very nice and helped me because I use a walker to walk. read more

F I came because my wash machine was being repaired and I wouldn't do a king size bedspread in it anyway, but I arrived and they have prices on the machines starting off at 275 then when you load your clothes and make your selection the price goes up I videotaped everything it went from 275 to 350 to 375 and I explained to the lady maintaining this laundromat that that was against the law that it was fraud. Then when I complained there was no hot water and one of the machines after I push that I was told sorry, I should've stuck to the one that is closer to my house but I was having work done on my car never never, but I recommend this place it is such a rip off read more

I dont live in brea so I don't come here often but last night my dryer wasn't working at my apartment so I washed my clothes and put them in a bag so that I could dry them on my lunch during work which my work is in Brea I looked up the closest laundromat to my office and this was the one, so I get there, I put my clothes to dry and I see that for $.25. I'm literally only getting five minutes of dry time. FIVE MINUTES???? This is absolutely insane. Most laundry places are doing anywhere from 10 to 12 minutes per quarter .... to dry for five minutes is just absolutely greedy. It cost me $1.50 to fully dry my clothes this is the greediest laundromat and I could bypass the cost if it was a very nice and safe laundromat but not even that! When I got to the door I was greeted by a crackhead that asked me if I was interested in buying "tide pods" off of him I understand they can't control the ppl hanging out there but at least at my usual laundromat the owner or attendant will come out and let them know that unless they are doing business there they can't be just standing around bugging the customers. But honestly what got me is the 25 cents for only 5 minutes of dry time. That's honestly a first for me. I understand inflation is really but holy fuck only 5 minutes!? The fact this place is still in business is crazy I definitely won't be coming back. Y'all can keep ur little 5 minutes for a quarter to dry to yourselves. read more

This is my first time here. I noticed that the dryers on the left side are older and not the best. You have better luck with the dryers on the right side cause those actually will dry your clothes. Not all machines are up to par so be careful on which ones you use. Not the cleanest place either. Not all costumers are wearing a mask. The older Hispanic attendant isn't the nicest either. She's kind of rude and not very helpful. Very stingy with the quarters when their machines are all coin operated. She also gives you a very uninterested attitude when you ask her for help. As though you should feel terrible for asking her- the attendant- for help when it's your first time in her laundry mat. Honestly hard to recommend this place or even go back to. read more

It had been a few years since I came here but all my experiences in the past were pleasant, however, when we were in on Friday night I was disappointed. The laundromat itself was clean and had a good amount of washers of all capacities and dryers. They sell laundry essentials in case you forget anything but you can also just walk to target. We used two of the larger washers and three of the regular load size washers. Everything we washed still felt dirty, I wanted to rewash everything somewhere else. Towels especially didn't even look clean, I was very upset and to make matters worse the driers didn't really dry, I had to constantly reload money into them. I didn't want to keep giving them my money so I took some items home that were damp and hung them to dry. Needless to say we will not be visiting busy bee in the future. read more

The washing machine broke in my building, so I went to Yelp to see what laundry facilities around still took quarters as opposed to the newer card systems. Busy Bee fit the bill! There is a change machine inside that takes $1, $5, and $10 bills so you can skip the bank line to grab quarters (I loved this). There are a ton of machines in all different sizes, which was impressive. They are all different prices depending on the size and what settings you choose. I knocked a star off because I felt the wash cycles were a bit expensive. The dry cycles are more fair, in my opinion. There were a lot of laundry carts to help roll your items around as well as a folding area. Music was playing, which was nice to pass the time. There is also free wifi and vending machines for snacks, drinks, and laundry detergent/other laundry items. The attendant was very nice and she cleaned non-stop the entire two hours I was there. It wasn't too busy on a Tuesday afternoon/evening. The facility was clean and the customers were very courteous. I'll be back if I ever need a laundromat again! read more

Mostly standard coin-op laundromat with extra drop-off service. Machines were spacious and worked well at regular prices. Some patrons made a mess and one patron did have a dog inside the laundromat which probably shouldn't be allowed where people are trying to clean their clothes, etc. Apartment's laundry rooms were out of commission for three weeks, so we chose Busy Bee just to use up the coins we already had--we didn't want to have to get the proprietary prepaid card used at the other laundromat in the area just for a short time. read more

