The past 3 visits, I've seen cockroaches in this laundromat. I can't take the risk of bringing one home with me. Time to wash elsewhere.

I used Sudz for a very large fluff & gold pick up & delivery service. I am so impressed with them.literally a life saver and such a relief to not have to worry about the laundry I had built up. They texted me to arrange pick up and drop off and kept me updated when on the way. Their pricing on fluff & food is the best value I could find anywhere in the area. On top of that, they folded all the clothes and even hung blouses and sweaters on wire hangers. BEAUTIFUL. They weigh the items after pick up and send you the invoice for you to pay before they drop it back off. It was easy and convenient. Over a certain amount they do not even charge for delivery. The man who picked up my laundry was also very kind, friendly, and trustworthy. I will certainly use their service again and recommend them to anyone. read more

I had the pleasure of dropping someone off at CSUF, and decided, rather than driving back and forth I'll take some laundry with me and use the time efficiently, so, I found Suds which was near the university. However, my whites were still smelling of bleach after wash, and the fabric softener compartment didn't work. Drying a few items took too long, the dryers didn't become hot enough to dry a few t- shirts, basket ball shorts, and socks...Very annoying even after 40 mins of dry time and an absolute waste of time. Dryers are not efficient ( used 3 different dryers until I gave up, maybe you'll have better luck.) .25 cents for 9 mins Small washers are 1.75, Medium: 3.25 and Large: $4, Extra Large: $8 There's also two huge blanket/comforter dryers for $8 ( worth it if it actually washes clean, however, will take about the same amount of money or more to dry, best to utilize their drop of service because you'll be spending a lot of time waiting for that blanket or comfort to dry fully. The place is VERY clean and that is definitely a plus, and almost empty during the time I was there. Additionally, there were ample washers and dryers, which has motivated me to try this place again. Love this laundry mat for the simple fact that there is an attendant at all times and so because of that there are no scary creepy looking bums, like at other laundry mats. Another plus because of the attendant, the place is generally clean and the machines well maintained. I needed laundry due to broken laundry at home. Came here because I always see it when I go to nine #2 Liquor next door. Even though there was a man cleaning which was nice to see. When you walk in you are hit in the face with a wall of rotten egg smell. The wash machine was 2.00 which is expensive, .25 dryer for 9 minutes. The washer at my place is 1.50, dryer 1.25 for 40 mins. That smell alone is a no go. It smells like bad plumbing. read more

We just moved to the area and ordered our new washer/dryer so we've resorted to fluff and fold in the mean time! I'm not complaining because their service is amazing. I can wash clothes all day, but when it comes to folding it's a whole 'nother story. At this point the pandemic has caused a delay in our washer/dryer delivery but it's all good because Sudz Coin Laundry is here. I've always had great interactions with the people that work there and every time I come in, the place is busy. It's located in a busy plaza so parking can sometimes be hectic especially since this location is right next to Fullerton College and CSUF. The place is a decent size and somewhat clean but it's always busy so that makes sense. They offer laundry detergent and other laundry needs if you ever forget. I tried calling once to inquire about their hours, but there was a language barrier - she only spoke Spanish. I went anyway and I'm glad I did :) Last time I went there it looked like a new family was managing the place but service is the same, excellent! They are super nice and do a great job, never had any issues or complaints except for the last time they either forgot or lost my laundry basket that I left with them. All good, no biggie. If you are local, they offer fluff and fold delivery service with a minimum. There is an extra charge for bed sheets and comforters as well, which makes sense. They weigh your laundry with a scale when you drop off and give you a receipt with your balance that you can choose to pay now or later. Their folding skills are impeccable and the clothes smell so fresh and clean! I remember the first time I came to pick-up, they had everything ready in a plastic bag and also hung dress shirts and such on wire hangers just like the dry cleaners! They didn't have to, but they did and this is an example of their customer service. A+++ I personally haven't done my laundry here, so this is strictly based on my experience with fluff and fold service and the location itself. read more

I've driven-by this Laundromat literally for years and never gave it a passing glance until recently while my wife was away and I needed to do laundry. Sure we have a Washer and Dryer at home but I was looking for a drop-off service (Fluff & Fold). Saw that this place offered that and being close to my house I stopped-in with a Hefty bag filled with a week's worth of dirty clothes. Although the attendant didn't appear to speak English I was able to communicate what I wanted done. She weighed the bag of clothes and gave me a claim ticket. I came-back the next day, my clothes were clean, folded and waiting for me in a clear plastic bag. $12 for ~10 LBS bag of clothes. Not sure if that's cheap or expensive but I felt like it was a good price. The clothes were all clean, in fact I think some of the colors might even look brighter too! The next time my wife is away and the hamper is full I'll stop-in to this place again! read more

