The employees are always helpful and personable, and will help give you the best deals! I feel safe leaving my backpack and bike at the front of the store knowing the employees will keep an eye on it for me. The store may have random selections of products but what they do have is usually for a good price, and the employees are always willing to help with whatever you need. Any corrective conversation should be handled privately and respectfully. When I later expressed my concern regarding this behavior to the Store Director, Vikki Eiswert, I was told to leave the store after stating that I felt her approach toward the employee was rude. Rather than engaging in a professional discussion, she stated she would not argue, removed items from my hands, and proceeded to contact law enforcement. At no point was I aggressive or causing a disturbance; the only issue was that I voiced my concern about her conduct. I will not be shopping at this location again, and I intend to ensure that this experience is brought to the attention of the appropriate parties. No one--whether a manager or a store associate--should be spoken to in a belittling or disrespectful manner. The employee involved was not at fault, and being in a leadership position does not justify speaking to employees in an unprofessional way. While being asked to leave the store is not my primary concern, I will continue to share my experience until it reaches the appropriate level of review.

They had my favorite Taharka Brother's honey graham ice cream and some other tasty choices. I ended up in the bakery department and saw SO MANY delicious looking baked goods from a peanut butter Boston crème cake to banana pudding parfaits to mini cheesecakes. Their doughnuts are huge and made with the love of someone that loves to bake. I took quite a bit of photos showcasing their selections. As I walked through the store, I started to get a little hungry for a snack. I came back around to the deli/hot foods department and saw a mountain of tasty looking western fries. Now, western fries are extremely popular in Baltimore and the surrounding counties. I've had my share of western fries from the center of the city, to Brass Hen in Eastpoint mall, to even Royal Farms. All were delicious, BUT THESE FRIES WERE ABSOLUTE LOVE AT FIRST BITE!!! They were crunchy like a piece of fried chicken and tender inside like a fluffy baked potato. Omg, I can taste them right now. They were so, so amazingly yummy. If you love potatoes, or any variation of fries, you'd LOVE these. I actually may go back very soon for a fix. I didn't need salt, pepper, ketchup, NOTHING. Now, for my only gripe about Geresbeck's is that I wouldn't necessarily buy goods outside of the seafood, bakery or specialty items. I found that other items in the store, unless on sale, are higher priced than other grocery stores. But they have to counterbalance that with the affordable seafood prices, right? Anyways, if you're in the area, stop by and pick you up some delicious doughnuts and western fries while you're there. I also have to give major kudos to those responsible : Marina,(in the deli) who took the time and effort to find out the answers and make it happen. The usual "what is there is what's available. Or, check back tomorrow." Marina made sure that the customer (me), was taken care of. (Gee, we do that?) Joan,(in the deli) a multi tasking Wonder Woman who took care of other customers, helped Marina with my request, and fried my chicken ! I do think, she thought I couldn't count. She said 2 times "Mister, there are only 2 of us here today!" I looked around at asked the guy next to me, "How many do you see? He said 2!" I shook my head, me too. Lol! They offer meat packages and said they would be willing to trade out products (like pork) for a similar product they sell.