Their sign states that they open at 7:00am and close at 10:00pm. I washed my laundry and put it to dry at about 8pm and went to the store. As I rushed back to pick up my laundry I arrive at Busy Bee Laundry at 9:47pm to find that the laundromat was locked up, lights shut off and not an employee in sight. I was very disappointed especially because some of the clothes were my boyfriend's work clothes. I woke up early the next morning hoping to grab the clothes before my boyfriend heads to work. I arrive at 6:50am because I want to be the first there when they open. I wait, and wait, and wait... they open up at 7:11am!!! So you're telling me that you are running a BUSINESS that people rely on and not only do you close early, but you open late. Not professional at all! I have been here a few times mostly because of the convenience of being right next to Target. The first time I came there was a large amount of dryers broken. The second visit, the washer I was using was leaking while my wash was going I informed the attendant and they asked me what happened? Clearly my fault...Third and I must say final time I put a dollar in the change machine and when I let the attendant know it ate my dollar she came out to test the machine and it worked fine. Yay it wasn't broken but she basically told me I was lying. "Are you sure?" YES I am sure... Really? I hope you enjoy that dollar because after this visit you won't be getting anymore from me. I love this laundry mat. They have different sizes of washers which are amazing & quick. They're driers are amazing, they have four huge ones which is great for big loads but I've learn that it cheaper & faster if you just separate the bug loads into two smaller driers because it takes longer with more clothes in the drier. Came here to wash clothes, and it was a decent price and the machines worked well, when I called to speak to someone about pricing and everything they were really friendly and very informative and asked me lots of questions so I could understand everything and the lady who spoke to me told me about the drop off and pick up service where they will wash your clothes for you and then you can pick it up later or another day. That's a really good thing they do, because something I am really busy work and life and don't have time to wash clothes and everything. So it's really good that they have this fluff and fold service. I will definitely be using that service in a few weeks. I was told that some Thursdays they give free washes but I'm not sure if it's all Thursdays or just some but you should call and find out if I hear anything i will update my review. My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday to wash our big bedsheets and blankets. We loaded our laundry into the industrial-sized washing machine and as soon as we touched the laundry door to close it, it COMPLETELY FELL OFF. Before we could call the laundromat worker to inform them about what happened, the worker was already there asking us what happened. I told her that we really didn't do anything and when we tried to close the door, the door just fell off. Then she just gives my boyfriend and I a look and takes the broken door. She watched as my boyfriend and I loaded the only other big washer, and she has the audacity to come up to us and say, "I think you opened the door too wide." REALLY?!? Do you think we could destroy an industrial-sized washing machine door by opening it too wide?!? She was really trying to blame us for the shitty machines they have at this laundromat. We washed our blankets here because we already put them in the machine, but decided to dry them somewhere else. I do NOT recommend this place and will NEVER come back here to wash anything! read more

This is my first time here and so far it seems like a great place. The washers hold quite a bit of clothes, the place is very clean and it's in a quiet shopping center. My only complaint is the price of the washers. It's 1.75 for a load that's on a low soil level and they charge .50 more for heavily soiled clothing, which is more than I have ever paid. i love busy bee. its near my home. the owner always keeps the laundry mat very clean. the prices are exceptional and ive never had an issue here with anyone stealing my clothes which happens to me pretty often. its a safe location and the cleaning lady is always helpful. i wish i knew her name. ill update this review when i find out. i believe they also serve the community by giving free wash days on a thursday. ill get more details on what thursdays as well but regardless this is the place to go for affordable wash days. read more

I left a load behind and I called that same day. The lady reassured me that it was there. I told her i was on my way to work and that if she can set it to the side. The next day i called in the evening Maria or olivia something like that answered and was rude from the start. She obviously didn't want to help me. All i wanted to tell her was that i was at work and wouldn't get out til 10pm. She put the phone to the side as if i were on hold and 7minutes later hung up. I tried calling again and again and again and nothing. I called i was reassured so i went today and the female in the morning tells me "yes I remember I took that load out and set it to the side" I come here EVERY week. You KNOW me. She has the audacity to tell me my clothes is in Mexico. I know my fault was leaving the clothes but something needs to be done about the customer service. We live near but my mother, brother and I rather go somewhere else. I didn't like the response from these ladies but I was hesitant about confronting them because it's the owners job. I've been going to busy bee for 3 yrs now. I won't choose another. Super clean. There's always 2 employees working. Restrooms are clean. They Sell detergent & softners, bleach laundry bags. If your money gets stuck they return it to you. You also have a choice to drop off laundry. The ladies are so pleasant. read more

This place is super clean. I had tons of laundry to do and it was a busy day for lots of is that were there but no one was waiting to use machines. I was super impressed that the attendant was keeping it clean wheelie we were all there. Did not make me love laundry mats or anything and I can't wait for my laundry room remodel to be complete...