I have moved around all over north orange county and since I was always the one stuck doing laundry for my huge family I have experienced a wide variety of laundromats. This particular facility is by far the absolute best one I have ever had the pleasure of giving my business to. What this facility has the no other mat I've been to has is a staff person ensuring cleanliness of the floors and folding counters to maintenance of the machines. And if there is ever a problem they are happy to fix it. Another great feature is the room in the back where the arcade machines are kept and even a tv that will play movies you can request the staff person to play. Yes they have a movie library on site to keep the kids from being too bored. Prices are what you expect to pay everywhere else. The location is great too as there is a 711 across the street and a Subway a few doors over in case you need a snack while doing mountains of laundry. read more

This places doesn't get a great review, the customer service is a 1 at its best. I even tried tipping the girl to get a better response, it had little to no affect. They did provide a service which I needed, the fluff and fold. and they did it as well as I can expect. The socks were matched, the clothes were never ruined. I've been using sudz faithfully for the last year -- best laundromat experience ever! It is very clean and the employees are really helpful and kind. I usually pay a little extra to drop off my laundry and they will wash and fold all my clothes for me, it's a super fair price, the clothes are folded so neatly, and my clothes are ready in 3 hours. I've been coming here for many years but I think it's time I took my business elsewhere. The machines and the floor are clean but the walls, corners, ceiling, tables, chairs and bathroom are all in need of a good scrub down. (Not sure what these reviews consider clean but cobwebs, brown streaks of indeterminate nature and dust on any surface higher than 3 ft above ground don't make my cut as 'super clean.') The last two times I have been here, someone has opened the dryer containing my clothes. I stay on site while I do my laundry. If possible, I try to sit where I can see the machines that I use. The only time my back is turned to my laundry is when I play Ms. Pac Man, once during the wash cycle and once during the drying cycle. I know, I know. Anyhow, last visit I walked up as a woman was walking away from my dryers. One of the doors to the dryer was ajar. I thought, perhaps one of the kids that was there accidentally opened it. When I got home, there were parts to a bra that were not mine. I always check all of the machines I use before and after use, so I know it wasn't there before. (One run in with someone else's ink pen will teach you that lesson forever.) That was creepy. This visit I went at a different time. There were only four other customers in the place, one drying clothes and two that came in after me. I used some dryers that were in a different section, away from other people. Again, I turned my back to play a video game. When I came back, the bottom dryer door was wide open, there were 9 minutes left on the timer and half of my laundry was on the floor. No one was in the vicinity and nothing appeared to be missing. Nothing that didn't belong to me turned up this time. I realize that the establishment isn't responsible for the conduct of it's customers. I don't want to go someplace where I have to stand in front of my machine the entire time to make sure that no one messes with it. There are cheaper, newer, cleaner places near me that I can use where I don't have this problem. The downside to these other places is that they don't have as many single machines. The straw that broke the camel's back today was the rude treatment of the onsite attendant. I tried to buy a soda from the vending machine (fyi- it's cheaper at the liquor store next door, but I was trying to support the laundromat.) No soda came out, couldn't buy anything. I tried to use the coin return and couldn't get my change back. I told the attendant and she told me I needed to put more money in it. I told her that I just wanted to get my money back, that it wouldn't come out. She said "Look" and marched over to the machine. She pressed every button. No soda came out. She put more money in the machine and used the coin return. No money came out. She just looked at me. I said "See? It sounds like the money drops when you hit the coin release, but nothing comes out." Her reply was "Hmmph" and she handed me a dollar. read more

I just returned from Sudz where I had a very positive experience. It was my first visit to a coin laundry in years. An emergency situation (kitty got sick on the bed) forced me out to clean a thick, heavy King-sized comforter. I read all the YELP reviews and selected this one based on Penny C's comments and on the proximity to my home. The facility was spotless and the machines clean and sweet smelling. The young couple who run the place were quite helpful. You can easily get change. There are several massive washers and dryers so capacity and availability were not issues. My comforter turned out cleaner and better than expected. I am definitely going back with all of the other bedding in my home! Thanks for turning a challenge into a great experience. read more

The five stars doesn't mean it is a luxury location; but the service is kind, personal and great. Not every business can manage that! When my plumbing backed up after a vacation, and I had tons of laundry waiting, I selected this place for reviews that were decent, and proximity to my house. I decided to really treat myself and have the laundry done for me. Over 6 months later I'm still having them do my laundry every week. I appreciate not having to set a whole day aside to go back and forth to my garage doing my 7 or so loads. The owners and their employee are super-nice, and they've done great work with my family's laundry. My husband's most recent purchase of khaki Dockers are labeled to be washed in the gentle cycle.
